The AD5253 / AD5254 are quad-channel, I2C, nonvolatile memory, digitally controlled potentiometers with 64/256 positions, respectively. These devices perform the same electronic adjustment functions as mechanical potentiometers, trimmers, and variable resistors.The parts’ versatile programmability allows multiple modes of operation, including read/write access in the RDAC and EEMEM registers, increment/decrement of resistance, resistance changes in ±6 dB scales, wiper setting readback, and extra EEMEM for storing user-defined information, such as memory data for other components, look-up table, or system identification information.The AD5253 / AD5254 allow the host I2C controllers to write any of the 64-/256-step wiper settings in the RDAC registers and store them in the EEMEM. Once the settings are stored, they are restored automatically to the RDAC registers at system power-on; the settings can also be restored dynamically.The AD5253 / AD5254 provide additional increment, decrement, +6 dB step change, and –6 dB step change in synchronous or asynchronous channel update mode. The increment and decrement functions allow stepwise linear adjustments, with a ± 6 dB step change equivalent to doubling or halving the RDAC wiper setting. These functions are useful for steep-slope, nonlinear adjustments, such as white LED brightness and audio volume control.The AD5253 / AD5254 have a patented resistance-tolerance storing function that allows the user to access the EEMEM and obtain the absolute end-to-end resistance values of the RDACs for precision applications.The AD5253 / AD5254 are available in TSSOP-20 packages in 1 kΩ, 10 kΩ, 50 kΩ, and 100 kΩ options. All parts are guaranteed to operate over the –40°C to +105°C extended industrial temperature range. The ADT74701 controller is a multichannel temperature sensor and PWM fan controller and fan speed monitor for systems requiring active cooling. It is designed to interface directly to an I2C® bus. The ADT7470 can monitor up to 10 daisy-chained TMP05 temperature sensors. It can also monitor and control the speed of four fans, in automatic or in manual control loops.A FULL_SPEED input is provided to allow the fans to be blasted to maximum speed, via external hardware control, under extreme thermal conditions or on system startup. An SMBALERT interrupt communicates error conditions such as fan under speed and over temperature measurements to the system service processor. The ADE9000 is a highly accurate, fully integrated, multiphase energy and power quality monitoring device. Superior analog performance and a digital signal processing (DSP) core enable accurate energy monitoring over a wide dynamic range. An integrated high end reference ensures low drift over temperature with a combined drift of less than ±25 ppm/°C maximum for the entire channel including a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) and an analog-to-digital converter (ADC).The ADE9000 offers complete power monitoring capability by providing total as well as fundamental measurements on rms, active, reactive, and apparent powers and energies. Advanced features such as dip and swell monitoring, frequency, phase angle, voltage total harmonic distortion (VTHD), current total harmonic distortion (ITHD), and power factor measurements enable implementation of power quality measurements. The ½ cycle rms and 10 cycle rms/12 cycle rms, calculated according to IEC 61000-4-30 Class S, provide instantaneous rms measurements for real-time monitoring.The ADE9000 offers an integrated flexible waveform buffer that stores samples at a fixed data rate of 32 kSPS or 8 kSPS, or a sampling rate that varies based on line frequency to ensure 128 points per line cycle. Resampling simplifies fast Fourier transform (FFT) calculation of at least 50 harmonics in an external processor.The ADE9000 simplifies the implementation of energy and power quality monitoring systems by providing tight integration of acquisition and calculation engines. The integrated ADCs and DSP engine calculate various parameters and provide data through user accessible registers or indicate events through interrupt pins. With seven dedicated ADC channels, the ADE9000 can be used on a 3-phase system or up to three single-phase systems. It supports current transformers (CTs) or Rogowski coils for current measurements. A digital integrator eliminates a discrete integrator required for Rogowski coils.The ADE9000 absorbs most complexity in calculations for a power monitoring system. The ADuM141E1 is a quad-channel digital isolator based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. The maximum propagation delay is 13 ns with a pulse width distortion of less than 3 ns at 5 V operation. Channel matching is tight at 3.0 ns maximum.The ADuM141E data channels are independent and are available in a variety of configurations with a withstand voltage rating of 3.0 kV rms or 3.75 kV rms (see the OrderingGuide). The devices operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 1.8 V to 5 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier.Unlike other optocoupler alternatives, dc correctness is ensured in the absence of input logic transitions. Two different fail-safeoptions are available, by which the outputs transition to a predetermined state when the input power supply is not applied or the inputs are disabled. Low Power HART Modem

The AD5700/AD5700-1 are single-chip solutions, designed and specified to operate as a HART® FSK half-duplex modem, complying with the HART physical layer requirements. The AD5700/AD5700-1 integrate all of the necessary filtering, signal detection, modulating, demodulating and signal generation functions, thus requiring few external components. The 0.5% precision internal oscillator on the AD5700-1 greatly reduces the board space requirements, making it ideal for line-powered applications in both master and slave configurations. The maximum supply current consumption is 115µA, making theAD5700/AD5700-1 an optimal choice for low power loop-powered applications. Transmit waveforms are phase continuous 1200 Hz and 2200 Hz sinusoids. The AD5700/AD5700-1 contain accurate carrier detect circuitry and use a standard UART interface.

The ADATE318 is a complete, single-chip ATE solution that performs the pin electronics functions of driver, comparator, and active load (DCL), four quadrant, per pin, parametric measurement unit (PPMU). It has VHH drive capability per chip to support flash memory testing applications and integrated 16-bit DACs with an on-chip calibration engine to provide all necessary dc levels for operation of the part.The driver features three active states: data high, data low, and terminate mode, as well as a high impedance inhibit state. The inhibit state, in conjunction with the integrated dynamic clamps, facilitates the implementation of a high speed active termination. The output voltage capability is −1.5 V to +6.5 V to accommodate a wide range of ATE and instrumentation applications.The ADATE318 can be used as a dual, single-ended drive/ receive channel or as a single differential drive/receive channel. Each channel of the ADATE318 features a high speed window comparator as well as a programmable threshold differential comparator for differential ATE applications. A four quadrant PPMU is also provided per channel.All dc levels for DCL and PPMU functions are generated by 24 on-chip 16-bit DACs. To facilitate accurate levels programming, the ADATE318 contains an integrated calibration function to correct gain and offset errors for each functional block. Correction coefficients can be stored on chip, and any values written to the DACs are automatically adjusted using the appropriate correction factors.The ADATE318 uses a serial programmable interface (SPI) bus to program all functional blocks, DACs, and on-chip calibration constants.
