With 1 dB frequency flatness out to 8 MHz and 50 dB rejection at 27 MHz, the ADA4430-1 is ideal in SD video applications including NTSC and PAL.The ADA4430-1 operates on single supplies as low as 2.5 V and as high as 6 V while providing the dynamic range required by the most demanding video systems.The ADA4430-1 also provides an on-chip dc offset to avoid clipping of the sync tips at the filter output, as well as SAG correction that permits smaller capacitor values to be used in applications with ac-coupled outputs.The ADA4430-1 is available in a 6-lead SC70 package and is rated to work in the extended automotive temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.

The AD5204/AD5206 provide 4-/6-channel, 256-position digitally controlled variable resistor (VR) devices. These devices perform the same electronic adjustment function as a potentiometer or variable resistor. Each channel of the AD5204/AD5206 contains a fixed resistor with a wiper contact that taps the fixed resistor value at a point determined by a digital code loaded into the SPI-compatible serial-input register. The resistance between the wiper and either endpoint of the fixed resistor varies linearly with respect to the digital code transferred into the VR latch. The variable resistor offers a completely programmable value of resistance between the A terminal and the wiper or the B terminal and the wiper. The fixed A-to-B terminal resistance of 10 kΩ, 50 kΩ, or 100 kΩ has a nominal temperature coefficient of 700 ppm/°C.Each VR has its own VR latch that holds its programmed resistance value. These VR latches are updated from an internal serial-to-parallel shift register that is loaded from a standard 3-wire serial-input digital interface. Eleven data bits make up the data-word clocked into the serial input register. The first three bits are decoded to determine which VR latch is loaded with the last eight bits of the data-word when the CS strobe is returned to logic high. A serial data output pin at the opposite end of the serial register (AD5204 only) allows simple daisy chaining in multiple VR applications without requiring additional external decoding logic.An optional reset (PR) pin forces all the AD5204 wipers to the midscale position by loading 0x80 into the VR latch.The AD5204/AD5206 are available in the 24-lead surface-mount SOIC and TSSOP packages. The AD5204 is also available in a 32-lead, 5 mm × 5 mm LFCSP package. All parts are guaranteed to operate over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. The AD5241 / AD52421 provide a single-/dual-channel, 256-position, digitally controlled variable resistor (VR) device. These devices perform the same electronic adjustment function as a potentiometer, trimmer, or variable resistor. Each VR offers a completely programmable value of resistance between the A terminal and the wiper, or the B terminal and the wiper. For the AD5242, the fixed A-to-B terminal resistance of 10 kΩ, 100 kΩ, or 1 MΩ has a 1% channel-to-channel matching tolerance. The nominal temperature coefficient of both parts is 30 ppm/°C.Wiper position programming defaults to midscale at system power on. When powered, the VR wiper position is programmed by an I2C-compatible, 2-wire serial data interface. Both parts have two extra programmable logic outputs available that enable users to drive digital loads, logic gates, LED drivers, and analog switches in their system.The AD5241 / AD5242 are available in surface-mount, 14-lead SOIC and 16-lead SOIC packages and, for ultracompact solutions, 14-lead TSSOP and 16-lead TSSOP packages. The AD633 is a functionally complete, four-quadrant, analog multiplier. It includes high impedance, differential X and Y inputs, and a high impedance summing input (Z). The low impedance output voltage is a nominal 10 V full scale provided by a buried Zener. The AD633 is the first product to offer these features in modestly priced 8-lead PDIP and SOIC packages.The AD633 is laser calibrated to a guaranteed total accuracy of 2% of full scale. Nonlinearity for the Y input is typically less than 0.1% and noise referred to the output is typically less than 100 μV rms in a 10 Hz to 10 kHz bandwidth. A 1 MHz bandwidth, 20 V/μs slew rate, and the ability to drive capacitive loads make the AD633 useful in a wide variety of applications where simplicity and cost are key concerns.The versatility of the AD633 is not compromised by its simplicity. The Z input provides access to the output buffer amplifier, enabling the user to sum the outputs of two or more multipliers, increase the multiplier gain, convert the output voltage to a current, and configure a variety of applications.The AD633 is available in 8-lead PDIP and SOIC packages. It is specified to operate over the 0°C to 70°C commercial temperature range (J Grade) or the −40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range (A Grade).Product Highlights The AD633 is a complete four-quadrant multiplier offered in low cost 8-lead SOIC and PDIP packages. The AD8110 and AD8111 are high-speed 16 × 8 video crosspointswitch matrices. They offer a –3 dB signal bandwidthgreater than 260 MHz, and channel switch times of less than25 ns with 1% settling. With –78 dB of crosstalk and –97 dBisolation (@ 5 MHz), the AD8110/AD8111 are useful in manyhigh-speed applications. The differential gain and differentialphase of better than 0.02% and 0.02° respectively, along with0.1 dB flatness out to 60 MHz, make the AD8110/AD8111ideal for video signal switching.The AD8110 and AD8111 include eight independent outputbuffers that can be placed into a high impedance state for parallelingcrosspoint outputs so that off channels do not load theoutput bus. The AD8110 has a gain of +1, while the AD8111offers a gain of +2. They operate on voltage supplies of ±5 Vwhile consuming only 50 mA of idle current.
