The fido2100 is part of the Innovasic fido® family of real-time communication products. The fido2100 is a managed, 3-port Ethernet switch with support for IEEE-1588 and Device Level Ring (DLR) protocol. The fido2100 enhances the capabilities of Innovasic’s line of Industrial Ethernet products by providing an infrastructure element with low latency, time synchronization and redundancy for any embedded Industrial Ethernet solution.The fido2100 is an IEEE 802.3 standard compliant, Layer 2 switch that is compatible with the IEEE 802.1D standard. It has three ports: two are external ports that function as physical ports of a product and one is an internal port that connects to the host CPU. Each of the three ports has an IEEE 802.3 compliant MAC and the ports are interconnected with each other through full wire speed, non-blocking switching logic. Figure 1 illustrates the top-level blocks of the fido2100 architecture.The pass-through of traffic is handled swiftly by using cut through forwarding to pass traffic to the other external port. This is accomplished without host CPU intervention, which keeps throughput time host interaction to a minimum and keeps pass through delay to a minimum.The fido2100 also has the ability to operate in a DLR configuration, which provides media redundancy amongst its members. Host CPU source code is available to provide the ability for the device to be a DLR participant or a DLR supervisor using the DLR support functions. The fido2100 will default to linear topology operation, and when inserted into a ring, will automatically change to DLR operation as a DLR participant.

They offer a −3 dB large signal bandwidth of 750 MHz (ADV3228) and a slew rate of 2500 V/μs.The ADV3228/ADV3229 include eight independent output buffers that can be placed into a high impedance state for paralleling crosspoint outputs to prevent off channels from loading the output bus. The ADV3228 has a gain of +1, the ADV3229 has a gain of +2, and they both operate on voltage supplies of ±5 V. The ADuM120N/ADuM121N1 are dual-channel digital isolators based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. The maximum propagation delay is 13 ns with a pulse width distortion of less than 3 ns at 5 V operation. Channel matching is tight at 3.0 ns maximum.The ADuM120N/ADuM121N data channels are independent and are available in a variety of configurations with a withstand voltage rating of 3 kV rms (see the Ordering Guide). The devices operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 1.8 V to 5 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier.Unlike other optocoupler alternatives, dc correctness is ensured in the absence of input logic transitions. Two different fail-safe options are available in which the outputs transition to a predetermined state when the input power supply is not applied or the inputs are disabled.The ADuM120N0 is pin-compatible with the ADuM1285, and the ADuM120N1 is pin-compatible with the ADuM1280 and the ADuM1200. Furthermore, it maintains high accuracy while measuring a wide range of input waveforms, including variable duty-cycle pulses and triac (phase)-controlled sine waves. The low cost and small size of this converter make it suitable for upgrading the performance of non-rms precision rectifiers in many applications. Compared to these circuits, the AD736 offers higher accuracy at an equal or lower cost.The AD736 can compute the rms value of both ac and dc input voltages. It can also be operated as an ac-coupled device by adding one external capacitor. In this mode, the AD736 can resolve input signal levels of 100 μV rms or less, despite variations in temperature or supply voltage. High accuracy is also maintained for input waveforms with crest factors of 1 to 3. In addition, crest factors as high as 5 can be measured (introducing only 2.5% additional error) at the 200 mV full-scale input level.The AD736 has its own output buffer amplifier, thereby pro-viding a great deal of design flexibility. The AD8158 is an asynchronous, protocol-agnostic, quad-lane 2:1 switch with a total of 12 differential CML inputs and 12 differential CML outputs. The signal path supports NRZ signaling with data rates up to 6.5 Gbps per lane. Each lane offers programmable receive equalization, programmable output pre-emphasis, programmable output levels, and loss-of-signal detection.The nonblocking switch-core of the AD8158 implements a 2:1 multiplexer and 1:2 demultiplexer per lane and supports independent lane switching through the four select pins, SEL[3:0]. Each port is a four-lane link. Every lane implements an asynchronous path supporting dc to 6.5 Gbps NRZ data, fully independent of other lanes. The AD8158 has low latency and very low lane-to-lane skew.The main application of the AD8158 is to support redundancy on both the backplane and the line interface sides of a serial link. The demultiplexing path implements unicast and bicast capability, allowing the part to support either 1 + 1 or 1:1 redundancy.The AD8158 is also suited for testing high speed serial links because of its ability to duplicate incoming data. The ADAU1442 / ADAU1445 / ADAU1446 are enhanced audio processors that allow full flexibility in routing all input and output signals. The SigmaDSP® core features full 28-bit processing (56-bit in double-precision mode), synchronous parameter loading for ensuring filter stability, and 100% code efficiency with the SigmaStudio™ tools. This DSP allows system designers to compensate for the real-world limitations of speakers, amplifiers, and listening environments, resulting in a dramatic improvement of the perceived audio quality through speaker equalization, multiband compression, limiting, and third-party branded algorithms.The flexible audio routing matrix (FARM) allows the user to multiplex inputs from multiple sources running at various sample rates to or from the SigmaDSP core. This drastically reduces the complexity of signal routing and clocking issues in the audio system. FARM includes up to eight stereo asynchronous sample rate converters (depending on the device model), Sony/Philips Digital Interconnect Format (S/PDIF) input and output, and serial (I2S) and time division multiplexing (TDM) I/Os. Any of these inputs can be routed to the SigmaDSP core or to any of the asynchronous sample rate converters (ASRCs). Similarly, any one of the output signals can be taken from the SigmaDSP core or from any of the ASRC outputs. This routing scheme, which can be modified at any time via control registers, allows for maximum system flexibility.The ADAU1442, ADAU1445, and ADAU1446 differ only in ASRC functionality and packaging. The ADAU1442 / ADAU1445 contain 16 channels of ASRCs and are packaged in TQFP packages, whereas the ADAU1446 contains no ASRCs and is packaged in an LQFP. The ADAU1442 can handle nine clock domains, the ADAU1445 can handle three clock domains, and the ADAU1446 can handle one clock domain.The ADAU1442 / ADAU1445 / ADAU1446 can be controlled in one of two operational modes: the settings of the chip can be loaded and dynamically updated through the SPI/I2C® port, or the DSP can self-boot from an external EEPROM in a system with no microcontroller. The ADuC7060/ADuC7061 are fully integrated, 8 kSPS, 24-bit data acquisition systems incorporating high performance multi-channel sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), 16-bit/ 32-bit ARM7TDMI® MCU, and Flash/EE memory on a single chip.The ADCs consists of a 5-channel primary ADC and up to an 8-channel auxiliary ADC. The ADCs operate in single-ended or differential input modes. A single channel buffered voltage output DAC is available on-chip. The DAC output range is programmable to one of two voltage ranges.The devices operate from an on-chip oscillator and a PLL gene-rating an internal high frequency clock up to 10.24 MHz. The microcontroller core is an ARM7TDMI, 16-bit/32-bit RISC machine offering up to 10 MIPS peak performance. 4 kB of SRAM and 32 kB of nonvolatile Flash/EE memory are provided on-chip. The ARM7TDMI core views all memory and registers as a single linear array.The ADuC7060/ADuC7061 contain four timers. Timer 1 is wake-up timer with the ability to bring the part out of power saving mode. Timer 2 may be configured as a watchdog timer. A 16-bit PWM with six output channels is also provided.The ADuC7060/ADuC7061 contain an advanced interrupt controller. The vectored interrupt controller (VIC) allows every interrupt to be assigned a priority level. It also supports nested interrupts to a maximum level of eight per IRQ and FIQ. When IRQ and FIQ interrupt sources are combined, a total of 16 nested interrupt levels are supported.
