The ADIN2299 is a complete, pretested solution that manages the industrial protocol and network traffic for an applications processor.The module contains everything needed to participate in a Ether-CAT, PROFINET? real-time (RT) and isochronous real time (IRT), EtherNet/IP network, including a communications controller, protocol stack, flash, RAM, follower controller, and physical layer (PHY). An applications processor connects via a universal asynchronousreceiver transmitter (UART), serial peripheral interface (SPI), or Ethernet interface.At the software layer, the applications processor connects to a unified interface so the supported industrial protocols can be used without changing the applications processor software. The HMC678LC3C is a 2:1 Selector designed to support data transmission rates of up to 13 Gbps, and selector port operation of up to 13 GHz. The selector routes one of the two single-ended inputs to the differential output upon assertion of the proper select port. All single-ended input signals to the HMC678LC3C are terminated with 50 ohms to ground on-chip, and may be either AC or DC coupled.The outputs of the HMC678LC3C may be operated either differentially or single-ended. Outputs can be connected directly to a 50 ohm terminated system, while DC blocking capacitors may be used if the terminating system is 50 ohms to a non-ground DC voltage. The HMC727 is a D-type Flip Flop designed to support data transmission rates of up to 13 Gbps, and clock frequencies as high as 13 GHz. During normal operation, data is transferred to the outputs on the positive edge of the clock. Reversing the clock inputs allows for negative-edge triggered applications. All input signals to the HMC727 are terminated with 50 Ohms to ground on-chip, and maybe either AC or DC coupled.The differential outputs of the HMC727 may be either AC or DC coupled. The EVAL-ADICUP3029 is an Arduino and PMOD compatible form factor development board that includes Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The board uses CrossCore Embedded Studio, an open source Eclipse based Interactive Development Environment (IDE), which can be downloaded free of charge. The platform contains many hardware and software example projects to make it easier for customers to prototype and create connected systems and solutions for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
The EVAL-ADICUP3029 uses the ADuCM3029 ultra low power Arm Cortex-M3 processor as the main device on board. The ADuCM3029 is an integrated mixed-signal microcontroller system for processing, control and connectivity.

A “sweet spot” embedded-solution approach is to design with a platform that can implement a low channel count basic VoIP solution, yet retain sufficient capacity for value added capabilities and services – such as video, music, imaging and system control. Unlike traditional VoIP embedded solutions that utilize two processor cores to provide VoIP functionality, the ADSP-BF527 provides a convergent solution in a unified core architecture that allows voice and video signal processing concurrent with RISC MCU processing to handle network and user-interface demands. This unique ability to offer full VoIP functionality on a single convergent processor provides for a unified software development environment, faster system debugging and deployment, and lower overall system cost.IP protection has become a necessary part of today’s embedded computing applications. The ADSP-BF527 provides a security scheme which balances flexibility and upgradeability with performance through the inclusion of a firmware-based solution including OTP (One Time Programmable) memory to enable users to implement private keys for secure access to program code.
