The LTC3409 is a high efficiency, monolithic synchronous buck regulator using a constant frequency, current mode architecture. The output voltage is adjusted via an external resistor divider.Fixed switching frequencies of 1.7MHz and 2.6MHz are supported. Alternatively, an internal PLL will synchronize to an external clock in the frequency range of 1MHz to 3MHz. This range of switching frequencies allows the use of small surface mount inductors and capacitors, including ceramics.Supply current during Burst Mode operation is only 65?A dropping to <1?A in shutdown. The 1.6V to 5.5V input voltage range makes the LTC3409 ideally suited for single cell Li-Ion, Li-Metal and 2-cell alkaline, NiCd or NiMH battery-powered applications. 100% duty cycle capability provides low dropout operation, extending battery life in portable systems. Burst Mode operation can be user enabled, increasing efficiency at light loads, further extending battery life. The internal synchronous switch increases efficiency and eliminates the need for an external Schottky diode. Internal soft-start offers controlled output voltage rise time at start-up without the need for external components.Protected by U.S. Patents, including 5481178, 6580258, 6304066, 6127815, 6498466, 6611131. LTC3221EDC Demo Board | Micropower Regulated Adjustable Output Charge Pump, 1.8V ≤ VIN ≤ 3.8V, VOUT = 3V @ Up to 60mA

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 862 is a micropower regulated charge pump DC/DC converter featuring the 60mA output LTC3221 in a 2mm × 2mm DFN package. It comes in three assembly versions, DC862A-A, DC862A-B and DC862A-C, featuring the LTC3221EDC-3.3 (fixed 3.3V output), the LTC3221EDC-5 (fixed 5V output) , and LTC3221EDC (adjustable output set to 3V), respectively. The demo board input voltage range depends on the IC used; for the adjustable output DC862A-C, the input voltage range is 1.8V to 3.8V. The LTC3221's low 8µA no-load quiescent current is even lower than the self-discharging current of many batteries. By employing a constant current to charge the output, the output ripple is low even at high input and light load, and is fairly constant over the full input voltage range.

LTC3240EDC-2.5 Demo Board | Regulated Buck-Boost Charge Pump, 1.8V ≤ VIN ≤ 5.5V, VOUT = 2.5V @ Up to 150mA

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 903 is a step-up/step-down charge pump dc-dc converter. It comes with two assembly versions, DC903A-A and DC903A-B featuring the 150mA output current LTC3240-3.3 (3.3V output) and LTC3240-2.5 (2.5V output) respectively, each in a tiny 2mm x 2mm DFN package. The DC903A-A and DC903A-B operate with an input voltage from 1.8V to 5.5V. When using the DC903A-A, the output current can reach up to 150mA when the input voltage is above 2.5V. The maximum output current of the DC903A-B is 60mA with a 1.8V input voltage. The DC903A optimizes the output efficiency by operating in the LDO step-down mode during the time the input is higher than the output voltage. When the input voltage drops low enough, The LTC3240 automatically switches to charge-pump doubling mode to extend system run-time. Built-in soft-start limits inrush current at turn-on, and short-circuit current limit/thermal protection help the part survive a continuous short-circuit. Additionally, the DC903A features Automatic Burst Mode operation at light load to achieve low supply current (65µA, no load).
