The ADR380 and ADR381 are precision 2.048 V and 2.500 V band gap voltage references featuring high accuracy, high stability, and low power consumption in a tiny footprint. Patented temperature drift curvature correction techniques minimize nonlinearity of the voltage change with temperature. The wide operating range and low power consumption makethem ideal for 3 V to 5 V battery-powered applications. The ADR380 and ADR381 are micropower, low dropout voltage (LDV) devices that provide a stable output voltage from supplies as low as 300 mV above the output voltage. They are specified over the industrial (−40°C to +85°C) temperature range. The ADR380/ADR381 are available in the tiny 3-lead SOT-23 package.

The LTC4267 combines an IEEE 802.3af compliant Powered Device (PD) interface with a current mode switching regulator, providing a complete power solution for PD applications. The LTC4267 integrates the 25kΩ signature resistor, classification current source, thermal overload protection, signature disable and power good signal along with an undervoltage lockout optimized for use with the IEEE-required diode bridge. The precision dual level input current limit allows the LTC4267 to charge large load capacitors and interface with legacy PoE systems.The current mode switching regulator is designed for driving a 6V rated N-channel MOSFET and features programmable slope compensation, soft-start, and constant frequency operation, minimizing noise even with light loads. The LTC2927 provides a simple solution to power supply tracking and sequencing requirements. By selecting a few resistors, the supply can be configured to ramp-up and ramp-down with differing ramp rates, voltage offsets, or time delays relative to other supplies or a master signal.By forcing current into a feedback node of an independent supply, the LTC2927 causes the output to track a ramp signal without inserting any pass element losses. Because the current is controlled in an open-loop manner, the LTC2927 does not affect the transient response or stability of the supply. The compact solution at point of load minimizes the trace length of the DC/DC circuit sensitive FB node. Special care has been taken to minimize thermal regulation effects and temperature induced hysteresis.The LT1031 reference is based on a buried Zener diode structure which eliminates noise and stability problems associated with surface breakdown devices. Further, a subsurface Zener exhibits better temperature drift and time stability than even the best band-gap references.Unique circuit design makes the LT1031 the first three terminal IC reference to offer ultralow drift without the use of high power on-chip heaters. The ADP3303 stands out from the conventional LDOs with a different architecture, an enhanced process, and adifferent package. Its patented design requires only a 0.47 μFoutput capacitor for stability. This device is insensitive to capacitor Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) and is stable with any good quality capacitor, including ceramic types (MLCC) forspace restricted applications. The ADP3303 achievesexceptional accuracy of ±0.8% at room temperature and ±1.4%overall accuracy over temperature, line, and load regulations.The dropout voltage of the ADP3303 is only 180 mV (typical) at 200 mA.In addition to the architecture and process, the Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary thermally enhanced package (Thermal Coastline)can handle 1 W of power dissipation without external heatsink or large copper surface on the printed circuit board (PCB).This keeps PCB real estate to a minimum and makes theADP3303 very attractive for use in portable equipment.The ADP3303 operates with a wide input voltage range from 3.2 V to 12 V and delivers a load current in excess of 200 mA.It features an error flag that signals when the device is about to lose regulation or when the short circuit or thermal overloadprotection is activated. The LT3468/LT3468-1/LT3468-2 are highly integrated ICs designed to charge photoflash capacitors in digital and film cameras. A patented control technique* allows for the use of extremely small transformers. Each device contains an on-chip high voltage NPN power switch. Output voltage detection* is completely contained within the device, eliminating the need for any discrete zener diodes or resistors. The output voltage can be adjusted by simply changing the turns ratio of the transformer. The LT3468 has a primary current limit of 1.4A, the LT3468-2 has a 1A limit, and the LT3468-1 has a 0.7A limit. These different current limit levels result in well controlled input currents of 500mA for the LT3468, 375mA for the LT3468-2 and 225mA for the LT3468-1. Aside from the differing current limit, the three devices are otherwise equivalent.The CHARGE pin gives full control of the part to the user. Driving CHARGE low puts the part in shutdown. The DONE pin indicates when the part has completed charging. The LTC1628/LTC1628-PG are high performance dual step-down switching regulator controllers that drive all N-channel synchronous power MOSFET stages. A constant frequency current mode architecture allows adjustment of the frequency up to 300kHz. Power loss and noise due to the ESR of the input capacitors are minimized by operating the two controller output stages out of phase.OPTI-LOOP compensation allows the transient response to be optimized over a wide range of output capacitance and ESR values. The precision 0.8V reference and power good output indicator are compatible with future microprocessor generations, and a wide 3.5V to 30V (36V maximum) input supply range encompasses all battery chemistries.A RUN/SS pin for each controller provides both soft-start and optional timed, short-circuit shutdown. Current foldback limits MOSFET dissipation during short-circuit conditions when overcurrent latchoff is disabled. Output overvoltage protection circuitry latches on the bottom MOSFET until VOUT returns to normal. The FCB mode pin can select among Burst Mode, constant frequency mode and continuous inductor current mode or regulate a secondary winding.
