The LTM4600HV is a complete 10A, DC/DC step down power supply with up to 28V input operation. Included in the package are the switching controller, power FETs, inductor, and all support components. The LTC3409 is a high efficiency, monolithic synchronous buck regulator using a constant frequency, current mode architecture. The LTC3422 is a high efficiency, current mode, fixed frequency, step-up DC/DC converter with true output disconnect and inrush current limiting. The part is guaranteed to start up from an input voltage of 1V. The device includes a 0.20? N-channel MOSFET switch and a 0.24? P-channel MOSFET synchronous rectifier. The output voltage, switching frequency, soft-start time, Burst Mode threshold and loop compensation are all simply programmed using tiny external passive components.Quiescent current is only 25?A during Burst Mode operation, maximizing battery life in portable applications. Demonstration circuit 862 is a micropower regulated charge pump DC/DC converter featuring the 60mA output LTC3221 in a 2mm × 2mm DFN package. It comes in three assembly versions, DC862A-A, DC862A-B and DC862A-C, featuring the LTC3221EDC-3.3 (fixed 3.3V output), the LTC3221EDC-5 (fixed 5V output) , and LTC3221EDC (adjustable output set to 3V), respectively. The demo board input voltage range depends on the IC used; for the adjustable output DC862A-C, the input voltage range is 1.8V to 3.8V. The LTC3221's low 8µA no-load quiescent current is even lower than the self-discharging current of many batteries. By employing a constant current to charge the output, the output ripple is low even at high input and light load, and is fairly constant over the full input voltage range.

Demonstration circuit 886 is an ultralow input voltage and dropout voltage supply using the 300mA output current LTC3035 linear regulator, which comes in a very small 8-pin 3mm × 2mm DFN package. The DC886 has an input voltage range from 1.7V to 5.5V and jumper selectable output voltages of 2.5V/3.3V/5V or a user-determined value.  Due to the 0.4V reference of the LTC3035, the DC886 is capable of supplying power to very low voltage applications, such as a (relatively) high current voltage references. The DC886 comes assembled with small 1uF ceramic capacitors to demonstrate the LTC3035's ability to  maintain stability with ceramic output capacitors.

The ADM1075 is a full feature, negative voltage, hot swap controllerwith constant power foldback and high accuracy digital currentand voltage measurement that allows boards to be safely insertedand removed from a live -48 V backplane. The part providesprecise and robust current limiting and protection against bothtransient and nontransient short circuits and overvoltage andundervoltage conditions. The ADM1075 typically operates froma negative voltage of -35 V to -80 V and, due to shunt regulation,has excellent voltage transient immunity. The operating range ofthe part is flexible due to the shunt regulator, and the part can bepowered directly by a 10 V rail to save shunt power dissipation(see the Powering the ADM1075 section for more details).A full-scale current limit of 25 mV or 50 mV can be selected bychoosing the appropriate model. The ADM1166 Super Sequencer? is a configurable supervisory/ sequencing device that offers a single-chip solution for supply monitoring and sequencing in multiple-supply systems. In addition to these functions, the ADM1166 integrates a 12-bit ADC and six 8-bit voltage output DACs. These circuits can be used to implement a closed-loop margining system that enables supply adjustment by altering either the feedback node or reference of a dc-to-dc converter using the DAC outputs.Supply margining can be performed with a minimum of external components.
