PHY1078QT-RR

Analog Devices Inc.
The PHY1078-01 is a combined burst-mode laser driver and limiting amplifier for use within fiber optic modules for FTTx applications. Used with the PHY1095 or PHY1097 transimpedance amplifiers and a low cost serial EEPROM, the device forms a complete PON diplexer silicon solution. The transmit block includes a high-frequency modulator and a bias current generator. The bias current can be controlled either by a fast-settling APC loop or in open-loop mode, which uses a temperature lookup table. The receiver includes a limiting amplifier with programmable bandwidth. A signal-detect/loss-of-signal function is implemented using the input signal modulation amplitude with user-selectable threshold and hysteresis.Operating with a 3.3V supply and rated from -40°C to +95°C ambient operating temperature range, the PHY1078-01 is housed in a 32-pin, 5mm x 5mm, RoHS-compliant, TQFN package.ApplicationsGEPON

REF02CPZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The REF01 / REF02 / REF03 series of precision voltage references provide a stable 10.0 V, 5.0 V, or 2.5 V output with minimal change in response to variations in supply voltage, ambient temperature or load conditions. The devices are available in 8-lead SOIC, PDIP, CERDIP, and TO-99 packages, as well as 20-terminal LCC packages (883 only), furthering the usability of the devices in both standard and high stress applications. With an external buffer and a simple resistor network, the TEMP terminal can be used for temperature sensing and approximation. A TRIM terminal is also provided on the device for fine adjustment of the output voltage. The small footprint, wide supply range, and application versatility make the REF0x series of references ideal for general-purpose and space-constrained applications.Newer designs should use the ADR01 / ADR02 / ADR03 / ADR06 series of references, which offer higher accuracy and temperature stability over a wider operating temperature range, while maintaining full pin-for-pin compatibility with the REF01 / REF02 / REF03 series. REF194GSZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The REF19x series precision band gap voltage references use a patented temperature drift curvature correction circuit and laser trimming of highly stable, thin-film resistors to achieve a very low temperature coefficient and high initial accuracy. The REF19x series is made up of micropower, low dropout voltage (LDV) devices, providing stable output voltage from supplies as low as 100 mV above the output voltage and consuming less than 45 μA of supply current. In sleep mode, which is enabled by applying a low TTL or CMOS level to the SLEEP pin, the output is turned off and supply current is further reduced to less than 15 μA.The REF19x series references are specified over the extended industrial temperature range (−40°C to +85°C) with typical performance specifications over −40°C to +125°C for applications, such as automotive. All electrical grades are available in an 8-lead SOIC package; the PDIP and TSSOP packages are available only in the lowest electrical grade.APPLICATIONS Portable instruments ADCs and DACs Smart sensors Solar powered applications Loop-current-powered instruments

AD780BNZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD780 is an ultrahigh precision band gap reference voltage that provides a 2.5 V or 3.0 V output from inputs between 4.0 V and 36 V. Low initial error and temperature drift combined with low output noise and the ability to drive any value of capacitance make the AD780 the ideal choice for enhancing the performance of high resolution analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and digital-to-analog converters (DACs) and for any general purpose precision reference application. A unique low headroom design facilitates a 3.0 V output from a 5.0 V ± 10% input, providing a 20% boost to the dynamic range of an ADC over performance with existing 2.5 V references. The AD780 can be used to source or sink up to 10 mA and can be used in series or shunt mode, thus allowing positive or negative output voltages without external components. This makes it suitable for virtually any high performance reference application. Unlike some competing references, the AD780 has no region of possible instability. The part is stable under all load conditions when a 1 µF bypass capacitor is used on the supply.A temperature output pin on the AD780 provides an output voltage that varies linearly with temperature, allowing the part to be configured as a temperature transducer while providing a stable 2.5 V or 3.0 V output. The AD780 is a pin-compatible performance upgrade for the LT1019(A)-2.5 and the AD680. The latter is targeted toward low power applications. The AD780 is available in three grades in PDIP and SOIC packages. The AD780AN, AD780AR, AD780BN, AD780BR, and AD780CR are specified for operation from −40°C to +85°C.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS The AD780 provides a pin programmable 2.5 V or 3.0 V output from a 4 V to 36 V input. Laser trimming of both initial accuracy and temperature coefficients results in low errors over temperature without the use of external components. The AD780BN has a maximum variation of 0.9 mV from −40°C to +85°C. For applications that require even higher accuracy, an optional fine-trim connection is provided. The AD780 noise is extremely low, typically 4 mV p-p from 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz and a wideband spectral noise density of typically 100 nV/√Hz. This can be further reduced, if desired, by using two external capacitors. The temperature output pin enables the AD780 to be configured as a temperature transducer while providing a stable output reference.
