ADM1294-1AACPZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADM1293 and ADM1294 are high accuracy integrated digital power monitors that offer digital current, voltage, and power monitoring using an on-chip, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), communicated through a PMBus™ compliant I2C interface. These devices acquire the current by measuring the voltage difference across the external sense resistor. This voltage is amplified and digitized by an internal 12-bit ADC. The same ADC can also sample the primary input voltage and an auxiliary input voltage. The internal digital block can perform multiplication of the current and primary input voltage for power calculation. The ADM1293/ADM1294 also feature a power accumulator for energy metering. An industry-standard PMBus interface allows a master controller to read back these data from the device. The master controller can then combine this information with a known sense resistor value to calculate the current, voltage, power, and energy consumption over time on the monitored rail.In conditions such as overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and overpower, the ADM1293/ADM1294 devices can generate an interrupt signal to the microprocessor through the GPOx/ALERTx outputs. The threshold for these conditions is digitally programmed via PMBus.The ADM1293 is designed for high-side supply monitoring with a voltage monitoring range from 0 V to 20 V. The ADM1294 is designed for low-side supply monitoring. Its integrated shunt regulator allows it to be powered and to monitor supply in wide voltage ranges. The ADM1293/ADM1294 are available in 4 mm × 4 mm 16-lead LFCSP and 14-lead TSSOP packages with a specified operating ambient temperature range from −40°C to +105°C for the ADM1293 and an operating junction temperature range from −40°C to +105°C for the ADM1294.Applications Power monitoring/power budgeting Central office equipment Telecommunications and data communications equipment PCs/servers

The 300 mA, adjustable dual output ADP223/ADP225 and fixed dual output ADP222/ADP224 combine high PSRR, low noise, low quiescent current, and low dropout voltage in a voltage regulator that is ideally suited for wireless applications with demanding performance and board space requirements. The low quiescent current, low dropout voltage, and wide input voltage range of the ADP222/ADP223/ADP224/ADP225 extend the battery life of portable devices. The ADP222/ADP223/ADP224/ADP225 maintain power supply rejection greater than 60 dB for frequencies as high as 100 kHz while operating with a low headroom voltage. The ADP222/ADP223/ADP224/ADP225 offer much lower noise performance than competing LDOs without the need for a noise bypass capacitor. Overcurrent and thermal protection circuitry prevent damage in adverse conditions. The ADP224 and ADP225 are identical to the ADP222 and ADP223, respectively, but with the addition of a quick output discharge (QOD) feature. The ADP222/ADP223/ADP224/ADP225 are available in a small 8-lead, 2 mm x 2 mm LFCSP package and are stable with tiny 1 μF, ±30% ceramic output capacitors, resulting in the smallest possible board area for a wide variety of portable power needs.APPLICATIONS Mobile phones Digital camera and audio devices Portable and battery-powered equipment Portable medical devices Post dc-to-dc regulation

ADP2370ACPZ-1.2-R7
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADP2370/ADP2371 are high efficiency, low quiescent current, 800 mA buck (step-down) dc-to-dc converters in small 8-lead, 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP (QFN) packages. The total solution requires only three tiny external components. The buck regulator uses a proprietary high speed current mode, constant frequency PWM control scheme for excellent stability and transient response. The need for an external rectifier is eliminated by using a high efficiency synchronous rectifier architecture. To ensure the longest battery life in portable applications, the ADP2370/ADP2371 employ a power saving variable frequency mode that reduces the switching frequency under light load conditions. The ADP2370/ADP2371 operate from input voltages of 3.2 V to 15 V allowing the use of multiple alkaline/NiMH, lithium cells, or other standard power sources. The ADP2370/ADP2371 offer multiple options for setting the operational frequency. The ADP2370/ADP2371 can be synchronized to a 600 kHz to 1.2 MHz external clock or it can be forced to operate at 600 kHz or 1.2 MHz via the FSEL pin. The ADP2370/ ADP2371 can be forced to operate in PWM mode (FPWM) when noise considerations are more important than efficiency.A power-good output is available to indicate when the output voltage is below 92% of its nominal value. The ADP2371 is identical to the ADP2370 except that the ADP2371 includes the addition of an integrated switched resistor, quick output discharge function (QOD) that automatically discharges the output when the device is disabled. Both devices include an internal power switch and a synchronous rectifier for minimal external part count and high efficiency. The ADP2370/ADP2371 also include internal soft start and internal compensation for ease of use.During a logic controlled shutdown, the input is disconnected from the output and the regulator draws less than 1.2 μA from the input source. Other key features include undervoltage lockout to prevent deep battery discharge and soft start to prevent input overcurrent at startup. Short-circuit protection and thermal overload protection circuits prevent damage under adverse conditions. The ADP2370/ADP2371 each use one 0805 capacitor, one 1206 capacitor, and one 4 mm × 4 mm inductor. The total solution size is about 53 mm2 resulting in a very small footprint solution to meet a variety of portable applications. ADM7172ACPZ-1.8-R7
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADM7172 is a CMOS, low dropout linear regulator (LDO) that operates from 2.3 V to 6.5 V and provides up to 2 A of output current. This high output current LDO is ideal for regulation of high performance analog and mixed-signal circuits operating from 6 V down to 1.2 V rails. Using an advanced proprietary architecture, the device provides high power supply rejection and low noise, and achieves excellent line and load transient response with just a small 4.7 µF ceramic output capacitor. Load transient response is typically 1.5 μs for a 1 mA to 1.5 A load step. The ADM7172 is available in 17 fixed output voltage options. The following voltages are available from stock: 1.3 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.0 V, 3.3 V, 4.2 V, and 5.0 V. Additional voltages that are available by special order are: 1.5 V, 1.85 V, 2.0 V, 2.2 V, 2.7 V, 2.75 V, 2.8 V, 2.85 V, 3.8 V, and 4.6 V. An adjustable version is also available that allows output voltages that range from 1.2 V to VIN − VDO with an external feedback divider.Inrush current can be controlled by adjusting the start-up time via the soft start pin. The typical start-up time with a 1 nF soft start capacitor is 1.0 ms.The ADM7172 regulator output noise is 5 μV rms, independent of the output voltage. The ADM7172 is available in an 8-lead, 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP, making it not only a very compact solution, but also providing excellent thermal performance for applications requiring up to 2 A of output current in a small, low profile footprint.Applications Regulation to noise sensitive applications: ADC and DAC circuits, precision amplifiers, PLLs/VCOs, and clocking ICs Communications and infrastructure Medical and healthcare Industrial and instrumentation
