The ADuM5000 is an isolated DC/DC converter based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. The DC/DC converter in this device provides regulated, isolated power in several combinations of input and output voltage as listed in Table 1.The Analog Devices chip-scale transformer iCoupler technology transfers isolated power in this DC/DC converter with up to 33% efficiency. The LT3080-1 is a 1.1A low dropout linear regulator that incorporates an internal ballast resistor to allow direct paralleling of devices without the need for PC board trace resistors. The internal ballast resistor allows multiple devices to be paralleled directly on a surface mount board for higher output current and power dissipation while keeping board layout simple and easy. The device brings out the collector of the pass transistor to allow low dropout operation—down to 350mV—when used with multiple input supplies. The LT3080-1 is capable of supplying a wide output voltage range. A reference current through a single resistor programs the output voltage to any level between zero and 36V. The LT3080-1 is stable with 2.2μF of ceramic capacitance on the output, not requiring additional ESR as is common with other regulators.Internal protection includes current limiting and thermal limiting. The LT3080-1 regulator is offered in the 8-lead MSOP (with an Exposed Pad for better thermal characteristics) and 3mm × 3mm DFN packages. The reference output will both source and sink up to 10mA and can be used as a shunt regulator (two terminal Zener) with the same precision characteristics as the three terminal connection. Special care has been taken to minimize thermal regulation effects and temperature induced hysteresis.The LT1031 reference is based on a buried Zener diode structure which eliminates noise and stability problems associated with surface breakdown devices. The REF01 / REF02 / REF03 series of precision voltage references provide a stable 10.0 V, 5.0 V, or 2.5 V output with minimal change in response to variations in supply voltage, ambient temperature or load conditions. The devices are available in 8-lead SOIC, PDIP, CERDIP, and TO-99 packages, as well as 20-terminal LCC packages (883 only), furthering the usability of the devices in both standard and high stress applications.With an external buffer and a simple resistor network, the TEMP terminal can be used for temperature sensing and approximation.
