The LTC4222 Hot Swap™ controller allows two power paths to be safely inserted and removed from a live backplane. Using external N-channel pass transistors, board supply voltages and inrush currents are ramped up at an adjustable rate. An I2C interface and on-board ADC allows for monitoring of current, voltage and fault status for each channel. The device features adjustable, analog, foldback current limit circuits and a Soft-Start circuit that sets the dI/dt of the inrush currents. An I2C interface may configure the part to latch off or automatically restart after the LTC4222 detects a fault on either channel. The AD588 represents a major advance in state-of-the-art monolithic voltage references. Low initial error and low temperature drift give the AD588 absolute accuracy performance previously not available in monolithic form. The AD588 uses a proprietary ion-implanted, buried Zener diode and laser-wafer drift trimming of high stability thin film resistors to provide outstanding performance.The AD588 includes the basic reference cell and three additional amplifiers that provide pin programmable output ranges. The amplifiers are laser trimmed for low offset and low drift to maintain the accuracy of the reference. The amplifiers are configured to allow Kelvin connections to the load and/or boosters for driving long lines or high current loads, delivering the full accuracy of the AD588 where it is required in the application circuit.The low initial error allows the AD588 to be used as a system reference in precision measurement applications requiring 12-bit absolute accuracy. In such systems, the AD588 can provide a known voltage for system calibration in software. The low drift also allows compensation for the drift of other components in a system. Manual system calibration and the cost of periodic recalibration can, therefore, be eliminated. Furthermore, the mechanical instability of a trimming potentiometer and the potential for improper calibration can be eliminated by using the AD588 in conjunction with auto calibration software.The AD588 is available in seven versions. The AD588JQ and AD588KQ are packaged in a 16-lead CERDIP and are specified for 0°C to +70°C operation. The AD588AQ and AD588BQ are packaged in a 16-lead CERDIP, and the AD588ARWZ is packaged in a 16-lead SOIC, and they are specified for the −25°C to +85°C industrial temperature range. The ceramic AD588TE and AD588TQ grades are specified for the full military/aerospace temperature range.Product HighlightsThe AD588 offers 12-bit absolute accuracy without any user adjustments. Optional fine-trim connections are provided for applications requiring higher precision. The fine trimming does not alter the operating conditions of the Zener or the buffer amplifiers, and so does not increase the temperature drift.Output noise of the AD588 is very low, typically 6 μV p-p. A pin is provided for additional noise filtering using an external capacitor.A precision ±5 V tracking mode with Kelvin output connections is available with no external components. Tracking error is less than 1 mV, and a fine trim is available for applications requiring exact symmetry between the +5 V and −5 V outputs.Pin strapping capability allows configuration of a wide variety of outputs: ±5 V, +5 V, +10 V, −5 V, and −10 V dual outputs or +5 V, −5 V, +10 V, and −10 V single outputs.

The ADP2302 / ADP2303 can run from an input voltage of 3.0 V to 20 V, which makes them suitable for a wide range of applications. The output voltage of the ADP2302 / ADP2303 can be down to 0.8 V for the adjustable version, while the fixed output version is available in preset output voltage options of 5.0 V, 3.3 V, and 2.5 V. The 700 kHz operatingfrequency allows small inductor and ceramic capacitors to be used, providing a compact solution. Current mode controlprovides fast and stable line and load transient performance. The ADP2302 / ADP2303 have integrated soft start circuitry toprevent a large inrush current at power-up. The power-good signal can be used to sequence devices that have an enable input.The precision enable threshold voltage allows the part to be easily sequenced from other input/output supplies. The LTM8031 is an electromagnetic compatible (EMC) 36V, 1A DC/DC μModule® (power module) buck converter designed to meet the radiated emissions requirements of EN55022. Conducted emission requirements can be met by adding standard filter components. Included in the package are the switching controller, power switches, inductor, filters and all support components. Operating over an input voltage range of 3.6V to 36V, the LTM8031 supports an output voltage range of 0.8V to 10V, and a switching frequency range of 200kHz to 2.4MHz, each set by a single resistor. No third winding or opto-isolator is required for regulation as the part senses the isolated output voltage directly from the primary-side flyback waveform.The LT3748 utilizes boundary mode to provide a small magnetic solution without compromising load regulation. Operating frequency is set by load current and transformer magnetizing inductance. The LT3472 dual channel switching regulator generates positive and negative outputs for biasing CCD imagers. The device delivers up to –8V at 50mA and 15V at 20mA from a lithium-ion cell, providing bias for many popular CCD imagers. Switching at 1.1MHz, the LT3472 uses tiny, low profile capacitors and inductors and generates low noise outputs that are easy to filter. Schottky diodes are internal and the output voltages are set with one resistor per channel, reducing external component count. The entire solution is less than 1mm profile and occupies just 50mm2.Internal sequencing circuitry disables the negative channel until the positive channel has reached 88% of its final value, ensuring that the sum of the two outputs is always positive. Write protection of CMOS RAM or EEPROM (ADM697).The ADM696 / ADM697 is fabricated using an advanced epitaxial CMOS process combining low power consumption (5 mW), extremely fast Chip Enable gating (5 ns) and high reliability. RESET assertion is guaranteed with VCC as low as 1 V. In addition, the power switching circuitry is designed for minimal voltage drop thereby permitting increased output current drive of up to 100 mA without the need for an external pass transistor.
