The LTC3423 and LTC3424 are high efficiency, fixed frequency, step-up DC/DC converters that can regulate output voltages as low as 1.5V from a single cell. An applied voltage of at least 2.7V to the VDD pin is required to power the internal control circuitry.The devices include a 0.16Ω N-channel MOSFET switch and a 0.21Ω P-channel synchronous rectifier. The LTC3423 is intended for applications requiring less than 0.75W of output power and the LTC3424 for 1.5W or less. Switching frequencies up to 3MHz are programmed with an external timing resistor and the oscillator can be synchronized to an external clock.Quiescent current is only 38µA in Burst Mode operation, maximizing battery life in portable applications. Burst Mode operation is user controlled and can be enabled by driving the MODE/SYNC pin high. The LTC2975 is a 4-channel Power System Manager used to sequence, trim (servo), margin, supervise, manage faults, provide telemetry and create fault logs. PMBus commands support power supply sequencing, precision point-of-load voltage adjustment and margining. DACs use a proprietary soft-connect algorithm to minimize supply disturbances. Supervisory functions include over and under current, voltage and temperature threshold limits for four power supply output channels as well as over and under voltage threshold limits for a single power supply input channel. The LTC3649 is a high efficiency 60V, 4A synchronous monolithic step-down regulator. The LTC4367 protects applications where power supply input voltages may be too high, too low or even negative. It does this by controlling the gate voltages of a pair of external N-channel MOSFETs to ensure that the output stays within a safe operating range.The LTC4367 withstands voltages between –40V and 100V and has an operating range of 2.5V to 60V, while consuming only 70μA in normal operation.Two comparator inputs allow configuration of the overvoltage (OV) and undervoltage (UV) set points using an external resistive divider. A shutdown pin provides external control for enabling and disabling the MOSFETs as well as placing the device in a low current shutdown state. A fault output indicates that the GATE pin is pulling low when the part is in shutdown or the input voltage is outside the UV and OV set points.The LTC4367 has a 32ms turn-on delay that debounces live connections and blocks 50Hz to 60Hz AC power.
