The HMC320MS8G(E) is a low cost C-band fixed gain Low Noise Amplifier (LNA). The HMC320MS8G(E) operates using a single positive supply that can be set between +3V and +5V. With +3V bias, the LNA provides a noise figure of 2.5dB, 12dB gain and better than 10dB return loss across the UNII band. The HMC320MS8G(E) also feature an adaptive baising that allows the user to select the optimal P1dB performance for their system using an external set resistor on the “RES” pin. P1dB performance can be set between a range of +1 dBm to +13dBm. The low cost LNA uses an 8-leaded MSOP ground base surface mount plastic package, which occupies less than 14.8mm².Applications UNII HiperLAN

HMC402MS8E

The HMC402MS8(E) is a high dynamic range passive MMIC mixers in plastic surface mount 8 lead Mini Small Outline Package (MSOP) covering 1.8 to 2.2 GHz. Excellent input IP3 performance of +31 dBm for down conversion and +27 dBm for up conversion is provided for 2.5G & 3G GSM/CDMA based UMTS or PCS applications at an LO drive of +17 dBm. With a 1dB compression of +21 dBm, the RF port will accept a wide range of input signal levels. Conversion loss is 8.5dB typical and LO isolations are maintained at 24 to 30 dB.This miniature single-ended monolithic GaAs FET mixer does not require any external components or bias. The broad 50 to 500 MHz IF frequency response will satisfy many UMTS/ PCS transmit or receive frequency plans con    i gured for high side LO. The HMC415LP3(E) is a high efficiency GaAs InGaP Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor (HBT) MMIC Power amplifier which operates between 4.9 and 5.9 GHz. The amplifier is packaged in a low cost, leadless surface mount package with an exposed base for improved RF and thermal performance. With a minimum of external components, the amplifier provides 20 dB of gain, +26 dBm of saturated power, and 34% PAE from a +3V supply voltage. Vpd can be used for full power down or RF output power/current control. This passive MMIC mixer integrates a GaAs Schottky diode quad, transformer baluns and a LO buffer on a single chip yielding a low conversion loss of 7 dB coupled with an input IP3 of +15 dBm. The LO buffer amplifier can be driven from 0 to +6 dBm and requires a single supply of +5V @ 46 mA. The HMC1018ALP4E is a broadband 5-bit GaAs IC digital attenuator in a low cost leadless surface mount package. Covering 0.1 to 30.0 GHz, the insertion loss is less than 5.5 dB typical. The attenuator bit values are 1.0 (LS B), 2, 4, 8, 16 for a total attenuation of 31 dB. Attenuation accuracy is excellent at ±0.4 dB typical step error with an IIP3 of +43 dBm. The control interface is CMOS/TTL compatible and accepts a three wire serial input.
