The HMC704 has been designed for the best phase noise and lowest spurious content possible in an integrated synthesizer. Fabricated in a SiGe BiCMOS process, this Fractional-N frequency synthesizer consists of a very low noise digital phase detector, VCO divider, reference divider and a precision controlled charge pump.Ultra low in-close phase noise and low spurious allows wide loop bandwidths for faster frequency hopping and low micro-phonics. The HMC834LP6GE is a low noise, wide band, Fractional-N Phase-Locked-Loop (PLL) that features an integrated Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) with a fundamental frequency of 2800 MHz - 4200 MHz, and an integrated VCO Output Divider (divide by 1/2/4/6.../60/62) and doubler, that together allow the HMC834LP6GE to generate frequencies from 45 MHz to 1050 MHz, from 1400 MHz to 2100 MHz, from 2800 MHz to 4200 MHz, and from 5600 MHz to 8400 MHz. The integrated Phase Detector (PD) and delta-sigma modulator, capable of operating at up to 100 MHz, permit wider loop-bandwidths with excellent spectral performance.The HMC834LP6GE features industry leading phase noise and spurious performance, across all frequencies, that enable it to minimize blocker effects, and improve receiver sensitivity and transmitter spectral purity. The HMC903LP3E is a self biased, gallium arsenide (GaAs), monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), pseudomorphic (pHEMT), low noise amplifier (LNA) with an option bias control for IDQ reduction. It is housed in a 16-lead, 3 mm × 3 mm, LFCSP package. The HMC903LP3E amplifier operates from 6 GHz to 17 GHz, providing 18.5 dB of small signal gain and 1.7 dB noise figure in the 6 GHz to 16 GHz band, and an output IP3 of 25 dBm full band 6 GHz to 17 GHz, while requiring only 80 mA from a 3.5 V supply.The P1dB output power of 14.5 dBm enables the LNA to function as a local oscillator (LO) driver for balanced, I/Q or image reject mixers. The wideband IF output uses external resistors to set the output impedance, allowing the flexibility to match directly into differential IF loads, such as filters and amplifiers. The part is characterized and specified with a 100Ω differential output impedance, although it can be used with output impedances ranging from 50Ω to 400Ω, with higher gain and reduced IIP3 and P1dB at the higher impedance levels. The IF output is usable up to 1.5GHz.In receiver applications, the high input P1dB and IIP3 allow the use of higher gain low noise amplifiers, resulting in higher receiver sensitivity. This passive monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) mixer is fabricated in a gallium arsenide (GaAs) metal semiconductor field effect transistor (MESFET) process and requires no external components or matching circuitry. The device can be used as an upconverter, downconverter, biphase demodulator, or phase comparator from 2.5 GHz to 7.0 GHz.The HMC219B provides excellent local oscillator (LO) to radio frequency (RF) isolation and LO to intermediate frequency (IF) isolation due to optimized balun structures.
