The ADXRS450 is an angular rate sensor (gyroscope) intended for industrial, medical, instrumentation, stabilization, and other high performance applications. An advanced, differential, quad sensor design rejects the influence of linear acceleration, enabling the ADXRS450 to operate in exceedingly harsh environments where shock and vibration are present.The ADXRS450 uses an internal, continuous self-test architecture. The integrity of the electromechanical system is checked by applying a high frequency electrostatic force to the sense structure to generate a rate signal that can be differentiated from the baseband rate data and internally analyzed.The ADXRS450 is capable of sensing angular rate of up to ±300°/sec. All temperature channels have programmable alert and overtemperature thresholds. The MAX9621 is a continuation of the Maxim family of Hall-effect sensor interfaces that already includes the MAX9921. The MAX9621 provides a single-chip solution to interface two 2-wire Hall-effect sensors to low voltage microprocessors (µP) through either a digital output for Hall-effect switches or an analog output for linear information or both.The MAX9621 protects the Hall sensors from supply transients up to 60V at the BAT supply. Normal operating supply voltage ranges from 5.5V to 18V. If the BAT supply rises above 18V, the MAX9621 shuts off the current to the Hall sensors. When a short-to-ground fault condition is detected, the current to the Hall input is shut off and the condition is indicated at the analog output by a zero-current level and a high digital output.The MAX9621 provides a minimum of 50µs blanking time following Hall sensor power-up or restart. The LM75 temperature sensor includes a delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter, and a digital overtemperature detector. The host can query the LM75 through itsI²C interface to read temperature at any time. The open-drain overtemperature output (OS) sinks current when the programmable temperature limit is exceeded. The OS output operates in either of two modes, comparatoror interrupt. The host controls the temperature at which the alarm is asserted (TOS) and the hysteresis temperature below which the alarm condition is not valid (THYST). Also, the LM75's TOS and THYST registers can be read by the host. The address of the LM75 is set with three pins to allow multiple devices to work on the same bus. Power-up is in comparator mode, with defaults of TOS = +80°C and THYST = +75°C.
