The DS75LV low-voltage (1.7V to 3.7V) digital thermometer and thermostat provides 9-, 10-, 11-, or 12-bit digital temperature readings over a -55°C to +125°C range with ±2°C accuracy over a -25°C to +100°C range. At power-up, the DS75LV defaults to 9-bit resolution for software compatibility with the LM75. Communication with the DS75LV is achieved through a simple 2-wire serial interface. The DS75LV thermostat has a dedicated open-drain output (O.S.) and programmable fault tolerance, which allows the user to define the number of consecutive error conditions that must occur before O.S is activated. The DS1621 Digital Thermometer and Thermostat provides 9-bit temperature readings, which indicate the temperature of the device. The thermal alarm output, TOUT is active when the temperature of the device exceeds a user-defined temperature TH. The output remains active until the temperature drops below user defined temperature TL, allowing for any hysteresis necessary.User-defined temperature settings are stored in nonvolatile memory so parts may be programmed prior to insertion in a system. The DS1626 and DS1726 digital thermometers/thermostats provide temperature measurements and stand-alone thermostat capability over a -55°C to +125°C range. The DS1626 offers ±0.5°C accuracy from 0°C to +70°C and the DS1726 has ±1°C accuracy from -10°C to +85°C. The resolution of the measured temperature is user selectable from 9 to 12 bits. The DS1631, DS1631A, and DS1731 digital thermometers provide 9, 10, 11, or 12-bit temperature readings over a -55°C to +125°C range. The DS1631 and DS1631A thermometer accuracy is ±0.5°C from 0°C to +70°C with 3.0V ≤ VDD ≤ 5.5V, and the DS1731 accuracy is ±1°C from -10°C to +85°C with 3.0V ≤ VDD ≤ 5.5V. The DS18B20 digital thermometer provides 9-bit to 12-bit Celsius temperature measurements and has an alarm function with nonvolatile user-programmable upper and lower trigger points. The DS18B20 communicates over a 1-Wire bus that by definition requires only one data line (and ground) for communication with a central microprocessor. In addition, the DS18B20 can derive power directly from the data line ('parasite power'), eliminating the need for an external power supply.Each DS18B20 has a unique 64-bit serial code, which allows multiple DS18B20s to function on the same 1-Wire bus.
