The ADL5246 is a high performance, low noise variable gain amplifier (VGA) optimized for multistandard base station receivers and point to point receive (Rx) and transmit (Tx) applications. The low noise figure and excellent linearity performance allow the device to be used in a variety of applications.The device consists of a low noise amplifier, a high linearity VGA, and a ½ W output driver stage. The variable attenuator networks are optimized to provide high linearity performance over the 45 dB gain control range. Gain is set using a unipolar control voltage from 0 V to 3.3 V. The output stage of the ADL5246 is an externally tuned ½ W driver amplifier, which allows the device to be optimized anywhere between the 0.6 GHzto 3 GHz range, with an average tuning bandwidth of 200 MHz wide. An external filter can be used between the VGA and the final driver amplifier. The ADL5246 can be biased between 3.3 V and 5 V to tradeoff between performance and power consumption.The ADL5246 is fabricated on an advanced GaAs process. The ADM2795E is a 5 kV rms signal isolated RS-485 transceiver that features up to ±42 V of ac/dc peak bus overvoltage fault protection on the RS-485 bus pins. The device integrates Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology to combine a 3-channel isolator, RS-485transceiver, and IEC electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) transient protection in a single package. The ADM2795E is aRS-485/RS-422 transceiver that integrates IEC 61000-4-5 Level 4surge protection, allowing up to ±4 kV protection on the RS-485bus pins (A and B). The device has IEC 61000-4-4 Level 4 EFTprotection up to ±2 kV and IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD protection on the bus pins, allowing this device to withstand up to ±15 kV on the transceiver interface pins without latching up. This device has an extended common-mode input range of ±25 V to improve data communication reliability in noisy environments. TheADM2795E is capable of operating over wide power supply ranges, with a 1.7 V to 5.5 V VDD1 power supply range, allowing interfacing to low voltage logic supplies. The ADM2795E is also fully TIA/EIA RS-485/RS-422 compliant when operated over a3 V to 5.5 V VDD2 power supply. This high output current LDO is ideal for regulation of high performance analog and mixed-signal circuits operating from 6 V down to 1.2 V rails. Using an advanced proprietary architecture, the device provides high power supply rejection and low noise, and achieves excellent line and load transient response with just a small 4.7 µF ceramic output capacitor. Load transient response is typically 1.5 μs for a 1 mA to 1.5 A load step.The ADM7172 is available in 17 fixed output voltage options. The following voltages are available from stock: 1.3 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.0 V, 3.3 V, 4.2 V, and 5.0 V. Additional voltages that are available by special order are: 1.5 V, 1.85 V, 2.0 V, 2.2 V, 2.7 V, 2.75 V, 2.8 V, 2.85 V, 3.8 V, and 4.6 V. The ADN88341 is a monolithic TEC controller with an integrated TEC controller. It has a linear power stage, a pulse-width modulation (PWM) power stage, and two zero-drift, rail-to-rail operational amplifiers. The linear controller works with the PWM driver to control the internal power MOSFETs in an H-bridge configuration. By measuring the thermal sensor feedback voltage and using the integrated operational amplifiers as a proportional integral differential (PID) compensator to condition the signal, the ADN8834 drives current through a TEC to settle the temperature of a laser diode or a passive component attached to the TEC module to the programmed target temperature.The ADN8834 supports negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistors as well as positive temperature coefficient (PTC) resistive temperature detectors (RTD). The target temperature is set as an analog voltage input either from a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) or from an external resistor divider.The temperature control loop of the ADN8834 is stabilized by PID compensation utilizing the built in, zero drift chopper amplifiers. The internal 2.50 V reference voltage provides a 1% accurate output that is used to bias a thermistor temperature sensing bridge as well as a voltage divider network to program the maximum TEC current and voltage limits for both the heating and cooling modes.
