AD8018ARZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8018 is a dual, high speed, low cost amplifier capable of driving low distortion signals to within 0.5 V of the supply rail. It is intended for use in single supply xDSL systems where low distortion and low cost is essential, and maximum reach on the line must be attained with the minimum of supply voltages. Each amplifier drives minimum 350 mA of output current and while maintaining -95 dBc of SFDR at 100 kHz, outstanding performance for any xDSL CPE application. The AD8018 is available with flexible standby and shutdown modes. Two bit control (1.5 V threshold referenced to DGND) will put the AD8018 into a full power standby (outputs low impedance) and shutdown (outputs high impedance).Fabricated in ADI's high speed XFCB process, the high bandwidth and fast slew rate of the AD8018 keep distortion to a minimum, while dissipating a minimum of power. The quiescent current of the AD8018 is low 9 mA/amplifier max. Low distortion, high output voltage drive, and high output current drive in small packages make the AD8018 ideal for use in low cost USB, PCMCIA and PCI Customer Premise Equipment for ADSL, SDSL, VDSL and proprietary xDSL systems. An evaluation board is available for this product and may be ordered using the following product number AD8018ARU-EVAL.

The LTC2801/LTC2802/LTC2803/LTC2804 are single and dual RS-232 transceivers in narrow SSOP and chip-scale DFN packages. All operate over a supply range of 1.8V to 5.5V, which permits operation directly from two alkaline, NiCd or NiMH cells. An integrated DC-to-DC converter generates power supplies for driving RS-232 levels. A logic supply pin allows easy interfacing with different logic levels independent of the DC-DC supply. These parts are compatible with the TIA/EIA-232-F standard. Driver outputs are protected from overload and can be shorted to ground or up to ±15V without damage. To extend battery life, receivers can be kept active, operating at reduced speed, with only 15μA current. In shutdown mode, current is further reduced to 1μA. The LTC2484 combines a 24-bit No Latency ΔΣ™ analog-to-digital converter with patented Easy Drive™ technology. The patented sampling scheme eliminates dynamic input current errors and the shortcomings of on-chip buffering through automatic cancellation of differential input current. This allows large external source impedances and input signals with rail-to-rail input range to be directly digitized while maintaining exceptional DC accuracy. The LTC2484 includes an on-chip oscillator. The LTC2484 can be configured to reject line frequencies. 50Hz, 60Hz or simultaneous 50Hz/60Hz line frequency rejection can be selected as well as a 2× speed-up mode. The LTC2484 allows a wide common mode input range (0V to VCC) independent of the reference voltage. The reference can be as low as 100mV or can be tied directly to VCC. The LTC2484 includes an on-chip trimmed oscillator, eliminating the need for external crystals or oscillators. Absolute accuracy and low drift are automatically maintained through continuous, transparent, offset and full-scale calibration.Applications Direct Sensor Digitizer Weight Scales Direct Temperature Measurement Strain Gauge Transducers Instrumentation Industrial Process Control DVMs and Meters

AD797ARZ-REEL7

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD797 is a very low noise, low distortion operational amplifier ideal for use as a preamplifier. The low noise of 0.9 nV√Hz and low total harmonic distortion of -120 dB at audio bandwidths give the AD797 the wide dynamic range necessary for preamps in microphones and mixing consoles.Furthermore, the AD797's excellent slew rate of 20 V/µs and 110 MHz gain bandwidth make it highly suitable for low frequency ultrasound applications. The AD797 is also useful in IR and Sonar Imaging applications where the widest dynamic range is necessary. The low distortion and 16-bit settling time of the AD797 make it ideal for buffering the inputs to Sigma Delta ADCs or the outputs of high resolution DACs especially when they are used in critical applications such as seismic detection and spectrum analyzers. Key features such as a 50 mA output current drive and the specified power supply voltage range of ±5 to ±15 volts make the AD797 an excellent general purpose amplifier.APPLICATIONS Professional audio preamplifiers IR, CCD, and sonar imaging systems Spectrum analyzers Ultrasound preamplifiers Seismic detectors Σ-Δ ADC/DAC buffers

AD7992BRMZ-1

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7992 is a 12-bit, low power, successive approximation ADC with an I2 C-compatible interface. The part operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V power supply and features a 2 µs conversion time. The part contains a 2-channel multiplexer and track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies up to 11 MHz. The AD7992 provides a 2-wire serial interface compatible with I2C interfaces. The part comes in two versions, the AD7992-0 and the AD7992-1, and each version allows for at least two different I2C addresses. The AD7992-0 supports standard and fast I2C interface modes, and the AD7992-1 supports standard, fast, and high speed I2C interface modes. The AD7992 normally remains in a shutdown state while not converting, and powers up only for conversions. The conversion process can be controlled using the CONVST pin, by a command mode where conversions occur across I2C write operations, or an automatic conversion interval mode selected through software control. The AD7992 requires an external reference in the range of 1.2 V to VDD. This allows the widest dynamic input range to the ADC. On-chip limit registers can be programmed with high and low limits for the conversion result, and an open-drain, out-of-range indicator output (ALERT) becomes active when the conversion result violates the programmed high or low limits. This output can be used as an interrupt.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS 2 µs conversion time and low power consumption. I2C-compatible serial interface with pin-selectable addresses. Two AD7992 versions allow five AD7992 devices to be connected to the same serial bus. The part features automatic shutdown while not converting to maximize power efficiency. Current consumption is 1 µA max when in shutdown mode at 3 V. Reference can be driven up to the power supply. Out-of-range indicator that can be software disabled or enabled. One-shot and automatic conversion rates. Registers store minimum and maximum conversion results.

AD8040ARZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8040 is a quad, rail-to-rail input and output high speed amplifier with a quiescent current of only 1.3 mA per amplifier. Despite its low power consumption, the amplifier provides excellent performance with 125MHz small signal bandwidth and 60 V/µs slew rate. ADI's proprietary XFCB process enables high speed and high performance on low power. This amplifier exhibits true single-supply operation with rail-to-rail input and output performance for supply voltages ranging from 2.7V to 12V. The input voltage range extends 200 mV beyond each rail without phase reversal. The dynamic range of the output extends to within 40 mV of each rail. The AD8040 provides excellent signal quality with minimal power dissipation. At G=+1, SFDR is -72dBc at 1MHz and settling time to 0.1% is only 80 ns. Low distortion and fast settling performance makes this amplifier a suitable driver for single-supply A/D converters. The versatility of the AD8040 allows the user to operate the amplifier on a wide range of supplies while consuming less than 6.5 mW of power. This feature extends the operation time in applications ranging from battery-powered systems with large bandwidth requirements to high speed systems where component density requires lower power dissipation. The amplifier is rated over the extended industrial temperature range, -40°C to +125°C.
