EVAL-ADF7020DBZ1
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADF7020 is a low power, low-IF transceiver designed for operation in the license-free ISM bands at 433MHz, 868MHz and 915MHz. It is suitable for circuit applications that meet either the European ETSI EN-300-220 or the North American FCC, Part 15.247 and 15.249 regulatory standards. It operates from a 2.3 V to 3.6V power supply with programmable output power from -16 to +13dBm in 0.3dBm steps. Its receiver sensitivity is -117.5dBm at 1kbits/s in FSK mode or -110.5dBm at 9.6kbits/s. Power consumption is 20mA in receive mode and 30mA in transmit mode (+10dBm output).Other features include on-chip VCO (voltage controlled oscillator), Fractional-N PLL, on-chip 7-bit ADC (analog-to-digital converter), digital received signal strength indication (RSSI), temperature sensor and a patent pending fully automatic AFC loop. This allows the ADF7020 to be used with lower tolerance crystals. Its leakage current is < 1uA in power down mode. This device is suitable for circuit applications that meet the European ETSI-300-220, the North American FCC (Part 15), or the Chinese Short Range Device regulatory standards. A complete transceiver can be built using a small number of external discrete components, making the ADF7020 very suitable for price-sensitive and area-sensitive applications. The transmitter block on the ADF7020 contains a VCO and low noise fractional-N PLL with an output resolution of <1 ppm. This frequency agile PLL allows the ADF7020 to be used in frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) systems. The VCO operates at twice the fundamental frequency to reduce spurious emissions and frequency-pulling problems. The transmitter output power is programmable in 0.3 dB steps from −16 dBm to +13 dBm. The transceiver RF frequency and modulation are programmable using a simple 3-wire interface. The device operates with a power supply range of 2.3 V to 3.6 V and can be powered down when not in use.A low IF architecture is used in the receiver (200 kHz), minimizing power consumption and the external component count and avoiding interference problems at low frequencies. The ADF7020 supports a wide variety of programmable features, including Rx linearity, sensitivity, and IF bandwidth, allowing the user to trade off receiver sensitivity and selectivity against current consumption, depending on the application. The receiver also features a patent-pending automatic frequency control (AFC) loop, allowing the PLL to track out the frequency error in the incoming signal. An on-chip ADC provides readback of an integrated temperature sensor, an external analog input, the battery voltage, or the RSSI signal, which provides savings on an ADC in some applications. The temperature sensor is accurate to ±10°C over the full operating temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. This accuracy can be improved by doing a 1-point calibration at room temperature and storing the result in memory.APPLICATIONS Low cost wireless data transfer Remote control/security systems Wireless metering Keyless entry Home automation Process and building control Wireless voice

ADE7757ARNZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADE7757 is an accurate electrical energy measurement integrated circuit. It is a pin reduction version of ADE7755 with an enhancement of a precise oscillator circuit that serves as a clock source to the chip. The ADE7757 eliminates the cost of an external crystal or resonator, thus reducing the overall cost of a meter built with this IC. The chip directly interfaces with shunt resistor. The ADE7757 provides instantaneous and average real power based on line current and voltage. The part specifications surpass the accuracy requirements as quoted in the IEC61036 standard. The only analog circuitry used in the ADE7757 is in the ADCs and reference circuit. All other signal processing (e.g., multiplication and filtering) is carried out in the digital domain. This approach provides superior stability and accuracy over extremes in environmental conditions and over time. The small analog input full-scale allows the chip to interface to low value shunt resistances without losing dynamic range. The ADE7757 is available in 16-lead SOIC narrow-body package. The Application Note AN-679 can be used as a basis for a description of an IEC61036 low cost, watt-hour meter reference design.NOTE: For polyphase system designs, the ADE7752A is recommended.

ADG3304BRUZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADG3304 is a bidirectional logic level translator that contains four bidirectional channels. It can be used in multivoltage digital system applications such as data transfer between a low voltage DSP/controller and a higher voltage device using SPI and MICROWIRE interfaces. The internal architecture allows the device to perform bidirectional logic level translation without an additional signal to set the direction in which the translation takes place. The voltage applied to VCCA sets the logic levels on the A side of the device, while VCCY sets the levels on the Y side. For proper operation, VCCA must always be less than VCCY. The VCCA-compatible logic signals applied to the A side of the device appear as VCCY-compatible levels on the Y side. Similarly, VCCY-compatible logic levels applied to the Y side of the device appear as VCCA-compatible logic levels on the A side. The enable pin (EN) provides three-state operation on both the A-side and the Y-side pins. When the EN pin is pulled low, the terminals on both sides of the device are in the high impedance state. The EN pin is referred to the VCCA supply voltage and driven high for normal operation. The ADG3304 is available in compact 14-lead TSSOP, 12-ball WLCSP and 20-lead LFCSP. It is guaranteed to operate over the 1.15 V to 5.5 V supply voltage range.Supports defense and aerospace applications (AQEC standard).Applications SPI, MICROWIRE level translation Low voltage ASIC level translation Smart card readers Cell phones and cell phone cradles Portable communication devices Telecommunications equipment Network switches and routers Storage systems (SAN/NAS) Computing/server applications GPS Portable POS systems Low cost serial interfaces

ADG704BRMZ-REEL7
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADG704 is a CMOS analog multiplexer, comprising four single channels. This multiplexer is designed on an advanced submicron process that provides low power dissipation yet gives high switching speed, low on resistance, low leakage currents and high bandwidths. The on resistance profile is very flat over the full analog signal range. This ensures excellent linearity and low distortion when switching audio signals. Fast switching speed also makes the part suitable for video signal switching. The ADG704 can operate from a single supply range of +1.8 V to +5.5 V, making it ideal for use in battery powered instruments and with the new generation of DACs and ADCs from Analog Devices. The ADG704 switches one of four inputs to a common output, D, as determined by the 3-bit binary address lines, A0, A1 and EN. A Logic “0” on the EN pin disables the device. Each switch of the ADG704 conducts equally well in both directions when ON. The ADG704 exhibits break-before-make switching action. The ADG704 is available in 10-lead µSOIC package.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS +1.8 V to +5.5 V Single Supply Operation. The ADG704 offers high performance and is fully specified and guaranteed with +3 V and +5 V supply rails. Very Low RON (4.5 Ω Max at 5 V, 8 Ω Max at 3 V). At supply voltage of +1.8 V, RON is typically 35 Ω over the temperature range. Low On-Resistance Flatness. –3 dB Bandwidth Greater than 200 MHz. 5. Low Power Dissipation. CMOS construction ensures low power dissipation. Fast tON/tOFF. Break-Before-Make Switching Action. 8. 10-Lead µSOIC Package.
