ADM483EARZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADM483E is a 5 V, low power data transceiver with ±15 kV ESD protection suitable for half-duplex communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. The ADM483E is designed for balanced data transmission and complies with TIA/EIA Standards RS-485 and RS-422, which allow up to 32 transceivers on a bus.The ADM483E has a low current shutdown mode in which it consumes only 0.1 μA. Because only one driver is enabled at any time, the output of a disabled or power-down driver is three-stated to avoid overloading the bus. Drivers are short-circuit current-limited and are protected against excessive power dissipation by thermal shutdown circuitry that places their outputs into a high impedance state. The receiver input has a fail-safe feature that guarantees a logic high output if the input is open circuit. The ADM483E is fully specified over the industrial temperature ranges and is available in 8-lead SOIC_N packages. APPLICATIONS Low power RS-485 systems Electrically harsh environments EMI sensitive applications DTE-DCE interface Packet switching Local area networks

OP42FZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The OP-42 is a fast precision JFET-input operational amplifier.Similar in speed to the OP-17, the OP-42 offers a symmetric 58V/µs slew rate and is internally compensated for unity-gain operation. OP-42 speed is achieved with a supply current of less than 6mA. Unity gain stability, a wide full-power bandwidth of 900kHz, and a fast settling-time of 800ns to 0.01% make the OP-42 an ideal output amplifier for fast digital-to-analog converters. Equal attention was given to both speed and precision in the OP-42 design. Its tight 750µV maximum input offset voltage combined with well-controlled drift of less than 10µV/%C eliminates the need for external nulling in many circuits. The common-mode rejection of the 88dB minimum over a ±11 V input voltage range is exceptional for a high-speed amplifier. High CMR combined with a minimum 500V/mV gain into 10k(ohm) load ensure excellent linearity in both noninverting and inverting gain configurations. The low input bias and offset currents provided by the JFET input stage suit the OP-42 for use in high-speed sample and hold circuits, peak detectors, and log amplifiers. Excellent radiation hardness characteristics make the OP-42 ideal for military and aerospace applications. The OP-42 conforms to the standard 741 pinout with nulling to V-. The OP-42 upgrades the performance of circuits using the AD544, AD611, AD711, and LF400 by direct replacement. In circuits without nulling, the OP-42 offers an upgrade for designs using the OP-16, OP-17, LT1022, LT1056, and HA2510.

AD561JNZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD561 is an integrated circuit 10-bit digital-to-analog converter combined with a high stability voltage reference fabricated on a single monolithic chip. Using ten precision high-speed current-steering switches, a control amplifier, voltage reference, and laser-trimmed thin-film SiCr resistor network, the device produces a fast, accurate analog output current. Laser trimmed output application resistors are also included to facilitate accurate, stable current-to-voltage conversion; they are trimmed to 0.1% accuracy, thus eliminating external trimmers in many situations. Several important technologies combine to make the AD561 the most accurate and most stable 10-bit DAC available. The low temperature coefficient, high stability thin-film network is trimmed at the wafer level by a fine resolution laser system to 0.01% typical linearity. This results in an accuracy specification of ±1/4 LSB max for the K and T versions, and 1/2 LSB max for the J and S versions. The AD561 also incorporates a low noise, high stability subsurface zener diode to produce a reference voltage with excellent long term stability and temperature cycle characteristics, which challenge the best discrete Zener references. A temperature compensation circuit is laser-trimmed to allow custom correction of the temperature coefficient of each device. This results in a typical full-scale temperature coefficient of 15 ppm/°C; the TC is tested and guaranteed to 30 ppm/°C max for the K and T versions, 60 ppm/°C max for the S, and 80 ppm/°C for the J. The AD561 is available in four performance grades. The AD561J and K are specified for use over the 0°C to +70°C temperature range and are available in either a 16-pin hermetically-sealed ceramic DIP or a 16-pin molded plastic DIP.
