The ADF7021-V is a high performance, low power, narrow-band RF transceiver based on the ADF7021-N. The architecture of the ADF7021-V transceiver is similar to that of the ADF7021-N except that an external VCO is used by the on-chip RF synthesizer for applications that require improved phase noise performance.The ADF7021-V is designed to operate in both the license-free ISM bands and in the licensed bands from 80 MHz to 960 MHz.To minimize RF feedthrough and spurious emissions, the external VCO operates at 2? or 4? the desired RF frequency; the ADF7021-V supports a maximum VCO frequency operation of 1920 MHz. The 4? VCO operation is programmable by enabling an additional on-chip divide-by-2 outside the RF synthesizer loop and offers improved phase noise performance.As with the ADF7021-N receiver, the IF filter bandwidths of 9 kHz, 13.5 kHz, and 18.5 kHz are supported, making the ADF7021-V ideally suited to worldwide narrow-band telemetry applications.The part has both Gaussian and raised cosine transmit data filtering options to improve spectral efficiency for narrow-band applications. The receive and transmit synthesizer bandwidths are automatically, and independently, configured to achieve optimum phase noise, modulation quality, and settling time. The transmitter output power is programmable from ?20 dBm to +13.5 dBm, with automatic PA ramping to meet transient spurious specifications. The part possesses both single-ended and differential PAs, which allows for Tx antenna diversity.The receiver is exceptionally linear, achieving an IP3 specification of ?12.2 dBm and ?11.5 dBm at maximum gain and minimum gain, respectively, and an IP2 specification of 18.5 dBm and 27 dBm at maximum gain and minimum gain, respectively. The receiver achieves an interference blocking specification of 66 dB at ?2 MHz offset and 74 dB at ?10 MHz offset. Thus, the part is extremely resilient to the presence of interferers in spectrally noisy environments. The receiver features a novel, high speed, automatic frequency control (AFC) loop, allowing the PLL to find and correct any RF frequency errors in the recovered packet.A patent pending, image rejection calibration scheme is available through a program download. The algorithm does not require the use of an external RF source nor does it require any user intervention once initiated. TheADG4613 has two switches with digital control logic similar tothat of the ADG4612; the logic is inverted on the other twoswitches. Each switch conducts equally well in both directionswhen on and has an input signal range that extends to thesupplies. The ADG4613 exhibits break-before-make switchingaction for use in multiplexer applications.When no power supplies are present the switch remains in theOFF condition and the switch inputs are high impedanceinputs. This ensures that no current flows that may damage theswitch. This is very useful in application where analog signalsmay be present at the switch inputs before power or where theuser has no control over the Power Supply Sequence.In the off condition, signal levels up to 16V are blocked. The ADG5412F and ADG5413F contain four independently controlled single-pole/single-throw (SPST) switches. The ADG5412F has four switches that turn on with Logic 1 inputs. The ADG5413F has two switches with that turn on and two switches that turn off with Logic 1 inputs. Each switch conducts equally well in both directions when on, and each switch has an input signal range that extends to the supplies. The digital inputs are compatible with 3 V logic inputs over the full operating supply range.When no power supplies are present, the switch remains in the off condition, and the switch inputs are high impedance. Under normal operating conditions, if the analog input signal levels on any Sx pin exceed VDD or VSS by a threshold voltage, VT, then the switch turns off. ADPD1080 Evaluation Board, optimized for motion detection and long range proximity/presence detection applications

The EVAL-ADPD1080Z-PRX evaluation kit provides users with a simple means of connecting with the ADPD1080 hardware, collecting data from the ADPD1080, and evaluating long range proximity capabilities. The ADPD1080 hardware is configured with a large area, p-type, intrinsic, n-type (PIN) semiconductor photodiode as a proximity sensor. In this configuration, motion and proximity in front of the EVAL-ADPD1080Z-PRX are measured by detecting the amount of infrared (IR) light reflected off of objects and the change in IR light as objects move relative to the EVAL-ADPD1080Z-PRX. The evaluation kit requires the EVAL-ADPDM3Z and the Applications Wavetool, which can be downloaded from the EVAL-ADPD1080Z-PRX product page. The Applications Wavetool is a graphical user interface (GUI) that provides users with low level and high level configurability, real-time data analysis, and user datagram protocol (UDP) transfer capabilities so that the evaluation board can easily connect to a PC. The USB port of the PC powers the EVAL-ADPDM3Z and the EVAL-ADPD1080Z-PRX. On-board voltage regulators provide voltage supplies for the ADPD1080. The evaluation board schematic indicates signal names for easy identification. Full specifications for the ADPD1080 are available in the ADPD1080 data sheet.
