The AD7719 is a complete analog front-end for low frequency measurement applications. It contains two high-resolution sigma delta ADCs, switchable matched excitation current sources, low-side power switches, digital I/O port and temperature sensor. The 24-bit mainchannel with PGA accepts fully differential, unipolar and bipolar input signal ranges from REFIN1/128 to REFIN1. Signals can be converted directly from a transducer without the need for signal conditioning. The 16-bit aux channel does not have a PGA and has an input signal range of REFIN2 or REFIN2/2.

The AD7761 is an 8-channel, simultaneous sampling sigma-delta (?-?) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a ?-? modulator and digital filter per channel, enabling synchronized sampling of ac and dc signals.The AD7761 achieves 97.7 dB dynamic range at a maximum input bandwidth of 110.8 kHz, combined with typical performance of ?1 LSB integral nonlinearity (INL), ?1 LSB offset error, and ?5 LSB gain error.The AD7761 user can trade off input bandwidth, output data rate, and power dissipation. Select one of three power modes to optimize the device for noise targets and power consumption. The flexibility of the AD7761 allows it to become a reusable platform for low power dc and high performance ac measurement modules.The AD7761 has three modes: fast mode (256 kSPS maximum, 110.8 kHz input bandwidth, 51.5 mW per channel), median mode (128 kSPS maximum, 55.4 kHz input bandwidth, 27.5 mW per channel) and low power mode (32 kSPS maximum, 13.8 kHz input bandwidth, 9.375 mW per channel).The AD7761 offers extensive digital filtering capabilities, such as a wideband, low ?0.005 dB pass-band ripple, antialiasing low-pass filter with sharp roll-off, and 105 dB attenuation at the Nyquist frequency.Frequency domain measurements can use the wideband linear phase filter. This filter has a flat pass band (?0.005 dB ripple) from dc to 102.4 kHz at 256 kSPS, from dc to 51.2 kHz at 128 kSPS, or from dc to 12.8 kHz at 32 kSPS.The AD7761 also offers sinc response via a sinc5 filter, a low latency path for low bandwidth, and low noise measurements.The wideband and sinc5 filters can be selected and run on a per channel basis.Within these filter options, the user can improve the dynamic range by selecting from decimation rates of ?32, ?64, ?128, ?256, ?512, and ?1024. The ability to vary the decimation filtering optimizes noise performance to the required input bandwidth.Embedded analog functionality on each ADC channel makes design easier, such as a precharge buffer on each analog input that reduces analog input current and a precharge reference buffer per channel reduces input current and glitches on the reference input terminals.The device operates with a 5 V AVDD1A and AVDD1B supply, a 2.25 V to 5.0 V AVDD2A and AVDD2B supply, and a 2.5 V to 3.3 V or 1.8 V IOVDD supply (see the 1.8 V IOVDD Operation section for specific requirements for operating at 1.8 V IOVDD).The device requires an external reference; the absolute input reference voltage range is 1 V to AVDD1 ? AVSS.For the purposes of clarity within this data sheet, the AVDD1A and AVDD1B supplies are referred to as AVDD1 and the AVDD2A and AVDD2B supplies are referred to as AVDD2. The AD7780 is a complete low power front-end solution for bridge sensor products, including weigh scales, strain gages, and pressure sensors. It contains a precision, low power, 24-bit sigma-delta (?-?) ADC; an on-chip, low noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA); and an on-chip oscillator.Consuming only 330 ?A, the AD7780 is particularly suitable for portable or battery-operated products where very low power is required. The AD7780 also has a power-down mode that allows the user to switch off the power to the bridge sensor and power down the AD7780 when not converting, thus increasing the battery life of the product.For ease of use, all the features of the AD7780 are controlled by dedicated pins. Each time a data read occurs, eight status bits are appended to the 24-bit conversion. These status bits contain a pattern sequence that can be used to confirm the validity of the serial transfer.The on-chip PGA has a gain of 1 or 128, supporting a full-scale differential input of ?5 V or ?39 mV. The device has two filter response options. The filter response at the 16.7 Hz update rate provides superior dynamic performance. The settling time is 120 ms at this update rate. At the 10 Hz update rate, the filter response provides greater than ?45 dB of stop-band attenuation. In load cell applications, this stop-band rejection is useful to reject low frequency mechanical vibrations of the load cell. The settling time is 300 ms at this update rate. Simultaneous 50 Hz/60 Hz rejection occurs at both the 10 Hz and 16.7 Hz update rates.The AD7780 operates with a power supply from 2.7 V to 5.25 V. Demonstration circuit 2989A features the LTM4657 µModule® regulator, a high performance, high efficiency step-down regulator. The LTM4657 is a complete DC/DC point-of-load regulator in a thermally enhanced 6.25mm x 6.25mm x 3.87mm BGA package. The LTM4657 has an operating input voltage range of 3.1V to 20V and provides an output current up to 8A. The output voltage is programmable from 0.6V to 5.5V and can be remotely sensed. The stacked inductor design improves thermal dissipation and significantly reduces the package area.
Output voltage tracking is available through the TRACK/SS pin for supply rail sequencing. External clock synchronization is available through the SYNC/MODE pin. For high efficiency at low load currents, select DCM mode operation using the MODE jumper (JP7) in less noise sensitive applications. The LTM4657 data sheet must be read in conjunction with this demo manual for working on or modifying DC2989A.

Demonstration circuit 2991A features the LTC3308A 5V, 4A synchronous step-down Silent Switcher® operating as a 2.0MHz, 3.3V to 1.2V 4A buck regulator. The LTC3308A supports adjustable output voltages from 0.5V to VIN with operating frequencies from 1MHz up to 3MHz. The LTC3308A is a compact, ultralow emission, high efficiency, and high speed synchronous monolithic stepdown switching regulator. A minimum on-time switching of 22ns enables high VIN to low VOUT conversion ratios at high frequencies.
The DC2991A operating mode may be selected as BURST, SKIP or Forced Continuous (FC) mode. Setting JP1 to the FC/SYNC position will allow the LTC3308A to sync to a clock frequency from 1MHz to 3MHz. The LTC3308A operates in forced continuous mode when syncing to an external clock. The DC2991A is set to a fixed 2MHz frequency by connecting RT to VIN through a 0Ω resistor, R9. The frequency can be easily changed by removing R9 and setting an appropriate resistor in the R4 location to obtain the desired frequency. Refer to the LTC3308A data sheet for the proper RT value for a desired switching frequency.
The DC2991A also has an EMI filter to reduce conducted EMI. This EMI filter can be included by applying the input voltage at the VIN EMI terminal. The EMI performance of the board is shown in the EMI Test Results section. The red lines in the EMI performance graphs illustrate the CISPR25 Class 5 peak limits for the conducted and radiated emission tests.
The LTC3308A data sheet gives a complete description of the device, operation and application information. The data sheet must be read in conjunction with this demo manual. The LTC3308A is assembled in a 2mm × 2mm LQFN package with exposed pads for low thermal resistance. The layout recommendations for low EMI operation and maximum thermal performance are available in the data sheet section: Low EMI PCB Layout.
The Efficiency vs Load graph shows the efficiency and the power loss of the circuit with a 3.3V input in Burst Mode operation.

Demonstration circuit 3145A demonstrates a high efficiency thermoelectric cooler driver and features the LT8722 monolithic driver.
The input voltage range of the DC3145A is from 3.1V to 15V and the output is a SPI programmable differential voltage output. The maximum output current is 4A. The switching frequency SPI programmable from 500kHz to 3MHz.
The LT8722 is controlled through an SPI interface and therefore the demonstration circuit is also setup to interface through SPI. For demonstration purposes the manual provides instruction on how to connect the DC2026C Linduino board to monitor and control the DC3145A with a PC using a command line Arduino IDE interface.

The LTC1563-2/LTC1563-3 are a family of extremely easy-to-use, active RC lowpass filters with rail-to-rail inputs and outputs and low DC offset suitable for systems with a resolution of up to 16 bits. The LTC1563-2, with a single resistor value, gives a unity-gain Butterworth response. The LTC1563-3, with a single resistor value, gives a unity-gain Bessel response. Demonstration circuit SCP-LT3461-EVALZ features the LT3461 in a 12V output boost converter which operates from an input voltage of 3V to 6V. The maximum output current is 70mA when powered from a 5.0V input and 40mA when powered from a 3.3V input.
Like all boards in the Signal Chain Power series, this board is designed to be easily plugged into other SCP boards to form a complete signal chain power system, enabling fast evaluation of low power signal chains. To evaluate this board, some universal SCP hardware is required, namely:
