AD8307ARZ-RL7

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8307 is the first logarithmic amplifier made available in an 8-lead SOIC_N package. It is a complete 500 MHz monolithic demodulating logarithmic amplifier based on the progressive compression (successive detection) technique, providing a dynamic range of 92 dB to ±3 dB law conformance and 88 dB to a tight ±1 dB error bound at all frequencies up to 100 MHz. The AD8307 is extremely stable and easy to use, requiring no significant external components. A single-supply voltage of 2.7 V to 5.5 V at 7.5 mA is needed. A fast acting CMOS-compatible control pin can disable the AD8307 to a standby current of 150 μA.The AD8307 operates over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C and is available in an 8-lead SOIC package and an 8-lead PDIP.Applications Conversion of signal level to decibel form  Transmitter antenna power measurement  Receiver signal strength indication (RSSI)  Low cost radar and sonar signal processing  Network and spectrum analyzers (to 120 dB)  Signal level determination down to 20 Hz  True decibel ac mode for multimeters

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8400 / AD8402 / AD8403 provide a single, dual or quad channel, 256 position digitally controlled variable resistor (VR) device. These devices perform the same electronic adjustment function as a potentiometer or variable resistor. The AD8400 contains a single variable resistor in the compact SO-8 package. The AD8402 contains two independent variable resistors in saving SO-14 surface mount package. The AD8403 contains four independent variable resistors in 24-lead PDIP, SOIC and TSSOP packages. Each part contains a fixed resistor with a wiper contact that taps the fixed resistor value at a point determined by a digital code loaded into the controlling serial input register. The resistance between the wiper and either endpoint of the fixed resistor varies linearly with respect to the digital code transferred into the VR latch. Each variable resistor offers a completely programmable value of resistance, between the A terminal and the wiper or the B terminal and the wiper. The fixed A to B terminal resistance of 1 kOhm, 10 kOhm, 50 kOhm or 100 kOhm has a ±1% channel-to-channel matching tolerance with a nominal temperature coefficient of 500 ppm/°C. A unique switching circuit minimizes the high glitch inherent in traditional switched resistor designs avoiding any make-before-break or break-before-make operation. Each VR has its own VR latch that holds its programmed resistance value. These VR latches are updated from an SPI compatible serial-to-parallel shift register that is loaded from a standard 3-wire serial-input digital interface. Ten data bits make up the data word clocked into the serial input register. The data word is decoded where the first two bits determine the address of the VR latch to be loaded, the last eight bits are data. A serial data output pin at the opposite end of the serial register allows simple daisy-chaining in multiple VR applications without additional external decoding logic.APPLICATIONS Mechanical potentiometer replacement Programmable filters, delays, time constants Volume control, panning Line impedance matching Power supply adjustment

AD8664ARUZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8661 / AD8662 / AD8664 are rail-to-rail output, single-supplyamplifiers that use the Analog Devices, Inc., patentedDigiTrim® trimming technique to achieve low offset voltage. The AD8661 / AD8662 / AD8664 series features extendedoperating ranges, with supply voltages up to 16 V. It alsofeatures low input bias current, wide signal bandwidth, and low input voltage and current noise. The combination of low offset, very low input bias current, and a wide supply range makes these amplifiers useful in a widevariety of applications usually associated with higher priced JFETamplifiers. Systems using high impedance sensors, such asphotodiodes, benefit from the combination of low input biascurrent, low noise, low offset, and wide bandwidth. The wideoperating voltage range meets the demands of high performanceanalog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and digital-to-analogconverters (DACs). Audio applications and medical monitoringequipment can take advantage of the high input impedance, lowvoltage, low current noise, and wide bandwidth. The single AD8661 is available in a narrow 8-lead SOIC packageand a very thin, dual lead, 8-lead LFCSP. The REF01 / REF02 / REF03 series of precision voltage references provide a stable 10.0 V, 5.0 V, or 2.5 V output with minimal change in response to variations in supply voltage, ambient temperature or load conditions. The devices are available in 8-lead SOIC, PDIP, CERDIP, and TO-99 packages, as well as 20-terminal LCC packages (883 only), furthering the usability of the devices in both standard and high stress applications. With an external buffer and a simple resistor network, the TEMP terminal can be used for temperature sensing and approximation. A TRIM terminal is also provided on the device for fine adjustment of the output voltage. The small footprint, wide supply range, and application versatility make the REF0x series of references ideal for general-purpose and space-constrained applications.Newer designs should use the ADR01 / ADR02 / ADR03 / ADR06 series of references, which offer higher accuracy and temperature stability over a wider operating temperature range, while maintaining full pin-for-pin compatibility with the REF01 / REF02 / REF03 series. AD1585BRTZ-REEL7

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD1582/AD1583/AD1584/AD1585 are low cost, low power, low dropout, precision band gap references. These designs are available as 3-terminal (series) devices and are packaged in the compact SOT-23, 3-lead surface-mount package. The versatility of these references makes them ideal for use in battery-powered 3 V or 5 V systems where there can be wide variations in supply voltage and a need to minimize power dissipation. The superior accuracy and temperature stability of the AD1582/AD1583/AD1584/AD1585 result from the precise matching and thermal tracking of on-chip components. Patented temperature drift curvature correction design techniques minimize the nonlinearities in the voltage output temperature characteristic. The AD1582/AD1583/AD1584/AD1585 series mode devices source or sink up to 5 mA of load current and operate efficiently with only 200 mV of required headroom supply. These parts draw a maximum 70 μA of quiescent current with only a 1.0 μA/V variation with supply voltage. The advantage of these designs over conventional shunt devices is extraordinary. Valuable supply current is no longer wasted through an input series resistor, and maximum power efficiency is achieved at all input voltage levels. The AD1582/AD1583/AD1584/AD1585 are available in two grades, A and B, and are provided in a tiny footprint, the SOT-23. All grades are specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C. Applications Portable, battery-powered equipment; for example, notebook computers, cellular phones, pagers, PDAs, GPSs, and DMMs Computer workstations; suitable for use with a wide range of video RAMDACs Smart industrial transmitters PCMCIA cards Automotive Hard disk drives 3 V/5 V, 8-bit/12-bit data converters

AD22057RZ-RL

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD22057 is a single-supply difference amplifier for the amplification and low-pass filtering of small differential voltages from sources having a large common-mode voltage.Supply voltages from +3 V to +36 V can be used. The input common-mode range extends from below ground to 24 V using a +5 V supply with excellent rejection of this common-mode voltage. This range is achieved by the use of a special resitive attenuator at the input, laser trimmed to a very high differential balance. Low initial offset voltage and offset voltage drift are specified, and long-term stability of gain and offset voltage is also provided.Provisions are included for optional low-pass filtering and gain adjustment. An accurate midscale offset feature allows bipolar signals to be amplified.
