The HMC940LC4B is a 1:4 Fanout Buffer designed to support data transmission rates up to 13 Gbps, and clock frequencies as high as 13 GHz. All differential inputs and outputs are DC coupled and terminated on chip with 50 Ohm resistors to ground. The outputs may be used in either single-ended or differential modes, and should be AC or DC coupled into 50 Ohm resistors connected to ground.The HMC940LC4B also features an output level control pin, VR which allows for loss compensation or for signal level optimization. The ADMC401 is a single-chip DSP-based controller, suitable for high performance control of ac induction motors (ACIM), permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM), brushless dc motors (BDCM) and switched reluctance (SR) motors in industrial applications. The ADMC401 integrates a 26 MIPS, fixed-point DSP core with a complete set of motor control peripherals that permits fast motor control in a highly integrated environment.The DSP core of the ADMC401 is the ADSP-2171 which is completely code compatible with the ADSP-21xx DSP family (as well as other members of the integrated motor controllers of the ADMC3xx family) and combines three computational units, data address generators and a program sequencer. The computational units comprise an ALU, a multiplier/accumulator (MAC) and a barrel shifter. The DSP core also adds instructions for bit manipulation, squaring (x2), biased rounding and global interrupt masking. In addition, two flexible double-buffered, bidirectional synchronous serial ports are included in the ADMC401.The ADMC401 provides 2K × 24-bit internal program memory RAM, 2K × 24-bit internal program memory ROM and 1K × 16-bit internal data memory RAM. The program and data memory RAM can be boot loaded through the serial port from either a serial E2PROM, through a UART connection (either from external host microprocessor or from the Motion Control Debugger) or via a synchronous serial interface from a host microprocessor. Alternatively, the internal program and data memory RAM may be booted from an external device across the address and data buses. The program memory ROM includes a monitor that adds software debugging features through the serial port.Additionally, the ADMC401 device adds significant external memory and peripheral expansion capabilities by making available the full address and data bus of the DSP core. This feature permits expansion of both external program and data memory and means that the DSP core can address up to 14K × 24 bits of external program memory and up to 13K × 16 bits of external data memory.The ADMC401 contains a number of special purpose, motor control peripherals. The first is a high performance, 8-channel, 12-bit ADC system with dual channel simultaneous sampling ability across 4 pair of inputs. An internal precision voltage reference is also available as part of the ADC system. In addition, a three-phase, 16-bit, center-based PWM generation unit can be used to produce high-accuracy PWM signals with minimal processor overhead. The ADMC401 also contains a flexible incremental encoder interface unit for position sensor feedback; two adjustable-frequency auxiliary PWM outputs, 12 lines of digital I/O; a 2-channel event capture system; a 16-bit watchdog timer; two 16-bit interval timers (one of which can be linked to the encoder interface unit) and an interrupt controller that manages all peripheral interrupts. Finally, the ADMC401 contains an integrated power-on-reset (POR) circuit that can be used to generate the required reset signal for the device on power-on.

The ADSP-SC584 processor is part of the new, high-performance, power-efficient, real-time series that delivers greater than 24 giga-floating-point operations per second using two enhanced SHARC+® cores and advanced DSP accelerators (FFT, FIR, IIR). The ADSP-SC58x and ADSP-2158x series consume less than 2 watts, making the new processor line-up more than 5x more power efficient than previous SHARC products. This advantage provides industry leading digital signal processing performance for applications where thermal management sets the limit for power consumption, or where the higher costs and lower reliability of fans cannot be tolerated. Applications include automotive, consumer and professional audio, multi-axis motor control, and energy distribution systems.The ADSP-SC58x products complement the SHARC+ cores and DSP accelerators with the addition of an Arm® Cortex-A5 processor, with FPU and Neon® DSP extensions to handle additional real-time processing tasks and manage peripherals used to interface to time-critical data in audio, industrial closed-loop control, and industrial sensing applications. These interfaces includes Gigabit Ethernet, USB High-Speed and a rich variety of other connectivity options for a flexible and simplified system design.The ADSP-2158x family is designed for applications where a DSP co-processor is exclusively needed and includes two SHARC+ cores and a peripheral set matched to a DSP core. The new, code-compatible, enhanced SHARC+ core features clock-rate and power-efficiency improvements and adds instruction/data cache options, native double-precision floating-point support, and a number of other new instructions. Designed for low-power and using a low-leakage CMOS process, the ADSP-SC58x/2158x families deliver 500 MHz with 105°C environments in mind and provide a roadmap to future implementations at higher performance. More than 1.8 Mbytes of fast on-chip SRAM and a DDR3/2/LP interface aid efficient real-time performance while the memory subsystem includes major enhancements with advanced DMA engines for simultaneous data transfer.With software IP protection a growing industry security concern, Arm® TrustZone® security and an onboard crypto hardware accelerators are included. For applications where reliability is a critical requirement, memory parity and error-correction hardware provide higher data integrity. The overall integration and low-power features offered by the new ADSP-SC58x and ADSP-2158x series deliver significant BOM and board area savings and provide lower design complexity and reduced time to market for today’s complex applications.The ADSP-SC58x/2158x  is supported by ADI’s award winning Crosscore® Embedded Studio development tool suite, providing design engineers with interactive, real-time development tools that help optimize their design and speed time to market.Analog Devices also provides the Linux Add-In for CrossCore Embedded Studio, a custom Linux board support package based on Buildroot, enabling customers interested in taking advantage of the communication stacks and application packages available for embedded Linux, running on the Arm Cortex-A5 core. The HMC618ALP3E is a GaAs pHEMT MMIC Low Noise Amplifier that is ideal for Cellular/3G and LTE/WiMAX/4G basestation front-end receivers operating between 1.2 - 2.2 GHz. The amplifier has been optimized to provide 0.75 dB noise figure, 19 dB gain and +36 dBm output IP3 from a single supply of +5V. Input and output return losses are excellent and the LNA requires minimal external matching and bias decoupling components. The HMC618ALP3E shares the same package and pinout with the HMC617LP3E 0.55 - 1.2 GHz LNA. The HMC618ALP3E can be biased with +3V to +5V and features an externally adjustable supply current which allows the designer to tailor the linearity performance of the LNA for each application.
