ADN2915ACPZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADN2915 provides the receiver functions of quantization, signal level detect, and clock and data recovery for continuous data rates from 6.5 Mbps to 11.3 Gbps. The ADN2915 automatically locks to all data rates without the need for an external reference clock or programming. ADN2915 jitter performance exceeds all jitter specifications required by SONET/SDH, including jitter transfer, jitter generation, and jitter tolerance. The ADN2915 provides manual or automatic slice adjust and manual sample phase adjusts. Additionally, the user can select a limiting amplifier, equalizer, or bypass at the input. The equalizer is either adaptive or can be manually set.The receiver front-end loss of signal (LOS) detector circuit indicates when the input signal level has fallen below a user-programmable threshold. The LOS detect circuit has hysteresis to prevent chatter at the LOS output. In addition, the input signal strength can be read through the I2C registers. The ADN2915 also supports pseudorandom binary sequence (PRBS) generation, bit error detection, and input data rate readback features. The ADN2915 is available in a compact 4 mm × 4 mm, 24-lead chip scale package (LFCSP). All ADN2915 specifications are defined over the ambient temperature range of −40°C to +85°C, unless otherwise noted.Applications SONET/SDH OC-1/OC-3/OC-12/OC-48/OC-192 and all associated FEC rates 1GFC, 2GFC, 4GFC, 8GFC, 10GFC, 1GE, and 10GE WDM transponders Any rate regenerators/repeaters

ADP1048DC1-EVALZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADP1047 / ADP1048 are digital power factor correction (PFC) controllers that provide accurate input power metering capability and inrush current control for ac/dc systems. The ADP1047 is designed for single phase PFC applications; the ADP1048 is designed especially for interleaved and bridgeless PFC applications. The digital PFC function is based on a conventional boost PFC with multiplication of the output voltage feedback combined with the input current and voltage to provide optimum harmonic correction and power factor for ac/dc systems. All signals are converted into the digital domain to provide maximum flexibility; all key parameters can be reported and adjusted via the PMBus™ interface. The ADP1047 / ADP1048 allow users to optimize system performance, maximize efficiency across the load range, and reduce design time to market. The ADP1047 / ADP1048 provide accurate rms measurement of input voltage, current, and power. This information can be reported to the microcontroller of the power supply via thePMBus interface.APPLICATIONS AC/DC power supplies for applications Computing Server & Storage Network and communication infrastructure Industrial and Medical

ADUCM322BBCZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADuCM322 is a fully integrated, single package device that incorporates high performance analog peripherals together with digital peripherals controlled by an 80 MHz ARM® Cortex™-M3 processor and integral flash for code and data. The ADC on the ADuCM322 provides 12-bit, 1 MSPS data acquisition on up to 16 input balls. Additionally, chip temperature and supply voltages can be measured. The ADC input voltage range is 0 V to VREF. A sequencer is provided, which allows a user to select a set of ADC channels to measure in sequence without software involvement during the sequence. The sequence can optionally repeat automatically at a user selectable rate. Up to eight VDACs are provided with output ranges that are programmable to one of two voltage ranges. The ADuCM322 can be configured so that the digital and analog outputs retain their output voltages through a watchdog or software reset sequence. Thus, a product can remain functional even while the ADuCM322 is resetting itself. The ADuCM322 has a low power ARM Cortex-M3 processor and a 32-bit RISC machine that offers up to 100 MIPS peak performance. Also integrated on-chip are 2 × 128 kB Flash/EE memory blocks and 32 kB of SRAM. The flash comprises two separate 128 kB blocks supporting execution from one flash block and simultaneous writing/erasing of the other flash block. The ADuCM322 operates from an on-chip oscillator or a 16 MHz external crystal and a PLL at 80 MHz. This clock can optionally be divided down to reduce current consumption. Additional low power modes can be set via software. In normal operating mode, the ADuCM322 digital core consumes about 300 μA per MHz.The device includes an MDIO interface capable of operating at up to 4 MHz. The capability to simultaneously execute from one flash block and write/erase the other flash block makes the ADuCM322 ideal for 10G, 40G, and 100G optical applications. In addition, the nonerasable kernel code plus flags in user flash provide assistance by allowing user code to robustly switch between the two blocks of user flash code and data spaces. The ADuCM322 integrates a range of on-chip peripherals that can be configured under software control, as required in the application. These peripherals include 1 × UART, 2 × I2C, and 2 × SPI serial input/output communication controllers, GPIO, 32-element PLA, three general-purpose timers, plus a wake-up timer and system watchdog timer. A 16-bit PWM with seven output channels is also provided.GPIO balls on the device power up in high impedance input mode. In output mode, the software chooses between open-drain mode and push-pull mode. The pull-up resistors can be disabled and enabled in software. In GPIO output mode, the inputs can remain enabled to monitor the balls. The GPIO balls can also be programmed to handle digital or analog peripheral signals; in such cases, the ball characteristics are matched to the specific requirement.A large support ecosystem is available for the ARM Cortex-M3 processor to ease product development of the ADuCM322. Access is via the ARM serial wire debug port (SW-DP). On-chip factory firmware supports in-circuit serial download via MDIO. These features are incorporated into a QuickStart™ development system, supporting this precision analog microcontroller family.APPLICATIONS Optical networking

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADuM4135 is a single-channel gate driver specificallyoptimized for driving insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs).Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology provides isolationbetween the input signal and the output gate drive. The ADuM4135 includes a Miller clamp to provide robust IGBT turn-off with a single-rail supply when the gate voltage drops below 2 V (typical). Operation with unipolar or bipolar secondary supplies is possible, with or without the Miller clamp operation. The Analog Devices chip scale transformers also provide isolated communication of control information between the high voltage and low voltage domains of the chip. Information on the status of the chip can be read back from dedicated outputs. Control of resetting the device after a fault on the secondary is performed on the primary side of the device.Integrated onto the ADuM4135 is a desaturation detection circuit that provides protection against high voltage short-circuit IGBT operation. The desaturation protection contains noise reducing features such as a 370 ns (typical) masking time after a switching event to mask voltage spikes due to initial turn-on. An internal 537 μA (typical) current source allows low device count and the internal blanking switch allows the addition of an external current source if more noise immunity is needed. The secondary UVLO is set to 11.67 V (typical) with common IGBT threshold levels taken into consideration.APPLICATIONS MOSFET/IGBT gate drivers PV inverters Motor drives Power supplies Automotive
