Because all gain setting resistors are internal and laser trimmed, gain accuracy and gain drift are better than can be achieved with typical instrumentation amplifiers.Low voltage offset, low offset drift, low gain drift, high gain accuracy, and high CMRR make this part an excellent choice in applications that demand the best dc performance possible, such as bridge signal conditioning.The AD8228 operates on both single and dual supplies. Because the part can operate on supplies up to ±18 V, it is well suited for applications where high common-mode input voltages are encountered. The AD9239 is a quad, 12-bit, 250 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with an on-chip temperature sensor and a high speed serial interface. It is designed to support digitizing high frequency, wide dynamic range signals with an input bandwidth up to 780 MHz. The AD9271 is designed for low cost, low power, small size, and ease of use. It contains eight channels of a variable gain amplifier (VGA) with low noise preamplifier (LNA); an antialiasing filter (AAF); and a 12-bit, 10 MSPS to 50 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC).Each channel features a variable gain range of 30 dB, a fully differential signal path, an active input preamplifier termination, a maximum gain of up to 40 dB, and an ADC with a conversion rate of up to 50 MSPS. The channel is optimized for dynamic performance and low power in applications where a small package size is critical.The LNA has a single-ended-to-differential gain that is selectable through the SPI. The LNA input noise is typically 1.2 nV/√Hz, and the combined input-referred noise of the entire channel is 1.4 nV/√Hz at maximum gain. Assuming a 15 MHz noise bandwidth (NBW) and a 15.6 dB LNA gain, the input SNR is roughly 86 dB. In CW Doppler mode, the LNA output drives a transconductance amp that is switched through an 8 × 6 differential crosspoint switch. The AD9516-0 provides a multi-output clock distribution function with subpicosecond jitter performance, along with an on-chip PLL and VCO. The on-chip VCO tunes from 2.55 GHz to 2.95 GHz. Optionally, an external VCO/VCXO of up to 2.4 GHz can be used.The AD9516-0 emphasizes low jitter and phase noise to maximize data converter performance, and it can benefit other applications with demanding phase noise and jitter requirements.The AD9516-0 features six LVPECL outputs (in three pairs) and four LVDS outputs (in two pairs). Each LVDS output can be reconfigured as two CMOS outputs. The LVPECL outputs operate to 1.6 GHz, the LVDS outputs operate to 800 MHz, and the CMOS outputs operate to 250 MHz.Each pair of outputs has dividers that allow both the divide ratio and coarse delay (or phase) to be set. The range of division for the LVPECL outputs is 1 to 32. The LVDS/CMOS outputs allow a range of divisions up to a maximum of 1024.The AD9516-0 is available in a 64-lead LFCSP and can be operated from a single 3.3 V supply. An external VCO, which requires an extended voltage range, can be accommodated by connecting the charge pump supply (VCP) to 5 V.
