The AD767 is a complete voltage output 12-bit digital-to-analog converter including high stability buried Zener reference and input latch on a single chip. The converter uses 12 precision high-speed bipolar current steering switches and a laser-trimmed thin-film resistor network to provide high accuracy.Microprocessor compatibility is achieved by the on-chip latch. The design of the input latch allows direct interface to 12-bit buses. The latch responds to strobe pulses as short as 40 ns, allowing use with the fastest available microprocessors.The functional completeness and high performance of the AD767 result from a combination of advanced switch design, high-speed bipolar manufacturing process, and the proven laser wafer-trimming (LWT) technology.The subsurface (buried) Zener diode on the chip provides a low-noise voltage reference which has long-term stability and temperature drift characteristics comparable to the best discrete reference diodes. The laser trimming process which provides the excellent linearity is also used to trim the absolute value of the reference as well as its temperature coefficient. The AD767 is thus well suited for wide temperature range performance with ±½ LSB maximum linearity error and guaranteed monotonicity over the full temperature range. Typical full-scale gain is 5 ppm/ºC.

The AD7845 is the industry's first 4-quadrant multiplying D/A converter with an on-chip amplifier. It is fabricated on the LC2MOS process, which allows precision linear components and digital circuitry to be implemented on the same chip.The 12 data inputs drive latches which are controlled by standard CS and WR signals, making microprocessor interfacing simple. For stand-alone operation, the CS and WR inputs can be tied to ground, making all latches transparent. All digital inputs are TTL and 5 V CMOS compatible.The output amplifier can supply ±10 V into a 2k(ohm) load. It is internally compensated, and its input offset voltage is low due to laser trimming at wafer level. For normal operation, RFB is tied to VOUT, but the user may alternatively choose RA, RB or RC to scale the output voltage range.

The AD795 is a low noise, precision, FET input operational amplifier. It offers both the low voltage noise and low offset drift of a bipolar input op amp and the very low bias current of a FET-input device. The 1014 Ω common-mode impedance insures that input bias current is essentially independent of common-mode voltage and supply voltage variations.The AD795 has both excellent dc performance and a guaranteed and tested maximum input voltage noise. It features 2 pA maximum input bias current and 500 μV maximum offset voltage, along with low supply current of 1.5 mA maximum.Furthermore, the AD795 features a guaranteed low input noise of 3.3 μV P-P (0.1 Hz to 10 Hz) and a 11 nV/√Hz maximum noise level at 10 kHz. The AD8018 is a dual, high speed, low cost amplifier capable of driving low distortion signals to within 0.5 V of the supply rail. It is intended for use in single supply xDSL systems where low distortion and low cost is essential, and maximum reach on the line must be attained with the minimum of supply voltages. Each amplifier drives minimum 350 mA of output current and while maintaining -95 dBc of SFDR at 100 kHz, outstanding performance for any xDSL CPE application. The AD8018 is available with flexible standby and shutdown modes. Two bit control (1.5 V threshold referenced to DGND) will put the AD8018 into a full power standby (outputs low impedance) and shutdown (outputs high impedance).Fabricated in ADI's high speed XFCB process, the high bandwidth and fast slew rate of the AD8018 keep distortion to a minimum, while dissipating a minimum of power. The quiescent current of the AD8018 is low 9 mA/amplifier max. Low distortion, high output voltage drive, and high output current drive in small packages make the AD8018 ideal for use in low cost USB, PCMCIA and PCI Customer Premise Equipment for ADSL, SDSL, VDSL and proprietary xDSL systems.An evaluation board is available for this product and may be ordered using the following product number AD8018ARU-EVAL.

The AD842 is a member of the Analog Devices, Inc. family of wide bandwidth operational amplifiers. This device is fabricated using the Analog Device junction isolated complementary bipolar (CB) process. This process permits a combination of dc precision and wideband ac performance previously unobtainable in a monolithic op amp. In addition to its 80 MHz gain bandwidth product, the AD842 offers extremely fast settling characteristics, typically settling to within 0.01% of final value in less than 100 ns for a 10 V step.The AD842 also offers a low quiescent current of 13 mA, a high output current drive capability (100 mA minimum), a low input voltage noise of 9 nV√Hz, and a low input offset voltage (1.5 mV maximum).The 375 V/μs slew rate of the AD842, along with its 80 MHz gain bandwidth product, ensures excellent performance in video and pulse amplifier applications. This amplifier is ideally suited for use in high frequency signal conditioning circuits and wide bandwidth active filters. The extremely rapid settling time of the AD842 makes this amplifier the preferred choice for data acquisition applications requiring 12-bit accuracy. The AD842 is also appropriate for other applications, such as high speed DAC and ADC buffer amplifiers and other wide bandwidth circuitry.
