The AD5270 / AD5271 are single-channel, 1024-/256-position digital rheostats that combine industry leading variable resistor performance with nonvolatile memory (NVM) in a compact package. The AD5270 / AD5271 ensure less than 1% end-to-end resistor tolerance error and offer 50-times programmable (50-TP) memory. The guaranteed industry leading low resistor tolerance error feature simplifies open-loop applications as well as precision calibration and tolerance matching applications. The AD5270 / AD5271 device wiper settings are controllable through the SPI digital interface. Unlimited adjustments are allowed before programming the resistance value into the 50-TP memory. The AD5270/AD5271 do not require any external voltage supply to facilitate fuse blow and there are 50 opportunities for permanent programming. During 50-TP activation, a permanent blow fuse command freezes the resistance position (analogous to placing epoxy on a mechanical trimmer). The AD5270 / AD5271 are available in a 3 mm x 3 mm, 10-lead LFCSP package and in a 10-lead MSOP package. The parts are guaranteed to operate over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.APPLICATIONS Mechanical potentiometer replacements Op-amp: variable gain control Instrumentation: gain, offset adjustment Programmable voltage-to-current conversions Programmable filters, delays, time constants Programmable power supply Sensor calibration

AD5629RARUZ-1
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5629R device is a low power, octal, 12-bit, buffered voltage-output DACs. It operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and is guaranteed monotonic by design. The AD5629R/AD5669R have an on-chip reference with aninternal gain of 2. The AD5629R-1/AD5669R-1 have a 1.25 V,5 ppm/°C reference, giving a full-scale output range of 2.5 V.The AD5629R-2/AD5629R-3 and the AD5669R-2/AD5669R-3have a 2.5 V 5 ppm/°C reference, giving a full-scale output rangeof 5 V depending on the option selected. Devices with 1.25 Vreference selected operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply.Devices with 2.5 V reference selected operate from 4.5 V to 5.5 V.The on-chip reference is off at power-up, allowing the use of anexternal reference. The internal reference is enabled via asoftware write. The part incorporates a power-on reset circuit that ensures that the DAC output powers up to 0 V and remains powered up at this level until a valid write takes place. The part contains a power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 400 nA at 5 V and provides software-selectable output loads while in power-down mode for any or all DAC channels.Product Highlights Octal, 12-/16-bit DACs. On-chip 1.25 V/2.5 V, 5 ppm/°C reference. Available in 16-lead LFCSP and TSSOP, and 16-ball WLCSP. Power-on reset to 0 V or midscale. Power-down capability. When powered down, the DAC typically consumes 200 nA at 3 V and 400 nA at 5 V.Applications Process control Data acquisition systems Portable battery-powered instruments Digital gain and offset adjustment Programmable voltage and current sources

The AD5748 is a single-channel, low cost, precision, voltage/current output driver with hardware or software programmable output ranges. The software ranges are configured via an SPI-/ MICROWIRE™-compatible serial interface. The AD5748 targets applications in PLC and industrial process control. The analog input to the AD5748 is provided from a low voltage, single-supply, digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and is internally conditioned to provide the desired output current/voltage range. The analog input range is 0 V to 4.096 V.The output current range is programmable across two current ranges: 4 mA to 21 mA and 0 mA to 21 mA.Voltage output is provided from a separate pin that can be configured to provide 0 V to 5 V, 0 V to 10.5 V, or ±10.5 V output range.Analog outputs are short-circuit and open-circuit protected and can drive capacitive loads of 2 μF and inductive loads of 0.1 H.The device is specified to operate with a power supply range from ±12 V to ±24 V. Output loop compliance is 0 V to AVDD − 2.75 V.The flexible serial interface is SPI- and MICROWIRE-compatible and can be operated in 3-wire mode to minimize the digital isolation required in isolated applications. The interface also features an optional PEC error checking feature using CRC-8 error checking, useful in industrial environments where data communication corruption can occur. The device also includes a power-on-reset function, ensuring that the device powers up in a known state (0 V or tristate), and a asynchronous CLEAR pin that sets the outputs to zero scale/midscale voltage output or the low end of the selected current range. An HW SELECT pin is used to configure the part for hardware or software mode on power-up.Note that the plots in the Typical Performance Characteristics section of this data sheet contain information on the standard ranges, as released in the AD5750/AD5750-1 data sheet. Although the overranges have been tested, new plots were not generated and substitution data was used for plotting purposes.APPLICATIONS Process control Actuator control PLCs

AD5755-1ACPZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5755-1 is a quad, voltage and current output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that operates with a power supply range from −26.4 V to +33 V. On-chip dynamic power control minimizes package power dissipation in current mode. This is achieved by regulating the voltage on the output driver from 7.4 V to 29.5 V using a dc-to-dc boost converter optimized for minimum on-chip power dissipation. Each channel has a corresponding CHART pin so that HART signals can be coupled onto the current output of the AD5755-1.The device uses a versatile 3-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates of up to 30 MHz and is compatible with standard SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, DSP, and microcontroller interface standards. The interface also features optional CRC-8 packet error checking, as well as a watchdog timer that monitors activity on the interface.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Dynamic power control for thermal management. 16-bit performance. Multichannel. HART compliant. APPLICATIONS Process control Actuator control Programmable logic controllers (PLCs) HART network connectivity
