The ADXRS642 is a complete angular rate sensor (gyroscope) that uses the Analog Devices, Inc., surface-micromachining process to make a functionally complete and low cost angular rate sensor integrated with all of the required electronics on one chip. The manufacturing technique for this device is a patented high volume BiMOS process with years of proven field reliability.The ADXRS642 is an industrial grade gyroscope that is 100% pin, package, temperature, and function compatible with the ADXRS622 and ADXRS652, while offering enhanced vibration rejection.The output signal, RATEOUT (1B, 2A), is a voltage proportional to angular rate about the axis normal to the top surface of the package. The measurement range is a minimum of ±250°/s. The output is ratiometric with respect to a provided reference supply. Other external capacitors are required for operation.A temperature output is provided for compensation techniques. Two digital self-test inputs electromechanically excite the sensor to test proper operation of both the sensor and the signal conditioning circuits. The LTM8048 is an isolated flyback μModule (power module) DC/DC converter with LDO post regulator. The LTM8048 has an isolation rating of 725VDC. Included in the package are the switching controller, power switches, transformer, and all support components. Operating over an input voltage range of 3.1V to 32V, the LTM8048 supports an output voltage range of 2.5V to 13V, set by a single resistor. There is also a linear post regulator whose output voltage is adjustable from 1.2V to 12V as set by a single resistor. Only output, input, and bypass capacitors are needed to finish the design. Other components may be used to control the soft-start control and biasing.The LTM8048 is packaged in a thermally enhanced, compact (11.25mm × 9mm × 4.92mm) over-molded ball grid array (BGA) package suitable for automated assembly by standard surface mount equipment. The ADG444 is a monolithic CMOS device comprising four independently selectable switches. It is designed on an enhanced LC2MOS process which provides low power dissipation yet gives high switching speed and low on resistance.The ADG444 switches are turned on with a logic low on the appropriate control input. Each switch conducts equally well in both directions when ON and each has an input signal range that extends to the supplies. All switches exhibit break-before-make switching action for use in multiplexer applications. Inherent in the design is low charge injection for minimum transients when switching the digital inputs.
