The LTC3604 is a high efficiency, monolithic synchronous buck regulator using a phase-lockable controlled on-time, current mode architecture capable of supplying up to 2.5A of output current. The operating supply voltage range is from 3.6V to 15V, making it suitable for a wide range of power supply applications. The operating frequency is programmable from 800kHz to 4MHz with an external resistor enabling the use of small surface mount inductors. For switching noise sensitive applications, the LTC3604 can be externally synchronized over the same frequency range. An internal phase-locked loop aligns the on-time of the top power MOSFET to the internal or external clock. This unique constant frequency/controlled on-time architecture is ideal for high step-down ratio applications that demand high switching frequencies and fast transient response. The LTC3604 offers two operational modes: Burst Mode operation and forced continuous mode to allow the user to optimize output voltage ripple, noise, and light load efficiency for a given application. Maximum light load efficiency is achieved with the selection of Burst Mode operation while forced continuous mode provides minimum output ripple and constant frequency operation.Applications Distributed Power Systems Lithium-Ion Battery-Powered Instruments Point-of-Load Power Supplies

The LTC2752 is a dual 16-bit multiplying serial-input, current-output digital-to-analog converter. It operates from a single 3V to 5V supply and is guaranteed monotonic over temperature. The LTC2752A provides full 16-bit performance (±1LSB INL and DNL, max) over temperature without any adjustments. This SoftSpan™ DAC offers six output ranges (up to ±10V) that can be programmed through the 3-wire SPI serial interface, or pinstrapped for operation in a single range. Any on-chip register (including DAC output-range settings) can be read for verification in just one instruction cycle; and if you change register content, the altered register will be automatically read back during the next instruction cycle. Voltage-controlled offset and gain adjustments are also provided; and the power-on reset circuit and CLR pin both reset the DAC outputs to 0V regardless of output range.Applications High Resolution Offset and Gain Adjustment Process Control and Industrial Automation Automatic Test Equipment Data Acquisition Systems

The LTC2655 is a family of Quad I2C 16-/12-Bit Rail-to-Rail DACs with integrated 10ppm/°C max reference. The DACs have built-in high performance, rail-to-rail, output buffers and are guaranteed monotonic. The LTC2655-L has a full-scale output of 2.5V with the integrated reference and operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. The LTC2655-H has a full-scale output of 4.096V with the integrated reference and operates from a 4.5V to 5.5V supply. Each DAC can also operate with an external reference, which sets the full-scale output to 2 times the external reference voltage. The parts use the 2-wire I2C compatible serial interface. The LTC2655 operates in both the standard mode (maximum clock rate of 100kHz) and the fast mode (maximum clock rate of 400kHz). The LTC2655 incorporates a power-on reset circuit that is controlled by the PORSEL pin. If PORSEL is tied to GND the DACs power-on reset to zero-scale. If PORSEL is tied to VCC, the DACs power-on reset to mid-scale.Applications Mobile Communications Process Control and Industrial Automation Instrumentation Automatic Test Equipment Automotive

The LTC2379-18 is a low noise, low power, high speed 18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADC. Operating from a 2.5V supply, the LTC2379-18 has a ±VREF fully differential input range with VREF ranging from 2.5V to 5.1V. The LTC2379-18 consumes only 18mW and achieves ±2LSB INL maximum, no missing codes at 18‑bits with 101.2dB SNR.The LTC2379-18 has a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface that supports 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V logic while also featuring a daisychain mode. The fast 1.6Msps throughput with no cycle latency makes the LTC2379-18 ideally suited for a wide variety of high speed applications. An internal oscillator sets the conversion time, easing external timing considerations. The LTC2379-18 automatically powers down between conversions, leading to reduced power dissipation that scales with the sampling rate. The LTC2379-18 features a unique digital gain compression (DGC) function, which eliminates the driver amplifier’s negative supply while preserving the full resolution of the ADC. When enabled, the ADC performs a digital scaling function that maps zero-scale code from 0V to 0.1 • VREF and full-scale code from VREF to 0.9 • VREF. For a typical reference voltage of 5V, the full-scale input range is now 0.5V to 4.5V, which provides adequate headroom for powering the driving amplifier from a single 5.5V supply.Applications Medical Imaging High Speed Data Acquisition Portable or Compact Instrumentation Industrial Process Control Low Power Battery-Operated Instrumentation ATE

The ADuCRF101 is a fully integrated, data acquisition solution that is designed for low power, wireless applications. It features a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a low power ARM Cortex™-M3 processor, a 862 MHz to 928 MHz and 431 MHz to 464 MHz RF transceiver, and Flash®/EE memory. The ADuCRF101 is packaged in a 9 mm × 9 mm LFCSP.The data acquisition section consists of a 12-bit SAR ADC. The six inputs can be configured in single-ended or differential mode. When configured in single-ended mode, they can be used for ratiometric measurements on sensors that are powered, when required, from the internal low dropout regulator (LDO). An internal battery monitor channel and an on-chip temperature sensor are also available. This wireless data acquisition system is designed to operate in battery-powered applications where low power is critical. The device can be configured in normal operating mode or different low power modes under direct program control. In flexi mode, any peripheral can wake up the device and operate it. In hibernate mode, the internal wake-up timer remains active. In shutdown mode, only an external interrupt can wake up the device. The ADuCRF101 integrates a low power ARM Cortex-M3 processor. It is a 32-bit RISC machine, offering up to 1.25 DMIPS peak performance. The ARM Cortex-M3 processor also has a flexible 14-channel direct memory access (DMA) controller that supports communication peripherals, serial peripheral interface (SPI), UART, and I2C. Also provided on chip are 128 kB of nonvolatile Flash/EE memory and 16 kB of SRAM.A 16 MHz on-chip oscillator generates the system clock. This clock can be internally divided for the processor to operate at a lower frequency, thus saving power. A low power, internal 32 kHz oscillator is available and can be used to clock the four timers, as follows: two general-purpose timers, a wake-up timer, and a system watchdog timer.A range of communication peripherals can be configured, as required, in a specific application. These peripherals include UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO ports, PWM, and RF transceivers. The RF transceiver communicates in the 862 MHz to 928 MHz and 431 MHz to 464 MHz frequency bands using multiple configurations.On-chip factory firmware supports in-circuit serial download via the UART, and nonintrusive emulation and program download are also supported via the serial wire interface. These features are incorporated into a low cost development system supporting this precision analog microcontroller family. The ADuCRF101 operates from 2.2 V to 3.6 V and is specified over an industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. It is available in a 64-lead LFCSP packageApplications Battery powered wireless sensor Medical telemetry systems Industrial and home automation Asset tracking Security systems (access systems) Health and fitness applications
