EVAL-ADF4XXXZ-USB
Analog Devices Inc.
The EVAL-ADF4XXX is a USB to parallel port adaptor board which allows control of older PLL evaluation boards using a standard USB port. The evaluation board kit comes with a USB cable and the adaptor PCB board. The board contains a USB microcontroller which converts the USB data to lower speed serial data which can be used to control the PLL boards directly. The board also has a USB connector and 25-pin D-connector. The parallel port cable that ships with the older PLL evaluation boards should be connected to the 25-pin D-connector. The USB port should be connected to your pc using the USB cable provided. USB drivers for the board are provided on the standard PLL evaluation board CD. Please install the ADI evaluation board software before plugging in the USB board.

The ADF7012 is a low power FSK/GFSK/OOK/GOOK/ASK UHF transmitter designed for short-range devices (SRDs). The output power, output channels, deviation frequency, and modulation type are programmable by using four, 32-bit registers.The fractional-N PLL and VCO with external inductor enable the user to select any frequency in the 75 MHz to 1 GHz band. The fast lock times of the fractional-N PLL make the ADF7012 suitable in fast frequency hopping systems. The fine frequency deviations available and PLL phase noise performance facilitates narrow-band operation.There are five selectable modulation schemes: binary frequency shift keying (FSK), Gaussian frequency shift keying (GFSK), binary on-off keying (OOK), Gaussian on-off keying (GOOK), and amplitude shift keying (ASK). In the compensation register, the output can be moved in <1 ppm steps so that indirect compensation for frequency error in the crystal reference can be made.A simple 3-wire interface controls the registers. The LTC2337-18 is a low noise, high speed 18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADC with fully differential inputs. Operating from a single 5V supply, the LTC2337-18 has a ?10.24V true bipolar input range, making it ideal for high voltage applications which require a wide dynamic range. The LTC2337-18 achieves ?4LSB INL maximum, no missing codes at 18-bits with 100dB SNR.The LTC2337-18 has an on-board single-shot capable reference buffer and low drift (20ppm/?C max) 2.048V temperature compensated reference. Operating from a single 5V supply, the LTC2326-18 has a ?10.24V true bipolar input range, making it ideal for high voltage applications which require a wide dynamic range. The LTC2326-18 achieves ?5LSB INL maximum, no missing codes at 18 bits with 95dB SNR.The LTC2326-18 has an onboard single-shot capable reference buffer and low drift (20ppm/?C max) 2.048V temperature compensated reference. The LTC2326-18 also has a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface that supports 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V logic while also featuring a daisy-chain mode. The fast 250ksps throughput with no cycle latency makes the LTC2326-18 ideally suited for a wide variety of high speed applications. An internal oscillator sets the conversion time, easing external timing considerations. The LTC2326-18 dissipates only 28mW and automatically naps between conversions, leading to reduced power dissipation that scales with the sampling rate. A sleep mode is also provided to reduce the power consumption of the LTC2326-18 to 300?W for further power savings during inactive periods.
