The MAX6326/MAX6327/MAX6328/MAX6346/MAX6347/MAX6348 microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuits monitor the power supplies in µP and digital systems. These devices provide excellent circuit reliability and low cost by eliminating external components and adjustments when used with 2.5V, 3V, 3.3V, and 5V powered circuits.These circuits perform a single function: they assert a reset signal whenever the VCC supply voltage declines below a preset threshold, keeping it asserted for at least 100ms after VCC has risen above the reset threshold. The only difference between the devices is their output. The MAX6326/MAX6346 (push-pull) and MAX6328/MAX6348 (open-drain) have an active-low reset output. The MAX6327/MAX6347 have an active-high push-pull reset output. All of these parts are guaranteed to be in the correct state for VCC down to 1V. The reset comparator is designed to ignore fast transients on VCC. Reset thresholds are factory-trimmable between 2.2V and 4.63V, in approximately 100mV increments. Twenty-one standard versions are available. Contact the factory for availability of nonstandard versions.Ultra-low supply currents (1µA max for the MAX6326/MAX6327/MAX6328) make these parts ideal for use in portable equipment. The MAX3280E/MAX3281E/MAX3283E/MAX3284E are single receivers designed for RS-485 and RS-422 communication. These devices guarantee data rates up to 52Mbps, even with a 3V power supply. Excellent propagation delay (15ns max) and package-to-package skew time (8ns max) make these devices ideal for multidrop clock distribution applications.The MAX3280E/MAX3281E/MAX3283E/MAX3284E have true fail-safe circuitry, which guarantees a logic-high receiver output when the receiver inputs are opened or shorted. The receiver output will be a logic high if all transmitters on a terminated bus are disabled (high impedance). These devices feature 1/4-unit-load receiver input impedance, allowing up to 128 receivers on the same bus.The MAX3280E is a single receiver available in a 5-pin SOT23 package. The MAX3281E/MAX3283E single receivers have a receiver enable (EN or active-low EN) function and are offered in a 6-pin SOT23 package. The MAX3284E features a voltage logic pin that allows compatibility with low-voltage logic levels, as in digital FPGAs/ASICs. On the MAX3284E, the voltage threshold for a logic high is user-defined by setting VL in the range from 1.65V to VCC. The MAX7328/MAX7329 are 2-wire serial-interfaced peripherals with eight I/O ports. Any port can be used as a logic input or an open-drain output.All input ports are continuously monitored for state changes (transition detection). Transitions are alerted through the open-drain, 5.5V-tolerant active-low INT output.The MAX7328 and MAX7329 versions differ only by their slave ID address ranges. The MAX7328 has a slave ID range of 0100xxx (0x20 to 0x27). The MAX20328/MAX20328A/MAX20328B are USB Type-C audio interface ICs for use in portable devices. As USB Type-C and USB power delivery (PD) make a high-voltage charging solution readily available, the data and SBU lines are at risk of shorting to a high bus voltage, risking permanent damage to the portable device.
