The LT5579 mixer is a high performance upconverting mixer optimized for frequencies in the 1.5GHz to 3.8GHz range. The single-ended LO input and RF output ports simplify board layout and reduce system cost. The mixer needs only ?1dBm of LO power and the balanced design results in low LO signal leakage to the RF output. At 2.6GHz operation, the LT5579 provides high conversion gain of 1.3dB, high OIP3 of +26dBm and a low noise floor of ?157.5dBm/Hz at a ?5dBm RF output signal level. The LT5579 offers a high performance alternative to passive mixers. Unlike passive mixers, which have conversion loss and require high LO drive levels, the LT5579 delivers conversion gain at significantly lower LO input levels and is less sensitive to LO power level variations. Demonstration circuit 1261A features the LTM8022 step-down μModule® regulator delivering a 3.3V/1A output from a 4.5V to 36V input supply. As a step-down converter, the LTM8022 requires a minimum amount of headroom to keep the output in regulation. Current sharing with another LTM8022 is enabled by tying the VIN, VOUT and SHARE pins together to support higher output loads.

Demonstration Circuit 1279 is a full-featured, multitopology LED driver with 1.5A switch current featuring the LT3518. The board is optimized to drive a 330mA LED string with a total LED voltage between the input voltage and 40V in a boost topology. The input voltage range (VIN) is 3V to 30V, and the supply pin that powers the switcher (PVIN) has an input voltage range of 3V to 40V.

The LTC2209 is a 160Msps 16-bit A/D converter designed for digitizing high frequency, wide dynamic range signals with input frequencies up to 700MHz. The LTC6603 is a dual, matched, programmable lowpass filter for communications receivers and transmitters. The selectivity of the LTC6603, combined with its linear phase, phase matching and dynamic range, make it suitable for filtering in many communications systems. With 1.5? phase matching between channels, the LTC6603 can be used in applications requiring pairs of matched filters, such as transceiver I and Q channels. Furthermore, the differential inputs and outputs provide a simple interface for most communications systems.The sampled data filter does not require an external clock yet its cutoff frequency can be set with a single external resistor with an accuracy of 3.5% or better. The external resistor programs an internal oscillator whose frequency is divided prior to being applied to the filter networks. This allows up to three cutoff frequencies that can be obtained for each external resistor value, allowing the cutoff frequency to be programmed over a range of more than six octaves. Alternatively, the cutoff frequency can be set with an external clock.
