LTC3204EDC-5 Demo Board | Low Noise Regulated Charge Pump in 2x2 DFN, Burst Mode, VIN = 2.7V–5.5V, VOUT = 5V/(65–150mA)
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 761 is a low noise regulated charge pump featuring the LTC3204 (Burst Mode operation) in the 2X2 DFN package. There are two assembly versions, DC761A-A and DC761A-B for the LTC3204-5 (5V output) and LTC3204-3.3 (3.3V output) respectively. The DC761A-A produces a regulated 5V output from a 2.7V to 5.5V input. The guaranteed output load current is 150mA for VIN between 3.1V and 5.5V, and 65mA for VIN less than 3.1V. The DC761A-B produces a regulated 3.3V output from a 1.8V to 4.5V input. The guaranteed output current is 50mA from VIN between 1.9V and 4.5V, and 40mA for VIN less than 1.9V.
The circuit requires only three tiny 0603 surface mount capacitors and uses minimal board space. No inductor or diodes are needed. The circuit features automatic Burst Mode® operation at light loads to maintain low supply current.

The LTC7812 is a high performance synchronous Boost+Buck DC/DC switching regulator controller that drives all N-channel power MOSFET stages. It contains independent step-up (boost) and step-down (buck) controllers that can regulate two separate outputs or be cascaded to regulate an output voltage from an input voltage that can be above, below or equal to the output voltage. The LTC7812 operates from a wide 4.5V to 38V input supply range. When biased from the output of the boost regulator, the LTC7812 can operate from an input supply as low as 2.5V after start-up. The 33?A no-load quiescent current extends operating run time in battery-powered systems.Unlike conventional buck-boost regulators, the LTC7812?s cascaded Boost+Buck solution has continuous, nonpulsating, input and output currents, substantially reducing voltage ripple and EMI. The LTC7812 has independent feedback and compensation points for the boost and buck regulation loops, enabling a fast output transient response that can be easily optimized externally.Applications Automotive and Industrial Power Systems High Power Battery Operated Systems

The LTC3601 is a high efficiency, monolithic synchronous buck regulator using a phase-lockable controlled on-time, current mode architecture capable of supplying up to 1.5A of output current. The operating supply voltage range is from 4V to 15V, making it suitable for a wide range of power supply applications. The operating frequency is programmable from 800kHz to 4MHz with an external resistor enabling the use of small surface mount inductors. For switching noise sensitive applications, the LTC3601 can be externally synchronized over the same frequency range. An internal phase-locked loop aligns the on-time of the top power MOSFET to the internal or external clock. This unique constant frequency/ controlled on-time architecture is ideal for high step-down ratio applications that demand high switching frequencies and fast transient response. The LTC3601 offers two operational modes: Burst Mode operation and forced continuous mode to allow the user to optimize output voltage ripple, noise, and light load efficiency for a given application. Maximum light load efficiency is achieved with the selection of Burst Mode operation while forced continuous mode provides minimum output ripple and constant frequency operation.Applications Distributed Power Systems Lithium-Ion Battery-Powered Instruments Point-of-Load Power Supply

The LTC1563-2/LTC1563-3 are a family of extremely easy-to-use, active RC lowpass filters with rail-to-rail inputs and outputs and low DC offset suitable for systems with a resolution of up to 16 bits. The LTC1563-2, with a single resistor value, gives a unity-gain Butterworth response. The LTC1563-3, with a single resistor value, gives a unity-gain Bessel response. The proprietary architecture of these parts allows for a simple resistor calculation:R = 10k (256kHz/fC); fC = Cutoff Frequencywhere fC is the desired cutoff frequency. For many applications, this formula is all that is needed to design a filter.By simply utilizing different valued resistors, gain andother responses are achieved. The LTC1563-X features a low power mode, for the lowerfrequency applications, where the supply current is reducedby an order of magnitude and a near zero powershutdown mode. The LTC1563-Xs are available in the narrow SSOP-16package (Same footprint as an SO-8 package).Applications Discrete RC Active Filters and Modules Antialiasing Filters Smoothing or Reconstruction Filters Linear Phase Filtering for Data Communication Phase Locked Loops
