The HMC7911 is a compact gallium arsenide (GaAs), pseudomorphic(pHEMT), monolithic microwave integrated circuit(MMIC) upconverter in a RoHS compliant, low stress, injectionmolded plastic LFCSP package that operates from 17 GHz to20 GHz. This device provides a small signal conversion gain of18 dB with 30 dBc of sideband rejection. The HMC7911 uses avariable gain amplifier preceded by an in-phase/quadrature (I/Q)mixer that is driven by an active 2? local oscillator (LO) multiplier.IF1 and IF2 mixer inputs are provided, and an external 90? hybridis needed to select the required sideband. The I/Q mixer topologyreduces the need for filtering of the unwanted sideband. TheHMC7911 is a much smaller alternative to hybrid style singlesideband (SSB) upconverter assemblies, and it eliminates theneed for wire bonding by allowing the use of surface-mountmanufacturing techniques.Applications Point to point and point to multipoint radios Military radars, electronic warfare (EW), and electronic intelligence (ELINT) Satellite communications Sensors

The LT3468/LT3468-1/LT3468-2 are highly integrated ICs designed to charge photoflash capacitors in digital and film cameras. A patented control technique* allows for the use of extremely small transformers. Each device contains an on-chip high voltage NPN power switch. Output voltage detection* is completely contained within the device, eliminating the need for any discrete zener diodes or resistors. The output voltage can be adjusted by simply changing the turns ratio of the transformer. The LT3468 has a primary current limit of 1.4A, the LT3468-2 has a 1A limit, and the LT3468-1 has a 0.7A limit. These different current limit levels result in well controlled input currents of 500mA for the LT3468, 375mA for the LT3468-2 and 225mA for the LT3468-1. Aside from the differing current limit, the three devices are otherwise equivalent. The CHARGE pin gives full control of the part to the user. Driving CHARGE low puts the part in shutdown. The DONE pin indicates when the part has completed charging. The LT3468 series of parts are available in tiny low profile (1mm) SOT-23 packages.Applications Digital / Film Camera Flash PDA / Cell Phone Flash Emergency Strobe

The LTC5530 is an RF power detector for RF applications operating in the 300MHz to 7GHz range. A temperature compensated Schottky diode peak detector and buffer amplifier are combined in a small ThinSOT? package. The supply voltage range is optimized for operation from a single lithium-ion cell or 3xNiMH.The RF input voltage is peak detected using an on-chip Schottky diode. The detected voltage is buffered and supplied to the VOUT pin. The output buffer gain is set via external resistors. A power saving shutdown mode reduces current to less than 2?A.The LTC5530 operates with input power levels from -32dBm to 10dBm.*Higher frequency operation is achievable with reduced performance. LTC3415EUHF Demo Board | 2.375 ≤ VIN ≤ 5.5V, VOUT = 0.6V to 5V @ 7A
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration Circuit 725 is a 7A high efficiency, phase-lockable constant frequency buck converter, incorporating the LTC3415 polyphase monolithic synchronous regulator. The DC725 has an input voltage range of 2.375V to 5.5V and an output voltage range from 0.6V to 5V. The output voltage can be set to 1.2V, 1.5V or 1.8V using the appropriate jumper connection, or it can be set to an adjustable value down to 0.6V, the reference voltage of the LTC3415. The DC725 can deliver high power for a monolithic part (up to 7A of output current) due to the high current power switches (28 mΩ of onstate resistance) of the LTC3415.
The LTC3415 can also do polyphase operation, which allows multiple DC725s to be used in parallel for higher current power supplies. Since the parallel LTC3415s can operate out-of-phase, the amount of input and output capacitance required will be minimal.
