The AD7981 is a 16-bit, successive approximation, PulSAR? analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for high temperature operation. The AD7981 is capable of sample rates of up to 600 kSPS while maintaining low power consumption from a single power supply, VDD. It is a fast throughput, high accuracy, high temperature, successive approximation register (SAR) ADC, packaged in a small form factor with a versatile serial port interface (SPI).On the CNV rising edge, the AD7981 samples an analog input, IN+, between 0 V and REF with respect to a ground sense, IN?. The reference voltage, REF, is applied externally and can be set independent of the supply voltage, VDD. The device power scales linearly with throughput.The SPI-compatible serial interface also features the ability, using the SDI input, to daisy-chain several ADCs on a single, 3-wire bus and provides an optional busy indicator. It is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, or 5 V logic, using the separate supply, VIO.For space constrained applications, the AD7981 is available in a 10-lead mini small outline package (MSOP) with operation speci-fied from ?55?C to +175?C and 10-lead ceramic flat package (FLATPACK) with operation specified from ?55?C to +210?C. These packages are designed for robustness at extreme temperatures, including monometallic wire bonding, and are qualified for up to 1000 hours of operation at the maximum temperature rating.The AD7981 is a member of a growing series of high temperature qualified products offered by Analog Devices, Inc. The ADL5545 is a single-ended RF/IF gain block amplifier that provides broadband operation from 30 MHz to 6 GHz. The ADL5545 provides over 36 dBm of OIP3 using only 56 mA from a 5 V supply.The ADL5545 provides a gain of 24 dB, which is stable over frequency, temperature, power supply, and from device to device. The amplifier is offered in the industry-standard SOT-89 package and is internally matched to 50 ? at the input and output, making the ADL5545 very easy to implement in a wide variety of applications. The only external components required are the input/output ac coupling capacitors, power supply decoupling capacitors, and dc bias inductor.The ADL5545 is fabricated on an InGaP HBT process and has a high ESD rating of ?1.5 kV (Class 1C). The ADL5545 is also fully specified for operation across the wide temperature range of ?40?C to +105?C. A fully populated RoHS-compliant evaluation board is available.

The ADG901/ADG902 are wideband switches that use a complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) process to provide high isolation and low insertion loss to 1 GHz. The ADG901 is an absorptive (matched) switch with 50 ? terminated shunt legs, while the ADG902 is a reflective switch. These devices are designed such that the isolation is high over the dc to 1 GHz frequency range. These switches enable the user to pass dc signals up to 0.5 V without the use of a dc blocking capacitor. They have on-board CMOS control logic, thus eliminating the need for external controlling circuitry. The control inputs are both CMOS and LVTTL compatible. Demo board DC2783A features the LT3040, a 200mA high performance, robust voltage reference/DAC buffer. LT3040 has ultralow output noise, ultrahigh power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and low dropout voltage for powering noise sensitive, high accuracy systems.
DC2783A has two inputs: V+ and VIN. V+ supplies power to the buffer, operating over a range from 2V to 20V. VIN is the regulation set-point for the output with a range from 0V to 15V. Current limit is programmable by connecting a resistor, R3, from ILIM to GND. The ILIM can also serve as a current monitor pin with a range from 0V to 300mV.
LT3040 has fast start capability. Connecting FS pin across an input low pass filter resistor, R2, fast starts the LT3040. Fast start circuitry is typically triggered active if VFS − VIN ≥ 100mV and stays active until VFS – VIN ≤ 7mV. If fast start functionality is not needed, connect FS to VIN by setting R2 to 0Ω and applying the input voltage at FS.
LT3040 has a fault flag to indicate faults at the output. Built-in protection includes reverse battery protection, reverse current protection, internal current limit with foldback and thermal limit with hysteresis.

The datasheet must be read in conjunction with this Demo Manual for demonstration circuit DC2783A. The LT3040 is assembled in a 12-lead MSOP and a 10-lead (3mm x 3mm) plastic DFN package with an exposed pad on the bottom-side of the IC. Proper board layout is essential for maximum thermal performance.
