Demonstration circuit 2668A is optimized for evaluation of the LTC5552 passive double-balanced mixer. Its RF port is broadband matched from 3GHz to 20GHz, and the internal LO amplifier, requiring only a 0dBm drive level, is broadband matched to 50Ω from 1GHz to 20GHz with 10dB Return Loss. The differential IF output is usable from DC to 6GHz. The LTC5552 can be used for upconverting and downconverting applications.

LTM4691 Demo Board | Low VIN, High Efficiency, Dual 2A Step-down μModule DC/DC Converter

Demonstration circuit 2910A is low VIN, high efficiency, and dual 2A output µModule DC/DC converter. The board operates by default at a fixed 2MHz and can be synchronized from 1MHz to 3MHz via the MODE/SYNC pin. With its high switching frequency and current mode architecture, a fast transient response to line and load changes is possible without sacrificing stability. The DC2910A can be used in forced continuous mode or pulse skip mode for low noise, or in burst mode operation for high efficiency at light loads. The demo board features the LTM4691, which is available in a low profile 3mm x 4mm x 1.2mm LGA package. Please see the LTM4691 datasheet for more detailed information.
It is recommended to read the data sheet for the LTM4691 prior to making any changes to the DC2910A.

Demonstration Circuit 383B is multipurpose demonstration board featuring the LT1930 and LT1931. The demo board offers three separate DC/DC converters. The Boost circuit is designed to convert a 5V input to 12V output at 300mA maximum load. The SEPIC circuit generates a 12V/300mA output from a 10V~16V variable input. The Inverter circuit is designed for applications requiring -12V/350mA from a positive 12V input.

Demonstration circuit DC674B is a complete Fast Battery Charger capable of charging 3, 4, 6 or 10 series connected NiMH or NiCd cells. Other cell counts can also be charged (up to 16 cells) by installing an appropriate resistor on the board. The power portion of the circuit consists of a 550kHz synchronous step-down constant current source which provides 2A of charge current. Other charge currents can be selected by changing the sense resistor value, and for higher charge current (2 to 4A), the PC board has a dual layout for the top switch to allow a larger FET to be used. A PowerPath™ FET is also included that provides a low voltage drop path between the battery and an external system load when the input power is removed Charge termination includes -ΔV, ΔT/Δt, peak voltage and a safety timer.

Demonstration circuit SCP-LT8362-S-EVALZ features the LT8362 in a SEPIC configuration. It operates with a switching frequency of 2MHz and has an output voltage of 12V.
Like all boards in the Signal Chain Power series, this board is designed to be easily plugged into other SCP boards to form a complete signal chain power system, enabling fast evaluation of low power signal chains. To evaluate this board, some universal SCP hardware is required, namely:

Demonstration circuit 2469A features the LT8603 with triple monolithic buck regulators and the boost channel as SEPIC. The demo circuit is designed for 8V, 5V, 3.3V, and 1.8V outputs from a nominal 12V input. The 4th channel is set as a SEPIC converter and its output is regulated at 8V over a wide input range. The two high voltage buck regulators are powered from VOUT4. VOUT1 is regulated at 5V with 1.5A maximum output load current, and VOUT2 is at 3.3V with 2.5A maximum output load current. The low voltage buck is powered from VOUT2 (3.3V), and the output VOUT3 is regulated at 1.8V with 1.8A maximum load current. Thanks to the SEPIC converter, all four outputs can ride through a cold crank in automotive applications while providing regulated output voltages.

The LTC1435 is a synchronous step-down switching regulator controller that drives external N-channel power MOSFETs using a fixed frequency architecture. Burst Mode? operation provides high efficiency at low load currents. A maximum duty cycle limit of 99% provides low dropout operation which extends operating time in battery-operated systems.The operating frequency is set by an external capacitor allowing maximum flexibility in optimizing efficiency. A secondary winding feedback control pin, SFB, guarantees regulation regardless of load on the main output by forcing continuous operation. Burst Mode operation is inhibited when the SFB pin is pulled low which reduces noise and RF interference.Soft start is provided by an external capacitor which can be used to properly sequence supplies. The operating current level is user-programmable via an external current sense resistor. Wide input supply range allows operation from 3.5V to 30V (36V maximum).For a guaranteed and test minimum on-time refer to the LTC1435A, the 'A' version of the LTC1435. The minimum on-time of the LTC1435A is guaranteed to be ?300ns. The only difference between these two parts is this guaranteed minimum on-time.
