Demonstration circuit 1447A is an adjustable 200mA linear regulator featuring LT3082. Architected as a precision current source and voltage follower, it allows this new regulator to be used in many applications with adjustability to zero output. The LT3082 has an input range of 1.2V to 40V, but the demo board limits this range to 2.8V to 35V. The LT3082 withstands reverse input voltages and reverse output-to-input voltages without reverse-current flow.

The LTC3601 is a high efficiency, monolithic synchronous buck regulator using a phase-lockable controlled on-time, current mode architecture capable of supplying up to 1.5A of output current. The operating supply voltage range is from 4V to 15V, making it suitable for a wide range of power supply applications.The operating frequency is programmable from 800kHz to 4MHz with an external resistor enabling the use of small surface mount inductors. For switching noise sensitive applications, the LTC3601 can be externally synchronized over the same frequency range. An internal phase-locked loop aligns the on-time of the top power MOSFET to the internal or external clock. This unique constant frequency/ controlled on-time architecture is ideal for high step-down ratio applications that demand high switching frequencies and fast transient response.The LTC3601 offers two operational modes: Burst Mode operation and forced continuous mode to allow the user to optimize output voltage ripple, noise, and light load efficiency for a given application. The LTC2391-16 is a low noise, high speed 16-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADC. Operating from a single 5V supply, the LTC2391-16 supports a large ?4.096V fully differential input range, making it ideal for high performance applications which require maximum dynamic range. The LTC2391-16 achieves ?2LSB INL max, no missing codes at 16-bits and 94dB SNR (typ). The LTC2391-16 includes a precision internal reference with a guaranteed 0.5% initial accuracy and a ?20ppm/?C (max) temperature coefficient. Fast 250ksps throughput with no cycle latency in both parallel and serial interface modes makes the LTC2391-16 ideally suited for a wide variety of high speed applications. An internal oscillator sets the conversion time, easing external timing considerations. Demonstration circuit 1526 is a monolithic step-down DC/DC switching regulator featuring the LT3991. The switching frequency is adjustable up to 2MHz. The demo circuit is designed for 3.3V, 1.2A output from a 4.5V to 55V input. The wide input range of the LT3991 allows a variety of input sources including automotive batteries and 24V industrial supplies. Low ripple Burst Mode increases the efficiency at the light load while keeping the output ripple below 15mV. The part is in shutdown when the EN pin is low and active when the pin is high. The threshold of the EN pin is accurate at 1.01V with 30mV of hysteresis. When VIN is above 6V, adding a resistor divider from VIN to EN can program the LT3991 to regulate the output only when VIN is above a desired voltage. The circuit consumes only 2.8μA of quiescent current. The boost diode, control and logic circuit are integrated to reduce the components count and solution size. The current mode control scheme creates fast transient response and good loop stability.
