The ADuM7640?/?ADuM7641?/?ADuM7642?/ ADuM7643 are 6-channel digital isolators based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology. These 1 kV digital isolation devices are packaged in a small 20-lead QSOP. They offer space savings and a lower price than 2.5 kV or 5 kV isolation solutions when only functional isolation is needed.This family, like many Analog Devices isolators, offers very lowpower consumption, using one-tenth to one-sixth the power of other digital isolators, with the supply voltage on either sideranging from 3.0 V to 5.5 V. The LT1999 is a high speed precision current sense amplifier, designed to monitor bidirectional currents over a wide common mode range. The LT1999 is offered in three gain options: 10V/V, 20V/V, and 50V/V.The LT1999 senses current via an external resistive shunt and generates an output voltage, indicating both magnitude and direction of the sensed current. The output voltage is referenced halfway between the supply voltage and ground, or an external voltage can be used to set the reference level. With a 2MHz bandwidth and a common mode input range of ?5V to 80V, the LT1999 is suitable for monitoring currents in H-Bridge motor controls, switching power supplies, solenoid currents, and battery charge currents from full charge to depletion.The LT1999 operates from an independent 5V supply and draws 1.55mA. Demonstration circuit 2506A is a high voltage, currentmode DC/DC step-down converter featuring the LTC3894. The board operates from an input range of 6V to 150V, and provides a 5V, 3A output. The PMOSFET architecture allows it to operate seamlessly up to 100% duty cycle, and function as a saturated switch below the regulation threshold. This application has undervoltage lockout programmed for a 6V minimum input to assure adequate gate drive for the MOSFET. It operates at 150kHz and may be synchronized to an external clock. A soft-start feature controls output voltage slew rate at start-up, reducing current surge and voltage overshoot. Burst Mode operation that improves efficiency at light loads can be enabled with a jumper. A power good output signal is provided. This board is suitable for a wide range of automotive, telecom, industrial, and other applications. The LTC3894 is available in a thermally enhanced 20-pin TSSOP package with skipped leads to accommodate high voltage creepage and clearance requirements.
