The ADAQ23875 is a precision, high speed, ?Module? data acquisition solution that reduces the development cycle of a precision measurement systems by transferring the design burden of component selection, optimization, and layout from the designer to the device.Using system-in-package (SIP) technology, the ADAQ23875 reduces end system component count by combining multiple common signal processing and conditioning blocks in a single device, solving many design challenges. These blocks include a low noise, fully differential analog-to-digital converter (ADC) driver (FDA), a stable reference buffer, and a high speed, 16-bit, 15 MSPS successive approximation register (SAR) ADC.Using Analog Devices, Inc., iPassives? technology, the ADAQ23875 also incorporates crucial passive components with superior matching and drift characteristics to minimize temperature dependent error sources and to offer optimized performance (see Figure 1). The fast settling of the ADC driver stage, with fully differential or single-ended to differential input and no latency of the SAR ADC, provides a unique solution for high channel count multiplexed signal chain architectures and control loop applications.The small footprint, 9 mm ? 9 mm CSP_BGA package enables smaller form factor instruments without sacrificing performance. Single, 5 V supply operation is possible while achieving optimum performance from the device. The ADAQ23875 features a serial low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) digital interface with one-lane or two-lane output modes, allowing the user to optimize the interface data rate for each application. The ADAS3022 is a complete 16-bit, 1 MSPS, successive approximation?based analog-to-digital data acquisition system, which is manufactured on Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary iCMOS? high voltage industrial process technology. The device integrates an 8-channel, low leakage multiplexer; a high impedance programmable gain instrumentation amplifier (PGIA) stage with high common-mode rejection; a precision, low drift 4.096 V reference and buffer; and a 16-bit charge redistribution analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with successive approximation register (SAR) architecture. The ADAS3022 can resolve eight single-ended inputs or four fully differential inputs up to ?24.576 V when using ?15 V supplies. Aninternal no-load threshold ensures that the part does not exhibitany creep when there is no load. The zero-crossing output (ZX)produces a pulse that is synchronized to the zero-crossing pointof the line voltage. The ADE7903 is a nonisolated, 3-channel, ?-? analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for the neutral line of polyphase energymetering applications using shunt current sensors. The ADE7903 can also be used for single-phase energy meteringand other standalone ADC applications. The ADE7903 features three 24-bit ADCs. The current ADC provides a 67 dBFSsignal-to-noise ratio (SNR) over a 3.3 kHz signal bandwidth, whereas the voltage ADCs provide an SNR of 72 dBFS over thesame bandwidth. One channel is dedicated to measuring the voltage across a shunt when the shunt is used for current sensing.Up to two additional channels are dedicated to measuring voltages, which are usually sensed using resistor dividers.One voltage channel can be used to measure the temperature of the die via an internal sensor. The ADE7903 includes threechannels: one current channel and two voltage channels.Together with the ADE7912?/ ADE7913, the ADE7903 providesa small form factor, 3-phase isolated solution with a neutralmeasurement. The three phases are isolated with ADE7912 /ADE7913 devices, while the neutral line is not isolated with theADE7903. The ADE7903 configuration and status registers are accessedvia a bidirectional SPI serial port for easy interfacing withmicrocontrollers.The ADE7903 can be clocked from a crystal or an externalclock signal. To minimize the system bill of materials, themaster ADE7912 / ADE7913 can drive the clocks of up to threeadditional ADE7912 / ADE7913 or ADE7903 devices.Multiple ADE7912 / ADE7913 and ADE7903 devices can besynchronized to sample at the same moment and providecoherent outputs. The ADE7903 can also be used individuallyas a standalone ADC.
