The ADuM4221/ADuM4221-1/ADuM4221-2 are 4 A isolated, half bridge gate drivers that employ the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology to provide independent and isolated high-side and low-side outputs. The ADuM4221/ADuM4221-1/ADuM4221-2 provide 5700 V rms isolation in an increased creepage wide body, 16-lead SOIC_IC. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to the alternatives, such as the combination of pulse transformers and gate drivers.The isolators operate with a logic input voltage ranging from 2.5 V to 6.5 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems. In comparison to gate drivers employing high voltage level translation methodologies, the ADuM4221/ADuM4221-1/ADuM4221-2 offer the benefit of true, galvanic isolation between the input and each output.The ADuM4221/ADuM4221-1/ADuM4221-2 each have built in overlap protection and allow dead time adjustment. A single resistor between the dead time pin (DT) and the GND1 pin sets the dead time on the secondary side between the high-side and the low-side outputs.An internal thermal shutdown (TSD) sets outputs low if the internal temperature on the ADuM4221/ADuM4221-1/ADuM4221-2 exceeds the TSD temperature. The ADXL327 is a small, low power, complete 3-axis accelerometer with signal conditioned voltage outputs. The product measures acceleration with a minimum full-scale range of ?2 g. It can measure the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration, resulting from motion, shock, or vibration.The user selects the bandwidth of the accelerometer using the CX, CY, and CZ capacitors at the XOUT, YOUT, and ZOUT pins. Bandwidths can be selected to suit the application with a range of 0.5 Hz to 1600 Hz for X and Y axes and a range of 0.5 Hz to 550 Hz for the Z axis.The ADXL327 is available in a small, low profile, 4 mm ? 4 mm ? 1.45 mm, 16-lead, plastic lead frame chip scale package (LFCSP_LQ).

ADXL362 Datalogger / Development Board

The ADXL362 Development Board is an easy-to-use tool designed to shorten application development time by enabling data collection and firmware development on an existing hardware platform. To highlight the ultralow power consumption offered by the ADXL362, the board is designed as a low-power platform. Communications and processing are performed by a Renesas RL78/G13 ultralow power microcontroller, and firmware is written in C. An e-paper display shows numeric or graphical output, depending on the firmware loaded. The board is fully programmable via USB, and a development environment and header files are available from Renesas. Schematics and layout are provided so that the platform can be duplicated in the final application, having already been tested with the application firmware. The board is pre-configured as a motion-activated on/off switch. Other firmware examples available are a tilt sensor, a datalogger, and a real-time data viewer (provided with a GUI that graphs real-time acceleration data on a computer screen). The board can be powered over USB, with a CR2450 coin cell battery, or from an external supply. Supplied with the board are the e-paper display, a USB cable, and a microSD card for logging data.
