LTC3221EDC-5 Demo Board | Micropower Regulated Charge Pump, 2.7V ≤ VIN ≤ 5.5V, VOUT = 5V @ Up to 60mA
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 862 is a micropower regulated charge pump DC/DC converter featuring the 60mA output LTC3221 in a 2mm × 2mm DFN package. It comes in three assembly versions, DC862A-A, DC862A-B and DC862A-C, featuring the LTC3221EDC-3.3 (fixed 3.3V output), the LTC3221EDC-5 (fixed 5V output) , and LTC3221EDC (adjustable output set to 3V), respectively. The demo board input voltage range depends on the IC used; for the 5V output DC862A-B, the input voltage range is 2.7V to 5.5V.
The LTC3221's low 8µA no-load quiescent current is even lower than the self-discharging current of many batteries. By employing a constant current to charge the output, the output ripple is low even at high input and light load, and is fairly constant over the full input voltage range.

EV1HMC712ALP3CE
Analog Devices Inc.
The HMC712ALP3CE is an absorptive Voltage Variable Attenuator (VVA) which operates from 5 - 26.5 GHz and is ideal in designs where an analog DC control signal must be used to control RF signal levels over a 28 dB amplitude range. It features two shunt-type attenuators which are controlled by two analog voltages, Vctrl1 and Vctrl2. Optimum linearity performance of the attenuator is achieved by first varying Vctrl1 of the 1st attenuation stage from -5V to 0V with Vctrl2 fixed at -5V. The control voltage of the 2nd attenuation stage, Vctrl2, should then be varied from -5V to 0V, with Vctrl1 fixed at 0V. The HMC712ALP3CE is housed in a RoHS compliant 3x3 mm QFN leadless package.Furthermore, if the Vctrl1 and Vctrl2 pins are connected together it is possible to achieve the full analog attenuation range with only a small degradation in input IP3 performance. Applications include AGC circuits and temperature compensation of multiple gain stages in microwave point-to-point and VSAT radios.Applications Point-to-Point Radio VSAT Radio Test Instrumentation Microwave Sensors Military, ECM & Radar

EV1HMC8362LP6G
Analog Devices Inc.
The HMC8362 is a gallium arsenide (GaAs), quadband, monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) designed to offer wideband capabilities without compromising on phase noise performance. The device integrates four independent, narrow-band VCOs with overlapping frequency bands, operating at a fundamental frequency range of 11.90 GHz to 18.30 GHz. The consistent tuning sensitivity across all frequency bands simplifies the synthesizer loop filter design. The tuning port is common to all VCO cores for a simpler design of the phase-locked loop (PLL) feedback path. The HMC8362 also offers a low typical current consumption of 72 mA for power sensitive applications. The HMC8362 integrates resonators, negative resistance devices, and varactor diodes. The monolithic structure of the oscillator offers very low phase noise, optimal temperature stability, and is immune to vibration and process variation. The four VCOs are packaged in a single, 6 mm ? 6 mm, surface-mount lead frame chip scale package (LFCSP), and require no external matching components. Combined with a high frequency, high performance phase-locked loop (PLL), the ADF41513, the HMC8362 offers a complete RF or microwave frequency generation solution. DC237A
Analog Devices Inc.
The LT1506 is a 500kHz monolithic buck mode switching regulator functionally identical to the LT1374 but optimized for lower input voltage applications. It will operate over a 4V to 15V input range compared with 5.5V to 25V for the LT1374. A 4.5A switch is included on the die along with all the necessary oscillator, control and logic circuitry. High switching frequency allows a considerable reduction in the size of external components. The topology is current mode for fast transient response and good loop stability. Both fixed output voltage and adjustable parts are available. A special high speed bipolar process and new design techniques achieve high efficiency at high switching frequency. Efficiency is maintained over a wide output current range by keeping quiescent supply current to 4mA and by utilizing a supply boost capacitor to saturate the power switch. The LT1506 fits into standard 7-pin DD and fused lead SO-8 packages. Full cycle-by-cycle short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown are provided. Standard surface mount external parts are used, including the inductor and capacitors. There is the optional function of shutdown or synchronization. A shutdown signal reduces supply current to 20?A. Synchronization allows an external logic level signal to increase the internal oscillator from 580kHz to 1MHz.Applications Portable Computers Battery-Powered Systems Battery Charger Distributed Power
