DC2551A-C

Analog Devices Inc.
The LT1997-1 is a difference amplifier that can be used to amplify small differential signals while rejecting large common mode signals making it an ideal choice for current sense applications. It combines a precision operational amplifier with highly-matched resistors to form a one-chip solution to amplify and level shift voltages accurately using no external components. It comes with three standard pin-selectable gain options (10, 20 and 50), which can be further combined to form gains from 0.141 to 80 with accuracy of 0.012% (120ppm). The LT1997-1 also operates with input voltages between V? and V? + 76V (independent of V+), enabling robust operation in demanding industrial environments. Its excellent resistor matching results in a common mode rejection ratio of greater than 109dB (Gain = 10).The resistors maintain their excellent matching over temperature; the matching temperature coefficient is guaranteed less than 1ppm/?C. The resistors are extremely linear with voltage, resulting in a gain nonlinearity of less than 2ppm. The LT1997-1 is fully specified at 5V and ?15V supplies and from ?40?C to 125?C. The device is available in space saving 16-lead MSOP and 4mm ? 4mm DFN14 packages.ApplicationsHigh Side or Low Side Current SensingBidirectional Wide Common Mode Range Current SensingHigh Voltage to Low Voltage Level TranslationIndustrial Data-Acquisition Front-EndsReplacement for Isolation CircuitsDifferential to Single-Ended Conversion

LTM4645 High Efficiency, PolyPhase 75A Step-Down Power µModule Regulator

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 2616A-B features a polyphase design using the LTM4645EY, a 25A high efficiency, switch mode step-down power µModule regulator. The input voltage range is from 6V to 15V. To use DC2616A-B for input voltage range from 4.7V to 6V, connect INTVCC to SVIN (change R22, R42, R55 from OPT to 0Ω), DRVCC to VIN (change R21, R38, R52 from 0Ω to OPT, R2, R39, R53 from OPT to 0Ω). The output voltage range is 0.6V to 1.8V. The DC2616A-B can deliver a nominal 75A output current with three LTM4645 modules in parallel. As explained in the data sheet, output current derating is necessary for certain VIN, VOUT, and thermal conditions. The board operates in continuous conduction mode in heavy load conditions. For high efficiency at low load currents, the MODE_PLLIN jumper selects pulse-skipping mode for noise sensitive applications or burst mode operation in less noise sensitive applications. The MODE_PLLIN pin also allows the LTM4645 to synchronize to an external clock signal. The phase shift between two adjacent phases is 120 degrees. DC2616A-B has the option of choosing both internal and external compensation circuit for LTM4645. The LTM4645 data sheet must be read in conjunction with this demo manual prior to working on or modifying demo circuit DC2616A-B.

LT3045EDD-1 Demo Board | 20V, 2A (4 ICs in Parallel) Ultralow Noise, Ultrahigh PSRR LDO Regulator

Analog Devices Inc.
Demo circuit 2637A features four LT3045EDD-1s in parallel, generating an ultralow noise, ultrahigh power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) low dropout (LDO) regulator with programmable current limit. DC2637A operates over an input range of 3.8V to 20V, and is capable of delivering up to 2A output current by paralleling four LT3045EDD-1s with only 20mΩ ballast resistors. The VIOC tracking function of the LT3045EDD-1 controls an upstream switching converter to maintain a constant voltage across the regulator and hence minimize power dissipation. In the parallel configuration, connect the VIOC pin of only one IC to the switching converter, while the VIOC pins of the other ICs are left floating. The power good feedback (PGFB) pin is used to set a programmable power good threshold, and also activates the fast start-up circuitry. The PGFB is set on only one IC when they are paralleled. LT3045-1 also offers programmable current limit functionality by connecting a resistor from ILIM to GND on each device. Current monitoring is also achieved by sensing the ILIM pin voltage. Built-in protection includes reverse battery protection, reverse current protection, internal current limit with fold-back, and thermal limit with hysteresis. The LT3045-1 data sheet gives a complete description of the device, operation and applications information. The data sheet must be read in conjunction with this demo manual for demonstration circuit 2637A. The LT3045EDD-1 is assembled in a 12-lead (3mm × 3mm) plastic DFN package with an exposed pad on the bottom-side of the IC. Proper board layout is essential for maximum thermal performance.
