The LTC2672 is a family of five-channel, 12-/16-bit current source, digital-to-analog converters (DACs) that provide five high compliance, current source outputs with guaranteed 0.6 V dropout at 200 mA. There are eight current ranges that are programmable per channel with full-scale outputs of up to 300 mA. The channels can be paralleled to allow either ultrafine adjustments of large currents or combined outputs of up to 1.5 A. A dedicated supply pin is provided for each output channel. Each channel can be operated from 2.1 V to VCC, and internal switches allow any output to be pulled to the optional negative supply. The LTC2672 includes a precision integrated 1.25 V reference (10 ppm/?C maximum), with the option to use an external reference. The LTC2686 is an 8-channel, 16-bit, ?15 V digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with an integrated precision reference. The LTC2686 is guaranteed monotonic and has built in rail-to-rail output buffers that can source or sink up to 55 mA. This SoftSpan? DAC offers five output ranges up to ?15 V. The range of each channel is independently programmable.The internal 4.096 V precision reference sets the accuracy of the output voltage. An external reference can be used for additional range options. Three toggle pins support Input Register A and Input Register B toggle or sinusoidal dither at multiple frequencies. LT8338 | 1.2A, 42V Micropower Synchronous Boost Converter

Demonstration circuit DC2907A features the LT8338, a low IQ, Synchronous Boost Converter in a thermally enhanced 10-lead plastic MSOP package. DC2907A is designed to convert a 4V to 16V source to 24V output, with up to 460mA of load current, depending on the input voltage. It was designed with a switching frequency of 2.2MHz. DC2907A contains a selectable jumper, JP1, to aid in the selection of any of the five modes of operation. The default setting is Burst mode. This converter features Spread Spectrum Frequency Modulation, SSFM. The input and output filters installed on the PCB help suppress EMI noise, but the use of SSFM makes it easier to pass CISPR25 class 5 conducted and radiated emissions testing for automotive vehicles. To perform an EMI evaluation for this converter include the input filter by connecting the input source to the VEMI terminal and select the Burst+SSFM JP1 setting. EMI filters may not be necessary for all applications. For a lower parts count and BOM cost EMI filters can be removed. To do so, replace FB1 and FB2 with a zero ohm jumpers and remove all input and output filter components located inside the dashed-line rectangles on the schematic, plus C1 and C13. Proper board layout is essential for maximum thermal performance. See the datasheet section “Thermal Considerations”. DC2909A showcases the LTC4284 high power, negative hot swap controller with telemetry and EEPROM in a –48V, 31A (1500W) application. DC2909A is configured for parallel mode, which offers reliable low cost hot plug solution for high power systems where input steps are imminent. Included on board is isolation for power good control pins, to enable downstream power converters. LEDs indicate the presence of –48V input and output as well as the state of both supply feeds and power good signaling. High voltage layout rules are followed throughout for best long-term product reliability. Headers are provided for three I2C interfaces, providing instant access to voltage, current, power, energy, fault log, and board temperature data.

The LTC4238 is a high voltage high current Hot Swap controller that allows a board to be safely inserted and removed from a live backplane. Dual 12V gate drive is well suited for high power applications to either share safe operating area across parallel MOSFETs or support a 2-stage start-up that first charges the load capacitance followed by enabling a low on-resistance path to the load.The device features active current limiting (ACL) with two foldback options as VDS increases. The constant power profile limits the power dissipation to be no higher than a fixed value, while the high power profile allows the part to ride through large input steps during operation.The LTC4238 notifies when output power is good. The LTC3336 is a compact high efficiency nanopower hysteretic buck DC/DC which can deliver up to 250mA of output current from a 2.5V to 15V input. Input quiescent current is typically 80nA with the output in regulation at no load for output voltages less than 2.4V; this number is reduced further for higher output voltages at which internal circuits can be boot-strapped from the output.
