EVAL-ADIN1300FMCZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADIN1300 is a low power, single port, Gigabit Ethernet transceiver with low latency and power consumption specifications primarily designed for industrial Ethernet applications. This design integrates an energy efficient Ethernet (EEE) physical layer device (PHY) core with all associated common analog circuitry, input and output clock buffering, management interface and subsystem registers, and MAC interface and control logic to manage the reset and clock control and pin configuration. The ADIN1300 is available in a 6 mm ? 6 mm, 40-lead lead frame chip scale package (LFCSP). The device operates with a minimum of 2 power supplies, 0.9 V and 3.3 V, assuming the use of a 3.3 V MAC interface supply. For maximum flexibility in system level design, a separate VDDIO supply enables the management data input/output (MDIO) and MAC interface supply voltages to be configured independently of the other circuitry on the ADIN1300, allowing operation at 1.8 V, 2.5 V, or 3.3 V. At power-up, the ADIN1300 is held in hardware reset until each of the supplies has crossed its minimum rising threshold value. Brown-out protection is provided by monitoring the supplies to detect if one or more supply drops below a minimum falling threshold (see Table 17 on the datasheet), and holding the device in hardware reset until the power supplies return and satisfy the power-on reset (POR) circuit. The MII management interface (also referred to as MDIO interface) provides a 2-wire serial interface between a host processor or MAC (also known as management station (STA)) and the ADIN1300, allowing access to control and status information in the PHY core management registers. The interface is compatible with both the IEEE 802.3 Standard Clause 22 and Clause 45 management frame structures. The ADIN1300 can support cable lengths up to 150 meters at Gigabit speeds and 180 meters when operating at 100 Mbps or 10 Mbps.Applications Industrial automation Process control Factory automation Robotics/Motion Control Building automation Test and Measurement Industrial IoT

LT3950 Demo Board | 60V 1.5A LED Driver with Internal Log-Scale Dimming

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 2788A is a boost LED driver featuring the LT®3950. This demonstration circuit powers a string of LEDs at 330mA. The step-up topology can be used to drive a string of up to 28V of LEDs as assembled. The maximum output voltage capability of the LT3950 is 60V. DC2788A runs from an input voltage range of 6V to 24V as built. It also runs at 2MHz and has the capability to turn on spread spectrum frequency modulation (SSFM) for a frequency range of 2.0MHz to 2.5MHz. Dimming control can be achieved with analog dimming or PWM dimming—either from an external or internally-generated clock source. DC2788A features undervoltage lockout (UVLO) set at 6.6V with a 1.0V hysteresis for turn-on. The UVLO voltage, LED current, output voltage range, switching frequency, brightness control, SSFM, and the topology can all be adjusted with simple modifications to the demonstration circuit. LT3950 is a monolithic 1.5A peak switch current, 60V LED driver. The guaranteed peak switch current rating of the IC is 1.5A and this is important to know when calculating maximum output current at a given LED voltage and input voltage for a boost converter. The LT3950 features SSFM and a well-controlled SW node for low emissions. A frequency range of 200kHz to 2MHz and a high-side PWMTG PWM-dimming MOSFET makes this a very versatile IC for many applications. It can be used for boost, buck-boost mode and buck mode LED driver applications. The PWMTG MOSFET not only provides high PWM dimming ratio capability, but it also serves as a short-circuit protection device. The FAULT flag indicates when there is either a short-circuit or open-LED fault at the output. The demo circuit is designed to be easily reconfigured to suit other applications, including the example schematics in the data sheet. Consult technical support for assistance. High voltage operation, 3V input voltage operation, multiple topologies, small-and-compact size, fault protection, low EMI, and multiple brightness control options make the LT3950 flexible and powerful for compact, noise-sensitive LED driver solutions. The LT3950JMSE featured on this demo circuit is available in a thermally enhanced 16-lead plastic MSOP package. The LT3950 data sheet must be read in conjunction with this demo manual to properly use or modify demo circuit DC2788A.

The ICdelivers a versatile combination of high performance and low power consumption required by 3G/4G micro and macro BTSequipment in both FDD and TDD applications. The AD9371operates from 300 MHz to 6000 MHz, covering most of the licensed and unlicensed cellular bands. The IC supports receiver bandwidths up to 100 MHz. It also supports observation receiver and transmit synthesis bandwidths up to 250 MHz to accommodate digital correction algorithms. The transceiver consists of wideband direct conversion signalpaths with state-of-the-art noise figure and linearity. Each complete receiver and transmitter subsystem includes dc offset correction, quadrature error correction (QEC), and programmable digitalfilters, eliminating the need for these functions in the digitalbaseband. Several auxiliary functions such as an auxiliary analog-to-digital converter (ADC), auxiliary digital-to-analog converters (DACs), and general-purpose input/outputs (GPIOs) are integratedto provide additional monitoring and control capability. An observation receiver channel with two inputs is included to monitor each transmitter output and implement interference mitigation and calibration applications. This channel also connects to three sniffer receiver inputs that can monitor radio activity in different bands. The high speed JESD204B interface supports lane rates up to 6144 Mbps. Four lanes are dedicated to the transmitters and four lanes are dedicated to the receiver and observation receiver channels. The fully integrated phase-locked loops (PLLs) provide high performance, low power fractional-N frequency synthesis forthe transmitter, the receiver, the observation receiver, and theclock sections. Careful design and layout techniques provide theisolation demanded in high performance base station applications. All voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) and loop filter components are integrated to minimize the external component count. A 1.3 V supply is required to power the core of the AD9371, anda standard 4-wire serial port controls it. Other voltage supplies provide proper digital interface levels and optimize transmitterand auxiliary converter performance. The AD9371 is packaged in a12 mm ? 12 mm, 196-ball chip scale ball grid array (CSP_BGA).Applications 3G/4G micro and macro base stations (BTS) 3G/4G multicarrier picocells? LTC3614EUDD Demo Board | 4A, 4MHz Monolithic Synchronous Step-Down DC/DC Converter

Analog Devices Inc.
Demo Circuit 1467 is a high efficiency, high frequency step-down converter, incorporating the LTC3614 monolithic synchronous regulator. The DC1467A has an input voltage range of 2.25V to 5.5V, and is capable of delivering up to 4A of output current. The output voltage of the DC1467A can be set as low as 0.6V, the reference voltage of the LTC3614. The operating frequency range of the DC1467A is either set to a fixed 2.25 MHz by connecting the frequency pin to SVin, set by an external resistor, or synchronized to an external clock, with a range up to 4 MHz. At low load currents, the DC1467A can operate in either noise sensitive applications, due to the capability of the LTC3614 to operate in pulse-skipping mode, or in high efficiency applications, because the LTC3614 also has Burst-Mode capability. The Burst Mode clamp can be set externally.
