The MAX16932/MAX16933 offer two high-voltage, synchronous step-down controllers that use only 20µA of quiescent current with no load. They operate with an input voltage supply from 3.5V to 42V and can operate in drop-out condition by running at 95% duty cycle. The devices are intended for applications with mid- to high-power requirements and requiring two independently controlled output supplies, such as automotive applications. The MAX16932/MAX16933 step-down controllers operate 180° out-of-phase for reduced input ripple. The devices also operate with switching frequencies up to 2.2MHz to allow use of small external components and to guarantee no AM band interference. The FSYNC input programmability enables three frequency modes for optimized performance: forced fixed-frequency operation, skip mode with ultra-low quiescent current (20µA), and synchronization to an external clock. The devices provide a spread-spectrum option to minimize EMI interference. The devices also feature a power-OK monitor and overvoltage and undervoltage lockout. Protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limit and thermal shutdown. The MAX11905 is a 20-bit, 1.6Msps, single-channel, fully differential SAR ADC with internal reference buffers. The MAX11905 provides excellent static and dynamic performance with best-in-class power consumption that directly scales with throughput. The device has a unipolar differential ±VREF input range. Supplies include a 3.3V supply for the reference buffers, a 1.8V analog supply, a 1.8V digital supply, and a 1.5V to 3.6V digital interface supply.This ADC achieves 98.3dB SNR and -123dB THD, guarantees 20-bit resolution with no-missing codes and 6 LSB INL (max).The MAX11905 communicates data using a SPI-compatible serial interface. The MAX12934-MAX12935 are fast, low-power, 2-channel digital galvanic isolators using Maxim’s proprietary process technology. These devices transfer digital signals between circuits with different power domains while using as little as 0.65mW per channel at 1Mbps with a 1.8V supply.The two channels of the MAX12935 transfer data in opposite directions, making the MAX12935 ideal for isolating the TX and RX lines of a transceiver. The two channels of the MAX12934 transfer data in the same direction.The MAX12934/MAX12935 have an isolation rating of 5kVRMS for 60 seconds. Both devices are available with a maximum data rate of either 25Mbps or 200Mbps and with outputs that are either default-high or default-low. The default is the state the output assumes when the input is not powered or if the input is open-circuit. Independent 1.71V to 5.5V supplies on each side of the isolator also make the devices suitable for use as level translators.The MAX12934/MAX12935 are available in a 16-pin, wide-body SOIC package. The package material has a minimum comparative tracking index (CTI) of 600V, which gives it a group I rating in creepage tables. The MAX20050–MAX20053 are high-brightness LED (HBLED) drivers for automotive exterior lighting applications.Consisting of a fully synchronous step-down converterwith integrated MOSFETs, the devices are capable ofdriving a series string of LEDs at up to 2A, with a minimumnumber of external components. The MAX20050/MAX20052 utilize internal loop compensation to minimizecomponent count, while the MAX20051/MAX20053/MAX20053D useexternal compensation for full flexibility.The wide 4.5V to 65V input supply range supports extremeautomotive cold crank and load-dump conditions. A low- andhigh-switching frequency option (400kHz or 2.1MHz)provides the designer with the flexibility to optimize forsolution size or efficiency, while avoiding interferencewithin the AM band. Spread spectrum provides furtheroptions for the designer to reduce EMI at the system level.The MAX20050/MAX20051 have an internal switchingfrequency of 400kHz, while the MAX20052/MAX20053have an internal switching frequency of 2.1MHz. In addition,the MAX20051B has spread spectrum disabled.High-side current regulation means only a singleconnection to the LED string is required; grounding of thestring can be done locally. In addition to PWM dimming,the ICs provide analog dimming using the REFI pin. Fullscalecurrent regulation accuracy is ±2.5%, while theaccuracy is ±8% at 10% of full-scale over the full temperaturerange of -40°C to +125°C. A 5V, 10mA LDO output isavailable for biasing other circuits.Fault-protection mechanisms include output overload,short-circuit, and device overtemperature protection. The MAX17606 is a secondary-side synchronous driver and controller specifically designed for the isolated flyback topology operating in Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM) or Border Conduction Mode (BCM). By replacing the secondary diode with a MOSFET, the device improves the efficiency and simplifies thermal management. The 7V VDRV of the device makes it suitable for switching both logic-level and standard MOSFETs used for flyback synchronous rectification. The 36V input voltage allows it to drive from either the output voltage or rectified drain voltage of the secondary MOSFET. Programmable minimum on and off-times provide flexibility needed to handle transformer parasitic element-related ringing in a robust manner.
