AD8221ARMZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8221 is a gain programmable, high performance instrumentation amplifier that delivers the industry’s highest CMRR over frequency in its class. The CMRR of instrumentation amplifiers on the market today falls off at 200 Hz. In contrast, the AD8221 maintains a minimum CMRR of 80 dB to 10 kHz for all grades at G = 1. High CMRR over frequency allows the AD8221 to reject wideband interference and line harmonics, greatly simplifying filter requirements. Possible applications include precision data acquisition, biomedical analysis, and aerospace instrumentation. Low voltage offset, low offset drift, low gain drift, high gain accuracy, and high CMRR make this part an excellent choice in applications that demand the best dc performance possible, such as bridge signal conditioning. Programmable gain affords the user design flexibility. A single resistor sets the gain from 1 to 1000. The AD8221 operates on both single and dual supplies and is well suited for applications where ±10 V input voltages are encountered. The AD8221 is available in a low cost 8-lead SOIC and 8-lead MSOP, both of which offer the industry’s best performance. The MSOP requires half the board space of the SOIC, making it ideal for multichannel or space-constrained applications. Performance is specified over the entire industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C for all grades. Furthermore, the AD8221 is operational from −40°C to +125°C*. ApplicationsWeigh scales Industrial process controls Bridge amplifiers Precision data acquisition systems Medical instrumentation Strain gages Transducer interfaces

AD8274ARMZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8274 is a difference amplifier that delivers excellent ac and dc performance. Built on Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary iPolar® process and laser-trimmed resistors, AD8274 achieves a breakthrough in distortion vs. current consumption and has excellent gain drift, gain accuracy, and CMRR.Distortion in the audio band is an extremely low 0.00025% (112 dB) at a gain of ½ and 0.00035% (109 dB) at a gain of 2 while driving a 600 Ω load. With supply voltages up to ±18 V (+36 V single supply), the AD8274 is well suited for measuring large industrial signals. Additionally, the part’s resistor divider architecture allows it to measure voltages beyond the supplies. With no external components, the AD8274 can be configured as a G = ½ or G = 2 difference amplifier. For single-ended applications that need high gain stability or low distortion performance, the AD8274 can also be configured for several gains ranging from −2 to +3.The excellent distortion and dc performance of the AD8274, along with its high slew rate and bandwidth, make it an excellent ADC driver. Because of the part’s high output drive, it also makes a very good cable driver. The AD8274 only requires 2.6 mA maximum supply current. It is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C and is fully RoHS compliant. For the dual version, see the AD8273 data sheet.Applications ADC driver High performance audio Instrumentation amplifier building blocks Level translators Automatic test equipment Sine/cosine encoders

The AD5337 / AD5338 / AD5339 are dual 8-, 10-, and 12-bit buffered voltage output DACs, respectively. Each part is housed in an 8-lead MSOP package and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply, consuming 250 μA at 3 V. On-chip output amplifiers allow rail-to-rail output swing with a slew rate of 0.7 V/μs. A 2-wire serial interface operates at clock rates up to 400 kHz. This interface is SMBus compatible at VDD < 3.6 V. Multiple devices can be placed on the same bus.The references for the two DACs are derived from one reference pin. The outputs of all DACs can be updated simultaneously using the software LDAC function. The parts incorporate a power-on reset circuit to ensure that the DAC outputs power up to 0 V and remain there until a valid write to the device takes place. A software clear function resets all input and DAC registers to 0 V. A power-down feature reduces the current consumption of the devices to 200 nA @ 5 V (80 nA @ 3 V).The low power consumption of these parts in normal operation makes them ideally suited to portable battery-operated equipment. The power consumption is typically 1.5 mW at 5 V and 0.75 mW at 3 V, reducing to 1 μW in power-down mode.APPLICATIONS Portable battery-powered instruments Digital gain and offset adjustment Programmable voltage and current sources Programmable attenuators Industrial process control

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD623 is an integrated, single- or dual-supply instrumentation amplifier that delivers rail-to-rail output swing using supply voltages from 2.7 V to 12 V. The AD623 offers user flexibility by allowing single gain set resistor programming and by conforming to the 8-lead industry standard pinout configuration. With no external resistor, the AD623 is configured for unity gain (G = 1), and with an external resistor, the AD623 can be programmed for gains of up to 1000.The accuracy of the AD623 is the result of increasing ac common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) coincident with increasing gain. Line noise harmonics are rejected due to constant CMRR up to 200 Hz. The AD623 has a wide input common-mode range and amplifies signals with common-mode voltages as low as 150 mV below ground. The AD623 maintains optimal performance with dual and single polarity power supplies.Applications Low power medical instrumentation Transducer interfaces Thermocouple amplifiers Industrial process controls Difference amplifiers Low power data acquisition
