ADA4940-1ACPZ-R2
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADA4940-1 / ADA4940-2 are low noise, low distortion differential amplifiers with very low power consumption. They are an ideal choice for driving low power, high resolution, high performance SAR and sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with resolutions up to 18 bits from dc to 1 MHz on only 1.25 mA of quiescent current. The adjustable level of the output common-mode voltage allows the ADA4940-1/ ADA4940-2 to match the input common-mode voltage of multiple ADCs. The internal common-mode feedback loop provides exceptional output balance, as well as suppression of even-order harmonic distortion products. With the ADA4940-1 / ADA4940-2, differential gain configurations are easily realized with a simple external feedback network of four resistors determining the closed-loop gain of the amplifier. The ADA4940-1 / ADA4940-2 are fabricated using Analog Devices, Inc., complementary bipolar process, enabling them to achieve very low levels of distortion with an input voltage noise of only 3.9 nV/√Hz. The low dc offset and excellent dynamic performance of the ADA4940-1 / ADA4940-2 make them well suited for a variety of data acquisition and signal processing applications. The ADA4940-1 is available in a Pb-free, 3 mm × 3 mm, 16-lead LFCSP. The ADA4940-2 is available in a Pb-free, 4 mm × 4 mm, 24-lead LFCSP. The pinout is optimized to facilitate printed circuit board (PCB) layout and minimize distortion. The ADA4940-1 / ADA4940-2 are specified to operate over the −40°C to +125°C temperature range.Applications Low power ADC drivers Single-ended-to-differential converters Differential buffers Line drivers Medical Imaging Industrial Process Control Portable Electronics

SSM2518CBZ-RL
Analog Devices Inc.
The SSM2518 is a digital input, Class-D power amplifier that combinesa digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and a sigma-delta(Σ-Δ) Class-D modulator. This unique architecture enablesextremely low real-world power consumption from digitalaudio sources with excellent audio performance. The SSM2518is ideal for power sensitive applications, such as mobile phonesand portable media players, where system noise can corruptsmall analog signals such as those sent to an analog input audioamplifier.Using the SSM2518, audio data can be transmitted to the amplifierover a standard digital audio serial interface, thereby significantlyreducing the effect of noise sources such as GSM interference orother digital signals on the transmitted audio. The closed-loopdigital input design retains the benefits of an all digital amplifier, yet enables very good PSRR and audio performance. The threelevel, Σ-Δ Class-D modulator is designed to provide the leastamount of EMI interference, the lowest quiescent power dissipation, and the highest audio efficiency without sacrificingaudio quality.Input is provided via a serial audio interface, programmable toaccept all common audio formats including I2S and TDM. Controlof the IC is provided via an I2C control interface. The SSM2518can accept a variety of input MCLK frequencies and can useBCLK as the clock source in some configurations.Additional features include a soft digital volume control, deemphasis, and a programmable digital dynamic rangecompressor. The architecture of the SSM2518 provides a solution that offerslower power and higher performance than existing DAC plusClass-D solutions. Its digital interface also offers a better systemsolution for other products whose sole audio source is digital, such as wireless speakers, laptop PCs, portable digital televisions, and navigation systems.Applications Mobile phones Portable media players Laptop PCs Wireless speakers Portable gaming Small LCD televisions Navigation systems

The AD8624 is a quad, precision rail-to-rail output operational amplifier with a low supply current of only 350 μA maximumover temperature and supply voltages. It offers low offset, drift, and voltage noise combined with very low input bias currentsover the full operating temperature range. With typical offset voltage of only 10 μV, offset drift of 0.5 μV/°C,and noise of only 0.2 μV p-p (0.1 Hz to 10 Hz), they are perfectly suited for applications where large error sources cannot be tolerated. Many systems can take advantage of the low noise, dc precision, and rail-to-rail output swing provided by the AD8622/AD8624 to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range for low power operation. The AD8622/ AD8624 are specified for the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C. The AD8622 is available in lead-free 8-lead SOIC and MSOP packages, while the AD8624 is available in lead-free 14-lead TSSOP and 16-lead LFCSP packages.Applications Portable precision instrumentation Laser diode control loops Strain gage amplifiers Medical instrumentation Thermocouple amplifiers

AD8429ARZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8429 is an ultralow noise, instrumentation amplifier designed for measuring extremely small signals over a wide temperature range (−40°C to +125°C).The AD8429 excels at measuring tiny signals. It delivers ultralow input noise performance of 1 nV/√Hz. The high CMRR of the AD8429 prevents unwanted signals from corrupting the acqui-sition. The CMRR increases as the gain increases, offering high rejection when it is most needed. The high performance pin configuration of the AD8429 allows it to reliably maintain high CMRR at frequencies well beyond those of typical instrumentation amplifiers. The AD8429 reliably amplifies fast changing signals. Its current feedback architecture provides high bandwidth at high gain, for example, 1.2 MHz at G = 100. The design includes circuitry to im-prove settling time after large input voltage transients. The AD8429 was designed for excellent distortion performance, allowing use in demanding applications such as vibration analysis.Gain is set from 1 to 10,000 with a single resistor. A reference pin allows the user to offset the output voltage. This feature can be useful to shift the output level when interfacing to a single supply signal chain. The AD8429 performance is specified over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C. It is available in an 8-lead plastic SOIC package.APPLICATIONSMedical instrumentationPrecision data acquisitionMicrophone preamplificationVibration analysis

The single ADA4077-1, dual ADA4077-2, and quad ADA4077-4amplifiers feature extremely low offset voltage and drift, and lowinput bias current, noise, and power consumption. Outputs are stable with capacitive loads of more than 1000 pF with no external compensation.Applications for this amplifier include sensor signal conditioning (such as thermocouples, resistance temperature detectors (RTDs),strain gages), process control front-end amplifiers, and precisiondiode power measurement in optical and wireless transmission systems. The ADA4077-1/ADA4077-2/ADA4077-4 are useful in line powered and portable instrumentation, precision filters, and voltage or current measurement and level setting.Unlike other amplifiers, the ADA4077-1/ADA4077-2/ADA4077-4 have an MSL1 rating that is compliant with the most stringent of assembly processes, and they are specified over theextended industrial temperature range from −40°C to +125°C for the most demanding operating environments.APPLICATIONS Process control front-end amplifiers Optical network control circuits Instrumentation Precision sensors and controls Precision filters
