The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 are the next generation of the AD820/AD822/AD824 single-supply, rail-to-rail output (RRO), precision junction field effect transistors (JFET) input op amps. The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 include many improvements that make them desirable as upgrades without compromising the flexibility and ease of use that makes the AD820/AD822/AD824 useful for a wide variety of applications.The input voltage range includes the negative supply and the output swings rail-to-rail. Input EMI filters increase the signal robustness in the face of closely located switching noise sources.The speed, in terms of bandwidth and slew rate, increases along with a strong output drive to improve settling time performance and enables the devices to drive the inputs of modern single-ended, successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).Voltage noise is reduced; although the supply current remains the same as the AD820/AD822/AD824, broadband noise is reduced by 25%, and 1/f is reduced by half. DC precision in the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 improved from the AD820/AD822/AD824 with half the offset and a maximum thermal drift specification added to the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4. The common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) is improved from the AD820/AD822/AD824 to make the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 more suitable when used in noninverting gain and difference amplifier configurations.The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 are specified for operation over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C, and operate from 5 V to 30 V, with specifications at +5 V, ±5 V, and ±15 V. The ADA4805-1 is a high speed voltage feedback rail-to-rail output amplifier with an exceptionally low quiescent current of 495 μA, making it ideal for low power, high resolution data conversion systems. Despite being low power, this amplifier provides excellent overall performance. It offers a high bandwidth of 105 MHz at a gain of 1, high slew rate of 160 V/μs, and a low input offset voltage of 125 μV maximum.A shutdown pin allows further reduction of the quiescent supply current to 3 μA. For power sensitive applications, the shutdown mode offers very fast turn-on time of 3 μs from shutdown to fully on (output settled to 16 bits). This allows the user to dynamically manage the power of the amplifier by turning the amplifier off between ADC samples.The Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary extra fast complementary bipolar (XFCB) process allows for both low voltage and low current noise (5.9 nV/√Hz, 0.6 pA/√Hz). The ADA4806-1 is a high speed, voltage feedback, rail-to-rail output, single operational amplifier with three power modes: full power mode, sleep mode, and shutdown mode. In full power mode, this amplifier provides a wide bandwidth of 105 MHz at a gain of +1, a fast slew rate 160 V/μs, and excellent dc precision with a low input offset voltage of 125 μV (maximum) and an input offset voltage drift of 1.5 μV/°C (maximum), while consuming only 500 μA of quiescent current. Despite being a low power amplifier, the ADA4806-1 provides excellent overall performance, making it ideal for low power, high resolution data conversion systems.For data conversion applications where minimizing power dissipation is paramount, the ADA4806-1 offers a method to reduce power by dynamically scaling the quiescent power of the ADC driver with the sampling rate of the system by switching the amplifier to a lower power mode between samples.Sleep mode reduces the amplifier quiescent current to 74 μA and provides a fast turn-on time of only 0.45 μs, enabling the use of dynamic power scaling for sample rates approaching 2 MSPS. For additional power savings at lower samples rates, the shutdown mode further reduces the quiescent current to only 2.9 μA.The ADA4806-1 operates over a wide range of supply voltages and is fully specified at supplies of 3 V, 5 V and ±5 V. The AD823A is a dual precision, 17 MHz, JFET input op amp manufactured in the extra fast complementary bipolar (XFCB) process. The AD823A can operate from a single supply of 3 V to 36 V or from dual supplies of ±1.5 V to ±18 V. It has true single-supply capability with an input voltage range extending below ground in single-supply mode. Output voltage swing extends to within 20 mV of each rail for IOUT ≤ 100 μA, providing outstanding output dynamic range. It also has a linear output current of 40 mA, 0.5 V from the supply rails.An offset voltage of 700 μV maximum, an offset voltage drift of 1 μV/°C, and typical input bias currents of 0.3 pA provide dc precision with source impedances up to 1 GΩ. The AD823A provides 17 MHz, −3 dB bandwidth, and a 30 V/μs slew rate with a low supply current of only 2.6 mA per amplifier. It also provides low input voltage noise of 14 nV/√Hz and −108 dB SFDR at 20 kHz. The AD823A has low input capacitances (0.6 pF differential and 1.3 pF common mode) and drives more than 500 pF of direct capacitive load as a follower. The AD8417 is a high voltage, high resolution current shunt amplifier. It features an initial gain of 60 V/V, with a maximum ±0.3% gain error over the entire temperature range. The buffered output voltage directly interfaces with any typical converter. The AD8417 offers excellent input common-mode rejection from −2 V to +70 V. The AD8417 performs bidirectional current measurements across a shunt resistor in a variety of automotive and industrial applications, including motor control, power management, and solenoid control.The AD8417 offers breakthrough performance throughout the −40°C to +150°C temperature range. It features a zero drift core, which leads to a typical offset drift of 0.1 µV/°C throughout the operating temperature range and the common-mode voltage range. The AD8417 is qualified for automotive applications. The device includes EMI filters and patented circuitry to enable output accuracy with pulse-width modulation (PWM) type input common-mode voltages. The typical input offset voltage is ±200 µV.
