ADA4805-1AKSZ-R7
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADA4805-1 is a high speed voltage feedback rail-to-rail output amplifier with an exceptionally low quiescent current of 495 μA, making it ideal for low power, high resolution data conversion systems. Despite being low power, this amplifier provides excellent overall performance. It offers a high bandwidth of 105 MHz at a gain of 1, high slew rate of 160 V/μs, and a low input offset voltage of 125 μV maximum.A shutdown pin allows further reduction of the quiescent supply current to 3 μA. For power sensitive applications, the shutdown mode offers very fast turn-on time of 3 μs from shutdown to fully on (output settled to 16 bits). This allows the user to dynamically manage the power of the amplifier by turning the amplifier off between ADC samples. The Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary extra fast complementary bipolar (XFCB) process allows for both low voltage and low current noise (5.9 nV/√Hz, 0.6 pA/√Hz). The ADA4805-1 operates over a wide range of supply voltages from ±1.5 V to ±5 V, as well as from single 3 V and 5 V supplies, making it ideal for high speed, low power instruments. The ADA4805-1 amplifier is available in both a 6-lead SOT-23 and a 6-lead SC70 package. These amplifiers are rated to work over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.Applications High resolution, high precision ADC drivers Battery-powered instrumentation Micropower active filters Portable point of sales terminals Active RFID readers Photo multipliers ADC reference buffers

AD790JRZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD790 is a fast (45 ns), precise voltage comparator, with a number of features that make it exceptionally versatile and easy to use. The AD790 may operate from either a single +5 V supply or a dual ±15 V supply. In the single-supply mode, the AD790's inputs maybe referred to ground, a feature not found in other comparators. In the dual-supply mode it has the unique ability of handling a maximum differential voltage of 15 V across its input terminals, easing their interfacing to large amplitude and dynamic signals. The device is fabricated using Analog Devices' Complementary Bipolar (CB) process - which gives the AD790's combination of fast response time and outstanding input voltage resolution (1mV max). To preserve its speed and accuracy, the AD790 incorporates a 'low glitch' output stage that does not exhibit the large current spikes normally found in TTL or CMOS output stages. Its controlled switching reduces power supply disturbances that can feed back to the input and cause undesired oscillations. The AD790 also has a latching function which makes it suitable for applications requiring synchronous operation. The AD790 is available in five performance grades. The AD790J and the AD790K are rated over the commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. The AD790a and AD790B are rated over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. The AD790S is rated over the military temperature range of −55°C to +125°C and is available to MIL-STD-883B, Rev. C.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS The AD790’s combination of speed, precision, versatility and low cost makes it suitable as a general purpose comparator in analog signal processing and data acquisition systems. Built-in hysteresis and a low-glitch output stage minimize the chance of unwanted oscillations, making the AD790 easier to use than standard open-loop comparators. The hysteresis combined with a wide input voltage range enables the AD790 to respond to both slow, low level (e.g., 10 mV) signals and fast, large amplitude (e.g., 10 V) signals. A wide variety of supply voltages is acceptable for operation of the AD790, ranging from single 5 V to dual +5 V/–12 V, ±5 V, or +5 V/±15 V supplies. The AD790’s power dissipation is the lowest of any comparator in its speed range. The AD790’s output swing is symmetric between VLOGIC and ground, thus providing a predictable output under a wide range of input and output conditions.APPLICATIONS Zero-Crossing Detectors Overvoltage Detectors Pulse-Width Modulators Precision Rectifiers Discrete A/D Converters Delta-Sigma Modulator A/Ds

AD797ARZ-REEL7
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD797 is a very low noise, low distortion operational amplifier ideal for use as a preamplifier. The low noise of 0.9 nV√Hz and low total harmonic distortion of -120 dB at audio bandwidths give the AD797 the wide dynamic range necessary for preamps in microphones and mixing consoles.Furthermore, the AD797's excellent slew rate of 20 V/µs and 110 MHz gain bandwidth make it highly suitable for low frequency ultrasound applications. The AD797 is also useful in IR and Sonar Imaging applications where the widest dynamic range is necessary. The low distortion and 16-bit settling time of the AD797 make it ideal for buffering the inputs to Sigma Delta ADCs or the outputs of high resolution DACs especially when they are used in critical applications such as seismic detection and spectrum analyzers. Key features such as a 50 mA output current drive and the specified power supply voltage range of ±5 to ±15 volts make the AD797 an excellent general purpose amplifier.APPLICATIONS Professional audio preamplifiers IR, CCD, and sonar imaging systems Spectrum analyzers Ultrasound preamplifiers Seismic detectors Σ-Δ ADC/DAC buffers

The AD8022 consists of two low noise, high speed, voltage feedback amplifiers. Each amplifier consumes only 4.0 mA of quiescent current, yet has only 2.5 nV/√Hz of voltage noise. These dual amplifiers provide wideband, low distortion performance, with high output current optimized for stability when driving capacitive loads. Manufactured on ADI's high voltage generation of XFCB bipolar process, the AD8022 operates on a wide range of supply voltages. The AD8022 is available in both an 8-lead MSOP and an 8-lead SOIC. Fast over voltage recovery and wide bandwidth make the AD8022 ideal as the receive channel front end to an ADSL, VDSL, or proprietary xDSL transceiver design. In an xDSL line interface circuit, the AD8022's op amps can be configured as the differential receiver from the line transformer or as independent active filters.

AD8040ARZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8040 is a quad, rail-to-rail input and output high speed amplifier with a quiescent current of only 1.3 mA per amplifier. Despite its low power consumption, the amplifier provides excellent performance with 125MHz small signal bandwidth and 60 V/µs slew rate. ADI's proprietary XFCB process enables high speed and high performance on low power. This amplifier exhibits true single-supply operation with rail-to-rail input and output performance for supply voltages ranging from 2.7V to 12V. The input voltage range extends 200 mV beyond each rail without phase reversal. The dynamic range of the output extends to within 40 mV of each rail. The AD8040 provides excellent signal quality with minimal power dissipation. At G=+1, SFDR is -72dBc at 1MHz and settling time to 0.1% is only 80 ns. Low distortion and fast settling performance makes this amplifier a suitable driver for single-supply A/D converters. The versatility of the AD8040 allows the user to operate the amplifier on a wide range of supplies while consuming less than 6.5 mW of power. This feature extends the operation time in applications ranging from battery-powered systems with large bandwidth requirements to high speed systems where component density requires lower power dissipation. The amplifier is rated over the extended industrial temperature range, -40°C to +125°C.
